Food was cold, it was also very greasy/Oily, inedible. Mushy peas were very salty. Will never order from Taylor’s again.

On a trip to Blackpool with my job I came across this chippy ,omg best ever fish and chips I've tasted proper crispy batter on the fish and chips were lovely with curry sauce, highly recommend this place ,will be back.

Best take away Chippy in Blackpool. There are many closer alternatives, but Taylor's is worth going the extra mile for. Cannot comment on the eating in atmosphere, have not tried the cafe as yet.

Love this place ever since we arrived in October we visit every week. The fish is so fresh you can taste the sea. The little restaurant is inviting and well serviced. Recommend to all, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly from the start,haddock was haddock not whiting or alaskan pollock. Holland pies and puddings,tasted excellent.i visited from Scotland and always go there.

First and last time I order, the fish was stone cold, dried up inside and swimming in grease and was not freshly cooked. The chips were hot, the curry sauce and sausage were stone cold. It cost me £16 and most of it went in the bin….

Dropped in here for my tea about a week ago as I've seen the place many times but never stopped.. What a great Chippie. But be warned don't order the large fish unless you've got a huge appetite - its enormous! Chips and gravy really good and pea's brilliant. Although it's a hike to get here for me - I will return!

Fantastic fish and chips at a great price

Waited 2 hours for the food, the delivery driver just passed the food over and left without saying a single word. Then the food was cold. The food was tasty but everything else was awful.

Food was only Luke warm when delivered, had to microwave it.

Nice place, tenner for fish and chips, brew, side and bread, very tasty thankyou, perhaps just a few more lights and the heating on in dining room please 👍

It seems when the restaurant is busy the takeaway suffers massively. They need to rethink staffing levels. And obviously if there was a queue in a takeaway surely they should have to prioritize takes less than 5 minutes to cook a piece of fish. Your response makes perfect sense I'm sorry. I've had a bit of a chesty cough, so I can understand the sickness issues. GL

Order our fish & chips from Taylor’s regularly best fish & chips for miles around I order to collect and they ask for a collection time and it is always ready when requested a great service already recommended to friends & neighbours .

The food and service at this shop is superb and the staff are delightful, This will be our chippy of choice from now on. Jim. Evergreen

Fab little fish and chip shop and diner. Usually a queue and takes about an hour if you order via Blackpool Eats. The pricing is good for the portions compared to some local chippies. I’ve never had a bad fish and chips from here or been disappointed. It’s always been hot, crispy and cooked perfectly. I also like a steak and kidney pudding which I think are Hollands but not sure. The mushy peas are always tasty as well. I’ve dined in and had friendly service at lunch too. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great chippy and cafe, very reasonably priced and excellent quality. We are new to the area and it was our moving day tea. We've already taken friends after a walk and they loved it too. Highly recommend.

We sat inside for our tea tonight. My partner had Steak Puddings, chips & 3 potato scallops. I had Cheese & Onion Pie and Chips. Pot of tea for two. Food was lovely & hot, really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely place to stop in for lunch, the attached cafe is small, and well done, feels cosy but bright. The food was lovely and as a good a price as you could expect for fish and chips nowadays. £8 for a small fish, chips, pea, slice of bread, cup of tea.

Went in yesterday for 3 fish and chips only for my dad to be up all nite throwing up with food poisoning. Not happy as his health is already rocky. Well not happy

Had a delivery to our hotel from here, we had the fish and chips for two on special offer, arrived really fast and extremely hot, we couldn’t eat it immediately which was great for takeaway, driver phoned us to say he was here, we ordered the 2 sausage meal deal the next day as was impressed and this was equally delicious and hot. We will most definitely order again on our many visits to Blackpool

Ordered the extra large fish and medium chips, peas and gravy. More than enough for 2 people or to share was decent grub maybe a little more batter on fish than wanted but still filling and tasty 😊 and was queueing out the door always a good sign.

One of the best chip shops around. It was inexpensive and fabulous. The staff was excellent and helpful. We'll go again for sure.

The best chippy in Blackpool, in my opinion. The fish is melt in your mouth delicious and everything else is just perfect. Staff are so friendly too . Lovely clean dining room. A trip to Taylors for lunch is my treat of the week.

Had a take away from Taylor’s , for Saturday dinner, it was horrible , chips had plenty of marks, and a couple were green, fish had soggy batter, stuck to the paper trying to get it out of the box, my partner gave me some of his which not as soggy as mine, don’t know why they use boxes, what wrong with newspaper, waste of time and money, very disappointed, won’t be going back.

A hidden gem in Blackpool, well off the beaten track lies this cozy little fish and chip shop with a small diner, I've only had takeaway but ooh how delicious, fish is sublime, chips a plenty and the footlong sausage an eye opener and a firm favourite with my daughter and my dog, I don't know which likes it more.

