Previously always loved TGI Fridays but last nights visit will definitely be my last. Freezing in there. Table was dirty on top and littered underneath. We had to ask for cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper and plates! Waitress had no knowledge of drinks. Took 45 minutes for drinks to come. A 2 hour wait for our main (the restaurant wasnt even half full) Food arrived with mistakes - ordered salad and got chips, additional sauces missed off, loaded fries instead of loaded skins. Food quality was terrible.There seems to be no one supervising anything. Lots of very young inexperienced staff. So sad to see what used to be a fabulous place to become this. Will not ever return.

Visited with the family just after Christmas. It was mid afternoon, not too busy. Our initial waitress was very nice and had a lot of time for us. The food was delivered by some kind of drongo who kind of threw the food at us. He could not have looked less interested. The food was ok and ate the burgers but for the price you would have expected a lot more

Went in as group of 9 last night, as both a work get together / celebration and thanks for a great Christmas as well as a hen party… after 20 minutes we were still waiting for a drink order… after 30 minutes still hadn’t taken our food order. Then waited another hour for food… when the food eventually came it was only half the order as the other half hadn’t been put through correctly (we were later told). Spoilt what was supposed to be a great night celebrating… Faye the manager did sort things out for us which left us less angry as we left… but the night was already spoilt.

We recently visited TGI Fridays in Castleford to celebrate a birthday, and while the experience started off a little wobbly, it turned into a truly lovely evening thanks to the exceptional service we received from Jordan. We had pre-booked a table for six, but on arrival, there was a bit of a delay in getting seated. One of the members of our group is a child with ADHD, and the wait was proving to be quite difficult for him. Jordan noticed the situation straight away and immediately stepped in to help. He swiftly sorted out a table for us, getting everyone settled before things could escalate into a meltdown. This small act of awareness and empathy made a world of difference. Jordan’s kindness didn’t stop there. As soon as we were seated, he offered drinks and clearly understood the child was feeling overwhelmed. When it came time to order, he went the extra mile, suggesting the brilliant idea of bringing the child’s meal out alongside our starters. This allowed him to eat at his own pace without the pressure of waiting, and it really helped to set a calm and enjoyable tone for the rest of the meal. Even during the lively moments in the restaurant, like when the staff sang happy birthday to another customer, Jordan discreetly checked in to ensure the clapping wouldn’t overwhelm the child. His thoughtfulness was deeply appreciated, and it made the experience so much more comfortable for everyone at the table. By the end of the evening, we left feeling incredibly happy and grateful. It’s not every day you come across someone who shows such genuine understanding and care. Jordan’s ability to read the situation and adapt made what could have been a stressful experience into a memorable and positive one. TGI Fridays Castleford is lucky to have him, and we need more people like Jordan in hospitality – his empathy and attention to detail made all the difference. Thank you again, Jordan, for making our celebration special!

Went to go eat here this evening and we left before even ordering. The restaurant was half empty and there was plenty of staff around but we waited 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us despite the staff being there. We then waited a further 20 minutes at the table without anyone even coming to take a drinks order before we just upped and left. It felt like the staff had no interest in being there and the price of the food is a lot for the service they are providing.

I don't see this place lasting much longer. Prices go up, menu gets worse, service absolutely dreadful, staff cut to the bone. Fairly obvious they're another place shedding table service just so they can fill Uber eats orders. We came in and waited 30 mins for a starter, then another 30 for our main. No plates or napkins given for wings. Never once asked if we wanted refills. They know it's bad because they don't even bother asking if you want to tip on the card reader anymore.

Came today to buy some food With my son and his dad. He took so long to get the drinks but it was getting ridiculous. The main took forever and the starter came after the main the food was cold in places and the venue was absolutely freezing. I had to eat my full meal with my coat on like many of the other customers. How can you charge that much money for food that isn’t up to scratch the venue? We wouldn’t even be allowed to teach students in due to the extreme temperature. I have plenty of photographs which I cannot share due to having other customers in sat also with their coats on in the extreme cold temperature.

I got TGIs delivered from this restaurant, and to be frank, it was awful! I for one waited 2 hours for my food, then when it arrived, my burger was wrong, i was missing my mozzarella sticks, and my drink was missing. Then when i contact the delivery partner, i get nothing back, so i try ring the shop, to which i’m left on hold for 5 minutes before somebody picks up then hangs the phone up. Never order from here, absolutely disgraceful, i expect such a better experience from such a known branch.

