Came for a meal after seeing reviews on trip advisor, and I wasn't disappointed. Had starters, main and dessert, and all were out of this world... the staff were excellent too... catered for our every need. Definitely recommend to come here.

Rating is for the dining, not the accommodation: We were visiting Stirling for the day, and searched online for "Best Sunday Roast Stirling" and noticed that Allan Park featured first or highly in every list I found. On arrival we were greeted warmly and served all through with charm and attention. Happy to say that the high rating for Sunday Lunch was well deserved, with very generous portions all exceptionally cooked and packed with flavour. Today's roast was Rib Eye which was succulent and tender and there was honestly more meat than I could finish. Really enjoyed the meal here and would highly recommend!!

My husband and I stayed over and booked a standard room. We were given the Alder room in the basement next to the kitchen. Room was fine, spacious and warm, however there was a gurgling noise from the pipes. My sleep was very disrupted if you get given the room in the future. 😱

Stayed in a room here for 2 nights. For the positives, we really enjoyed the breakfast and all the staff were lovely. Although the room was located next to the stairs and under the dining room, it was surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately the room itself was not great. The bed was fairly uncomfortable, perhaps too thin of a mattress. The room had a very musty smell and poor lighting. One bedside lamp, a lamp in the corner, and no working overhead lights. The wi-fi was terrible from the room, un-usable for the most part.

From the moment we arrived at the Allan Park Hotel, we were warmly greeted by Becca, who has truly made our stay unforgettable. She is everything you could ever want in a host—funny, attentive, and hard-working. Her genuine care and lively personality have been the highlight of our visit. We enjoyed breakfast on both mornings, and it was nothing short of wonderful. The food was delicious, but what truly elevated the experience was Becca’s delightful chatter. She brings such warmth and humor to every interaction, making us feel right at home. We learned that Becca is expecting a baby soon, and while we joked that the first 18 years are the hardest, there’s no doubt she’ll take motherhood in stride with her incredible energy and positivity! The entire team at the Allan Park Hotel deserves a special mention as well—attentive, friendly, and professional. This place is truly a precious find in Stirling. We can’t wait to return and hope Becca and her little one will be thriving when we do! Highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone visiting Stirling.

We booked two nights at the Allan Park on our way up to Inverness to give us time to explore Stirling. We booked the King Room (Alder), which was a spacious and well decorated room. The bed was comfy, and I felt that there was enough storage in the room for all your things. The tea and coffee selection was a good offering, and they provided a small selection of snacks and bottled water in the room too which I thought was a nice touch. Room had all amenities you would want from a modern stay including ironing board, iron and quite a few hangers in the wardrobe area, which I always find are lacking in hotels. The staff were very friendly and approachable, and were happy to help if you had any issues. The hotel is well located for walking distance into the main town centre, and is located approximately 2.5 miles from the Wallace Monument. They do have a car park which has a separate entrance down to the rooms, which is handy for taking your luggage in and out of the car. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of items to choose from including a sausage or bacon roll, and eggs on toast. If you want a full Scottish breakfast you do have to pay for this on top, however I felt given most of the ingredients were already in the breakfast included, this could have perhaps been a supplement instead of a full chargeable item. The continental selection was good as well, and included cereals and pastries along with jams and spreads. We did not eat here in the evenings, however the food we did see coming out whilst we had a drink did look really nice. My only minor negative feedback would be that although there was a smart TV in the room, we were unable to connect to any of the apps. Staff were very helpful and did try to sort it on a number of occasions, but unfortunately were unable too. The wardrobe door was also very hard to open due to the carpet, and could do with a plane down on the bottom. I would also say that the coffee cups in the room were far too small to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and I would have preferred a bigger mug. Overall a really nice relaxing stay, would definitely stay here again.

WOW!!! Amazing is not an adequate word! Phenomenal is more accurate, sincerely. The Allan Park is a beautiful old Victorian that holds charm and character. The accommodations are time pieces and yet very comfortable. The staff…WOW! Becca is so warm and welcoming. She is beyond helpful and does everything to make you feel at home. Stellar!! Richard is very friendly and so knowledgeable! He is so very kind. And then Lewis, Katie Ryan are very efficient at their aspects of making you comfortable. The food is beyond stellar also. WOW again. You can see Stirling castle from the back of the house with only a ten minute walk to the castle. Five star all the way!! We have a new favorite place. Being only an easy short 30 minute drive from EDI, you cannot miss with this gem!!

This place retains what is missing so often especially with chain restaurants - a bit of independent personality. We had a fantastic relaxing afternoon here. An off the cuff, unplanned afternoon tea for a family of 4. Quick phone call beforehand and Richard was more than accommodating at short notice. Food was brilliant and extremely generous for the price - we had to take half of it home. Soup starter was exceptional followed by afternoon tea with Scones as big as my head. Lovely relaxed atmosphere - even had time to play some card games as a family in the conservatory. If you are in Stirling, check this place out.

What a find of a place this was. Happened to be visiting Stirling and asked Google to show me dog friendly restaurants. This came top and when looking it had the added bonuses of also having a separate gluten free menu ( ideal as wife needs GF ) and a car park. I had emailed and received an email back too. We were greeted upon arriva by a friendly waitress and the matre de came over to greet us also as he had been the person I was emailing. Nice touch. Well it didn't disappoint. Venue lovely, staff excellent and the food was equally lovely. Four of us had three courses each, a bottle of wine and sparkling water, 2 cocktails and a coffee and all for £203 Very happy with that. Fully recommend.