Canf fault it. Good value, nicely cooked and a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Quaint little dining room attached to a chippy.

I really can't imagine the high quality of the fish and chips with this price！All the food is made by order, freshly deep fried. We bought it back to hotel and the food has been done in a glance. I have no chance to take any pictures at all！ Highly recommended！

DO NOT USE - took my money, no food and no customer service, via blackpool eats, Completely stupid - order a meal at 8.29 pm - for it to turn up the next afternoon, and get told you should check if there open - why the hell would I at 8.29pm, then after three emails - they refuse to refund! Blame me for ordering food ?! At 8.29pm.....Nonsense. No customer service help, you have to phone the restaurant up, and hope they answer ( which they did not) problems and problems !!!!!!!!!!

Very busy but didn't have to wait to long. Very sensible on the prices and don't overcharge unlike some chippy in Blackpool.

Top notch quality, value and service. Waitress served my dog fresh water which was much needed and appreciated. Nice, friendly cafe area to enjoy great fish and chips. Would highly recommend.

Food tasted okay, however took almost an hour an and half to deliver, 40 mins later than estimated delivery time, and was quite cold. Portion size also very disappointing, and the 12" pizza was only 10" at most, and quite overcooked.

We come over from Blackburn (About 25 miles) to visit my brother and his son every few weeks and always look forward to calling in here for a sit down meal in the lovely little seating area. Very clean and tidy, spotless toilet area, friendly and courteous staff and the food is always superb, really top quality fish and chips, piping hot and beautifully battered, including tartar sauce and with a choice of peas or curry sauce as well, bread and butter AND a proper pot of tea for £9.50 ! (That's opting for the medium size fish, which is quite a size !) Absolutely fantastic value for money. Have visited on many occasions, food is always of the same standard / quality and have never been disappointed yet. Highly recommended, superb little local chip shop with the great option of being able to eat the superb food in the neat little cafe area.

I’ve just ordered large haddock and chips from Taylor’s fish & chip takeaway and found a large pice of plastic in my overcooked fish. The meal was poor and the fish was overcooked. Avoid this takeaway!!!

It is a very nice place clean and the food is very good. Staff are very friendly one of the best chippys I have been too. Very popular you will always see a queue. The fish are large and very nice.

Great fish and chips. had 2 fish deals and onion rings to die for. Even the dog had a sausage. Even at 5 pm on a Monday it was busy, always a good sign. Worth a visit.

Took 45 mins to serve me. Then they didn't give me my mushy peas or curry sauce. Wanted my money back so left them a voicemail after I couldn't get through when I called. Got no response. Will never go again. Chips were way overfried and crispy which wouldn't normally be an issue Coa I douse my chips in curry sauce. Had to spit on them to moisten. Kids were crying and everything.

I've only been a few times, but Taylor's has never failed to impress me with the quality of its food. The service is courteous and speedy, the prices are reasonable and the food is scrumptious (especially the foot long sausage meal for a £5). Would highly recommend to residents and visitors.

Disappointing take away. Fish was nice. Chips not nice. Onion rings and potato scallops very disappointing.... Both were mainly batter, onion/potato were cut too thin.

Due to holiday traffic I couldn’t get to my usual chippy, so called into Taylors. Not been in years but so glad I came back. The best fish and chips I’ve had in years, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Once again this will be my new go to chippy

My first experience here following a recommendation. Very nice and a decent price. They also put plenty of salt and vinegar on which many skimp on nowadays.

We stopped off for dinner at Taylor's unexpectedly. We were setting off on our way back home to Sheffield when we were just passing by and noticed their fish & chip shop. We intended to have our food unwrapped, and sat in the car to eat them, but then we discovered that there was a cafe section within the shop - even better! The shop and the cafe were both spotlessly clean and the decor was really fresh, with lovely beach-hut vibes. Lots of choice on the menu with very good prices. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered both the medium and large "Taylors Made Specials" (fish, chips, a side, homemade tartare sauce, a drink plus bread and butter). When they arrived, both sizes were much bigger than you would get at most fish & chips places around. The batter was so crispy and the fish had white flakes of really meaty fish. Chips cooked to perfection accompanied by the creamy tartare sauce, traditional mushy peas and good old bread butter for good measure. If you walk away from here still hungry after eating- shame on you! We would definitely recommend trying Taylor's if you've not already visited, and we would absolutely visit again if we were in the area.

Great staff, nice clean surroundings and the food was almost perfect, the fish was just a tiny bit overdone, but I felt it was a mistake not often nade, I was just unlucky. They have a great reputation and we were recommended there by a local person, judging by the queue for take away, it's well deserved.