Absolutely shocking service. We visited yesterday at about 4pm. It wasn't very busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff on but it took our waiter a while to come and take our drinks order then at least 15 minutes for them to arrive. We eventually ordered food but after over an hour waiting and seeing lots of staff sat down near the kitchen having a break while at least 20 meals were sat on the hot plate for over 10 minutes we told a waitress we would pay for our drinks but didn't want the food. She went to speak to the manager and then came back and said we could just go. The manager never came to see us and the food was still sat on the hotplate! We definitely won't be returning. We ended up on Ask Italia and the food and service was amazing!

Visit castleford TGI fridays 15th December 2024 very disappointed poor service waiters seemed not to smile or really care about customer service . Asked for coffee informed machine broke changed order to tea told it comes from same machine and no-one has come to fix it.(noted later a review from 1 month ago had same issue). burgers seemed overpriced for the quality provided The refillable cokes were not refilled, waiters were not attentive to customers we had to seek assistance for any sauces. A table near us had to ask twice for drinks after a while sat down (the restaurant wasn't full). customers require good food , good service and value for money we did not experience this today. From reviews it seems you send a reply apologising for not meeting standards today there appears to be a few past reviews stating very similar issues .we probably won't visit your restaurant again.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The waitress had no idea about the menu when asked about the drinks she said she had no idea what it is. We had no cutlery and no plates on the table. When we asked about the cutlery she took them from another table throwing them all together without any napkins on our table, when we asked for the plates she brought dirty plates with sticky marks on them. The drinks were incomplete and certainly not worth the price even in the “2 for 1” offer. She kept coming in asking if we finished and took out plates when I said they’re dirty, but didn’t try to change them for other ones. She just took them and went away. She kept on coming in to our table asking if we finished while we were talking and trying to drink our drinks. The food was also burnt and didn’t taste nice. You could feel a terribly unprofessional atmosphere from the staff. She asked if we would like the bill while we still had at least 3 drinks to finish. I don’t think any of the staff has been trained to do anything in this place. Even counting the change was quite difficult for them.. honestly it was an unpleasant experience.

So much for a Cajun CHICKEN pasta with no chicken do your chefs have the mental capacity of a two year old to where as they forget the main part of the dish and I requested no peppers, no onions and no tomatoes but yet you put them in you clearly can’t read the order tickets correctly.

Worst meal. Turned up, waited for a table for ages, no one interested in getting us seated. Asked for drink order before given chance to look at menu. Ordered coke and wasn't advised that there was a cheaper refill option. Ordered two burgers, both came without the burger sauce. Had to ask someone for sauces as they just walked off and then they didn't give us chance to ask for more than one thing. No one checked to see if everything was OK. Was charged someone else's bill. Poor service and overly priced food. Felt poorly afterwards.

I’ve heard of Friday’s for so long, the food was good, but the service was really awful! We had to ask for napkins and cutleries so many times!!. The waitress brought the dessert without any forks or spoons and when we asked she brought two spoons (which is good because we asked just once) but we were four on the table😅, then when we asked again she brought one fork and a knife 😂. Was really funny experience

Ate here last night, when your food is average - service has to be spot on to make it a good experience. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Seated at a table that hadnt been cleaned and still had dirty cutlery on it. When asked for a cloth to clean the table - it never came. I collared a young man walking past with a spray bottle and asked him to clean our table. The manager/supervisor overheard this and offered to seat us at a different - clean - table which we were happy with. Our drinks then arrived. A milkshake with no cream plonked down and said - we have no cream I hope that's ok. Had I know I would have changed my order but I just rolled with it. We then ordered food - after a 25 minute wait a very apologetic young man (who wasn't out server) informed us that my order was unavailable and would I like something else. Being a vegetarian options were limited at best so essentially I had 2 items to choose from. When the food eventually arrived it was very average. And absolutely smothered in chilli flakes - to the point of being unbearable. The only reason they're getting 2 starts is because the young man was so apologetic about not having my order. No apologies or comps offered otherwise. Not the worst experience I've ever had - but certainly won't visit again.

- Parts of our meals were missing - Key ingredient from cocktails were missing - The room was freezing - Most of the beer wasn’t on as the pumps were broken - All of the toilets were out of service. - walking around the restaurant there are clear signs of disrepair, several booth seats were ripped and damaged. - The foods similar quality to Wetherspoons, not knocking Wetherspoons but it’s about a third of the price. - service took ages and it wasn’t even busy It’s quite obvious why this place is in administration. Would not recommend.

Dreadful! No wonder this restaurant chain is going under!! Where do you begin? No staff, no atmosphere, the food is so overpriced, its unbelievable, we used to queue up outside for a table at this venue, but I'm afraid it's lost it! It's unlike me to leave a review, especially a negative one but l wish l had taken the time to read the reviews, before going. The staff, of which there were only 2!! We're unmotivated, and struggling to cope, the food quality and quantity was appalling and also, the restaurant was in a pretty bad shape, it was grubby and tired, and completely unappealing to anyone coming to the door. We actually saw many potential customers, look at the overpriced menu outside, the lack of diners, and general state of the place, and went elsewhere, something l wish my Wife and l had done. Sadly, after being customers for many years, that's it now!

We ate here one weekday lunchtime, it wasn’t busy at all yet the food took a good 40 minutes to come to us. We could see it sat on the shelf in the kitchen ready to be served! So it had gone fairly cool by the time we had it. We had the smashed burgers and chicken strips, they were average at best - certainly not as good as the food used to be a few years ago! Also the place was filthy, we asked the waitress to wipe down our table and she moved us to another one which had equally as grubby seats/table/cutlery. The staff were lovey and helpful but unfortunately the lack of cleanliness, mediocre food and wait for the food to arrive doesn’t leave me with much choice but to mark it 2 stars.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Went on Tuesday for my daughter’s birthday, she had been so looking forward to it and it was nothing other than a shocking experience. Took over 10 mins to be greeted at the door to a table by a young girl who clearly did not want to be there ! 45 minutes for starters which looked like they were thrown together in minutes. Then a further wait for 40 minutes for mains which was 4 burgers, again rubbish Iv had better from a takeaway. I ordered my daughter a surprise dessert for her birthday and cancelled it as it was clear every table in the restaurant had issues and could not wait that long for it with the amount of time it was taking. No table had any cutlery or napkins, table in front and behind had to get up to go find someone for cutlery, surely when serving food to a table you would check they had something to eat it with. Many tables requested the bills and it was back and forth many times as they were all wrong it was a complete shambles and for the price … £130 For 4 burgers and 2 tiny side plates of nachos is disgusting. I have never felt so disappointed eating out, we could not get out of the place fast enough. There was no management about, just seemed to be a bunch of young kids who clearly have had no customer service training what so ever. The place wasn’t even that busy to warrant how long food was taking. Every table around us were in dismay. Never ever again, I so wished I had read the reviews before going as it seems to be a current issue by reading recent reviews. Be warned seriously disappointing, totally ruined my girls birthday evening! Don’t waste your money there is much better places to eat around.

Mel turned around and said ‘what’s funny’ whilst pulling a disgusting look at me. There was no respect or good customer service whatsoever. First time going to TGI Fridays in a long time and will likely be the last. Prices were very steep so was expecting some great food which wasn't what we got. The smash burgers were completely black and burnt, each person in our party of 6 literally go lt about 10 fries each. I'd ordered sweet potato fries which they didn't have so was just given house fries (but will still charged for the sweet potato fries), and ones of the kids meals was also wrong. Once plates were cleared we waited over 15 minutes for someone to come take our dessert order, managed to get someone's attention to ask if we could place an order for desserts, they said they'd get someone and we were still waiting another 10 minutes before someone actually came. Desserts didn't come out at the same time and one of the kids sundaes was missing a topping because they didn't have any of that either. Overall we were there from 12:15 until 14:40 which is abnormally long I wish that was the end but then came the bill. Of a party of 6 with 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children, they tried to charge us for 6 adults milkshakes which we had to ask them to change as that's not what we had ordered. We then noticed that the offer we had provided hadn't discounted as much as we thought due to the very poor wording. So we all left very unhappy in the end which was a shames as it was supposed to be a nice day for my son's birthday. I didn't notice until after we had left they had still charged me for the sweet potatoes fries I never got. Very unorganized and incredibly poor food for the price.

Delivery was good. Food not so much. Mac n cheese bites came as Mac n cheese, no bites, just a portion of pasta. The cheese and bacon fries must’ve recently changed as they now contain chillies, my own fault for not checking but seen as I’d ordered so many times I assumed it’d be the same. The can of pop arrived warm, as in heated up warm seen as it was put on top the rest of the hot food without any packaging

In a word terrible! Took 90 minutes for food to come out, the place wasnt that busy. When the food did turn up it was all pretty average, burgers half burnt, no sauces with any of the dishes, and had to wait 5 mins for cutlery to be given out. For the money you pay (£20 for 6 chicken strips and chips) its pretty abysmal. - Update - In reply to the owners response below, we did already submit a query through the website 2 weeks ago, no response was received. 🙃

We have regularly visited TGI Fridays and have always enjoyed our visits. However, our most recent visit left us extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. After being shown to our table quickly, we had our order taken within 5-10 minutes of sitting down which is what we would normally expect. It then took 45 minutes for our appetisers to arrive (which were stone cold) and then another further 30 minutes for our mains to arrive. Our server was nowhere to be seen after they had taken our order, and there appeared to be a lack of staff at anywhere at one point. After looking round, we saw them all congregated round the kitchen window laughing and joking, while us and other tables were waiting for our food. In this time, another table that arrived after us had been sat waiting for roughly 20 minutes waiting to order, before they up and left as nobody had come to see them. We also noticed that one of the pepper pots provided on the table had mould growing in it. We raised with the staff member that did eventually bring out our main (which was also cold). When we raised the issue of our dissatisfaction with the staff member that brought us our bill, they claimed that they had been 'busy' yet the restaurant was more than half empty. Really disappointing level of service and sadly we won't be returning any time soon.

As a family, we left our last visit disappointed with service but after a few months thought we’d give it another go with it being school holidays, give the kids a treat etc. Young lad at the door was attentive but once we got shown to our table - which was right next to the ordering station (half the table in the dark) so numerous staff members were stood right next to us - that was it. Sat there over 20 minutes and nobody even took our drinks order. Wouldn’t have minded as much if it was packed but it really wasn’t that busy. So we just got up and left and won’t be going back.

We used to love TGI Fridays but our recent visit there was terrible. The portion sizes have shrunk and the prices dramatically gone up but that seems to be the same in most restaurants these days. The service was very slow as they seemed to be very understaffed so did feel a bit sorry for them. The sharing nachos starter was just about big enough for one. We had to find someone we could ask for some knives and forks as the food was brought out without any. The glazed chicken burger was a piece of plain chicken without any glaze. The sesame chicken came with a salad which consisted of a tiny pile of sad looking dry red cabbage and the dip you used to get with it no longer comes with it. It then took about 35 minutes after ordering 3 kids ice creams for them to come out. All in all it took almost 3 hours from sitting down to getting he bill. Everything was slow. Definitely not worth the high prices!

We came here on a Tuesday night after some go karting. When we walked in we could see multiple tables that had been used and not cleaned. The entire hour that we were there the tables were not cleaned or wiped. When we were seated at our table we had not napkins or cutlery and the it took 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order. When we did get our food 2 out of 3 of the orders were wrong. Service was slow and not good at all. I could understand if it was a busy night or if they were understaffed but I could see 3 people at any one time having a laugh in the kitchen. We had to flag servers anytime we needed something as we were not checked on. One table waited so long that they left without their food order! Overall not a great experience and will not be back

We tried entering to order after a film, a family in front of us who booked were waiting at the front of the store for almost 20 minutes as we walked in. I approached the servers to kindly ask if anyone was serving the front of house - a member of the serving staff rudely exclaimed "we can see that thank you" with a dirty look on her face as they continued talking. Ourselves, the family in front, and the people behind left and ended up in Frankie & Benny's where we received the usual lovely service. Avoid like the plague.

Jordan J is what makes this place and his customer service skills are exemplary. He's warm and welcoming and very attentive. I've been to many different restaurants with TGI's and had varying experiences, but nothing I have ever felt the need to complain about. Our server was actually very kind and accommodating aswell as the folks who greeted us when we arrived, nothing bad at all with service, until after the food came out. My sons food did not come out with the rest of my familys food. We know that not everything comes out at the same time, but it was nearly 20 minutes before until I had to ask where it was. When I went to ask another member of staff where his food was, it had simply not been ordered. It was then made a 'priority' and still took another 20 minutes before his food arrived. My dad then questioned why the service had failed to bring my sons food on time, which the server replied 'yeah, sound' and just left. We were all obviously upset, so asked for a manager to come and explain to us why the service was so poor, the manager told us that we personally attacked the server and that's why she left. The manager didn't really care for anything we were trying to say since she believed the servers ridiculous story. TLDR: avoid this place like the plague.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The service was terrible, the staff lack customer service skills. They are rude and incompetent. When complaining to the manager about the low level of service, the manager was also rude! It’s not a customers job to have to chase up their food order. It’s also not a customer’s job to go searching for their own cutlery, the food wasn’t that great either. The table wasn’t wiped down properly and everything was sticky with food still on it. Absolutely disgusting place.

Ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adults, one of the kids burgers the bread was like a brick, when telling the manager and asking if she would feed it to her children her response was “no I wouldn’t” so how they even thought it was ok to serve it to my children is beyond me!!! The Cajun chicken pasta had 1 piece of chicken in, the other two meals were cold along with the 2 that were in bad condition, we had no knives and forks so had to go and find someone to get us some, then they only brought us 2 when there were clearly 4 people eating, we didn’t get asked how our meals were and then we had to wait 40 minutes to speak to a manager to be told we still had to pay for the meals and the best they could do was offer a measly 25% discount, no customer service in there what so ever. I was also told “ well she’s ate everything other than the bread” about the child’s meal, she was hungry and had 2 pieces of chicken in it the size of a chicken nugget may I add, and she ate it because of the long wait to even get asked if everything was ok. Honeslty disappointed is an understatement and I won’t be going back.

This branch used to be great for a meal out with the family, not so much anymore. My daughter wanted to go for her birthday and when we arrived the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything, so i told her about the birthday. I was expecting them to sing for my daughter and make balloons like they used to. Nothing. Daughter was upset. Food took so so long to come out it was ridiculous. I felt for the staff though as they were so overworked. Plus no option to tip if paying by card. Such a shame its gone down hill.

Waited too long to be seated (it was far from busy) Service: we were called “Amazing” and lots of other insincere platitudes- presumably because we managed to choose something from the menu….. oh woopy do! Seat was broken and loose. Food took far too long to come and was awful. It reminded me of the “before” version on Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares. The Nachos were just a lump of cheese with chips and jalapeño. The pasta was awful: virtually no sauce at all, some chopped veg (that looked as though they’d been frozen) and a small piece of grilled chicken on the top. I am far from a fussy eater, but it was dry enough to choke a camel (I left most of it - and I never leave food). We were given a knife and fork - my knife was dirty and you could feel the encrusted food on it. The sesame chicken went down well with the boys (but we had to ask 3 times for barbecue sauce and wait 10 mins). The burgers came for the boys way before our mains. Ok they were on the child menu, but they were mini hors d’ouvre sized (one for each boy)! I’ve never seen such food served up anywhere, and cannot imagine any qualified, self-respecting chef serving that up to customers. I’m not a bad home cook, but I would never serve that to people. This was probably the worst meal I’ve had anywhere - and paid £90+ for 2 adults and 2 children. Thats the last money they get out of us. We will not be back As for the question below about which dishes would I recommend, the answer is “None of them”. Don’t waste your money like we did.

What a complete shambles. We only went because my son and daughter in law wanted to go and said how pleased they had been previously. We were waiting by the door to be seated for 10- 15 mins. Then waited for menu dint know how long, drinks took forever. We ordered food and waited that long my husband and son went for another drink but no staff to serve so returned to table. Our steak arrived , no cutlery, just 1 steak knife!! My son didn't want mushroom or tomato so none of us got them. Food wasn't hot. I don't like to complain but for the prices we couldn't let it go. We was told that there was only three servers on. I do feel for the staff. I work in hospitality myself. All I can say to the manager, is you need to look at what you are doing, we all know the cost of things but if you carry on over stretching your staff so they can't give quality service then people won't go back. I know we certainly want. The duty manager was lovely. She tried her best. The desserts were on the house but only three was brought to the table.

We haven't been to TGI's for a while now, and I can't see us coming back. Despite being over 50% empty service was slow and a little disorganised. There were errors with meals and items missing from meals. Food prices are high, and portion sizes are small/poor. £8 for some nachos with very little cheese, a small amount of guacamole and sour cream, a little more salsa, and quite a lot of jalapenos (we don't mind this). Oh and only 8 nachos. £20 for a very small portion of their signature sesame chicken strips - a very small portion, particularly in comparison to what the main meal portion of this used to be (for a considerably lower price). £24 for a half rack of their "largest, meatiest" ribs, which were underwhelming, and pretty small to be honest. Children's portions which were very small (too small for our 8yr old) - the one redeeming thing with the kids meals, was there was an offer on to get them free when ordering adult main meals Over £65 Inc. soft drinks after the discount - way too over priced considering what you get. TGI's must be taking a battering from places like Hickory's where food is better, better value, and better portion sizes. In all honesty I wish we'd walked out when we saw the prices, and gone to burger king or McDonald's. I appreciate costs have increased, so prices needed to go up, but they have also massively reduced portion sizes, quality of food, and service levels in the branch. I feel ripped off, and incredibly disappointed that I've wasted one of the opportunities we get to actually dine out, and spent a lot of money at the same time (vs what we got).

We came here on a rainy bank holiday weekend not expecting much. We loved coming here 10 years ago when the food was super tasty. Over the year’s the standard really dropped, the burgers in particular really lacked an overall quality to them, dry and tasteless, and small. We eventually stopped coming. The negatives: The prices are way too expensive, £20.60 for a Jack Daniels glazed burger with fries is just too high. When we arrived there was no front of house staff. After a few minutes a young lad with glasses - who looked like he’d sleep walked into work, took us to our seats. He didn’t really say anything to us. It wasn’t looking good. We sat for 5 minutes when a young man called Jordon introduced himself. He was so friendly and professional, he made us feel like we could relax and we were in good hands. He got our drinks (house pilsner and pretty decent) promptly, and swiftly took our orders. We waited 30 minutes for food, and he topped us up with another round of drinks in the meantime. When the food came Jordon said sorry for the wait guys, enjoy your meal, and let me know if there’s anything I can get for you. A nice touch. To our pleasant surprise the food looked delicious, and plentiful. I got the classic JD glazed burger, and my wife had the chicken strips in JD glaze, with onion rings on the side. It was the best TGI experience we’d had in over 10 years.

Really dissapointed experience and certainly the last time we will visit TGi's. With lots of competition out there they will struggle to survive if our experience was anything to go by. Over priced food, food delivered not as described as they had run out of product, cocktails they couldn't produce as again they didn't have the relevant ingredients. And the icing on the cake in a huge restaurant which was probably only 15% full (on a Friday night) so loads of seating availability was when they seated a 'travelling' family right next to us who were loud and rude at which point we chose to leave after paying our overpriced bill of over £250 for 6 of us. Never again.

Particularly disappointed to receive cold food although cold is better than none, which this second order was intended to replace, since my original order (a much larger amount) went missing and was shown as delivered despite not being so. I can only hope whoever got it enjoyed it. Sadly, I was unable to contact the restaurant (TGI Friday's Castleford) since they didn't answer the phone. I am of course asking for a refund. Wish me luck.

Food is pretty standard for a chain restaurant. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. Would advise booking to avoid any waits as it can fluctuate depending on cinema times etc. Service can be hit and miss, sometimes they are on it with the drink refills other times they lack. Music always blasting which isn’t always great as you can’t always hear conversation

This restaurant really needs a massive overhaul...visited recently 5 adults and 3 children. Our table was in a really dark area I could hardly see my daughter at the top of table. Food has took a huge downturn in choice , presentation, taste etc could go on and on . Service was poor, atmosphere poor , prices extortionate,only half full at lunchtime easter Saturday. Haven't visited this chain restaurant for a couple of years, certainly won't be going again.

Toilets were absolutely destroyed, and when i asked the staff if they was aware of the situation, not only in the gents, but the ladies too, they said they have no idea, which i find extremely hard to believe. when i say destroyed, i mean put you off your meal destroyed! Ordered our mains and drinks which were served fairly quickly then we ordered deserts and after a 35min wait and a very inpatient child i went to find a member of staff before i had chance to ask i was told, "they are coming" to which i said we don't want it. Paid our bill and left. It's not somewhere we would return to again in the future.

TGI Fridays is not what it used to be. Over priced for barley anything. I would have got the ribs that I used to always get if they weren't £30 !!! Ridiculous!! For a restaurant with a 3.8 score on Google. I will never dine at any TGIs again... And I used to go every year for my birthday. The table across from us sat down like 30 min after we sat down got their food first. Why are you blasting club music the noise level was unbearable. If it wasn't my friends birthday I would have complained but she asked me not to.

Then shortly after that the driver was waiting then 40 mins later got notification that the driver was on there way but the driver was in Kipax which is much further away from the restaurant than my house. Passed by here many times before but as the main part seemed a little run down we hadn't given it a second thought. This time however, We were in need of a break as our journey had been fraught with heavy traffic so we pulled in and were so glad that we did. A very pleasant refreshment stop, with helpful, friendly and smiling staff meant that we stayed a little longer than intended. We shall definitely call in again when travelling this route.

Not surprised this restaurant has closed. They describe their cuisine as fine dining but they obviously do not understand what fine dining is. Slow service, dreadful pizza with undercooked dough (how come they can't produce a good pizza in an Italian restaurant?), tough chicken, lukewarm vegetables. Poor choice for vegetarians.