We made last minute dinner reservations at this wonderful restaurant on a windy wet night on the recommendation of our B&B host. We walked in drenched and were immediately and warmly greeted by the General Manager, Richard. He helped us hang up our wet coats, found us a table by the fire and made us feel welcome and as if we were treasured guests, not just another couple coming for dinner. But it was not just the ambiance and service that caught our attention. We have had many excellent meals during our 3 weeks in Scotland, but this one was undoubtedly the best. The warm ciabatta bread was amazing. My wife loved her salmon. And I was very impressed by the herb-roasted chicken and haggis. Richard stopped by several times to see how our meal was going and to briefly chat about our travels but somehow had a second sense for when we also just wanted to enjoy our meal. Bottom line, we liked our dinner so much that we booked again for the next night, always a risky proposition, and were not disappointed. We enjoyed the different entrees as much as we had our first and had another lovely dining experience. Because all the food is purpose-made, one is better off coming when they are in a mood to linger. This is a place to savor, not rush through.

My main meal was lovely (king prawn and mussels linguine) but my husband's venison stew might as well have been a mushroom stew as there were hardly any venison. He enjoyed the mash potatoes. Our first visit to Stirling and thanks to TA we chose an excellent place to eat. It’s down a residential street so didn’t think we were going the right way! Parking behind the restaurant. Quite a few tables outside too in a covered area.Inside the restaurant is bright and nicely decorated with the tables well distanced. Serving staff were excellent throughout and very prompt. We ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu - good choice of seafood and meat based dishes (and vegetarian on a separate menu). We didn’t order a starter but were given a complimentary bowl of hummus with crispy bread - great! For mains I had the lamb rump and my wife the seafood risotto. The lamb was perfectly cooked and really tasty - the best meal I had eaten in our 10 day trip of Scotland so far. My wife had an excellent risotto which was cooked just as she likes it with plenty of seafood and chorizo. We hadn’t planned to have a dessert but had seen a number of people receive the popcorn chocolate pot so had one to share - as with the other dishes it was very enjoyable. So nothing to complain about - everything was great and would happily return.

Food was amazing as always. We are regulars and there’s no many places like this in Stirling. Special weekend menu is always so exciting with things you won’t get anywhere else plus so tasteful that’s a bonus. Very friendly. You people make us feel so welcome and comfortable but you always on the ball. Thanks again and off course we’ll be back soon

A disappointing lunch. Lacking the freshness we have experienced since reopening. Gush finger sandwich batter mostly therefore greasy . No salad and cheap fries. Ketchup in a sachet ! If you want regulars it had to be better than this

This is probably one of the best restaurants in Stirling for overall quality, value for money and warm, welcoming staff. We visited on the wildest day, sitting outside when restrictions first eased and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. It’s such a beautiful place.

Today we were passing Stirling on our Scotland staycation and I was desperate to find a good Sunday lunch and I cannot believe my luck finding this place! What a Sunday lunch! The effort put into this meal was phenomenal, every item was flavourful! The amount of beef with the roast was amazing too, such generous portions! I would urge everyone to go try this restaurant!!! What a lovely staff team too! I will return it ever back in the are. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

The restaurant has a great feel and the staff were friendly and very efficient. They even made me an Aperol Spritz despite it not being on the bar menu. The food was tip top our salmon in the crayfish sauce was incredible and so tasty. This is a must when dinning out in Stirling.

It was a general good experience. The typical pub with a front yard with tables to have lunch or dinner. The food was good but it was not the best we had overall in the visit to Scotland. Good value for money and nice staff.

Despite living in the area for over 20 years, this was my first visit to The Allan Park and I will definitely return. I enjoyed Sunday brunch with a friend - delicious and extremely quick service. Perfect location which allowed us to sit outside on an extremely quiet street - no busy traffic noise like other restaurants/ cafes. I can highly recommend.

We visited late afternoon on Sunday 30th May for a 20th birthday celebration for my son. As there were 9 of us we had to sit at separate tables but they managed to sit us close by in the snug. Whilst there the staff were really attentive without being intrusive. The starters and mains arrived in good time and were delicious, especially the Sunday roast! I’m tempted to turn up every Sunday now! We were looked after really well and we’ll definitely be back.

Welcoming staff and the food is delicious. There is also lots of choice in the drinks menu. Worth paying the price for a meal and better food than many other pubs in the area.

We went to the Allan Park with friends for a late lunch on the 17th May. The food was excellent as always and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The inside of the restaurant is bright and airy and the Covid measures are done in such a way you do not feel restricted. We will definitely be back.

On arrival all looked nice, however the table hadn't been cleaned and chips on the floor. Starter of calamari was fresh and hot. Asked for wine list, server forgot. The lamb mains was very nice but a little on the small side. Server asked if we wanted desert and then failed to bring menu, so when she eventually remembered 15 mins later, she already had the bill printed off ! So nice venue, nice food although small portions, poor service, probably needed more staff.

For our first night out in ages, this was a great choice of restaurant. The service was excellent. Everyone was on the ball and very friendly. We had the calamari and the baked camembert to start, which were both really yummy. We had the Beyond vegetarian burgers for our mains which were really tasty, and the Tarte Tatin and Creme Brulee for dessert (both very incredible, but I think I might spend the next few weeks dreaming about the Tarte Tatin). We had a great night out and will definitely be back!

Dropped in last minute for lunch as they have a good selection of Vegan dishes which isn't common. Food was brilliant, especially the vegan brownie for dessert, and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back.

What a great place to stop off for lunch. Great welcome, convers and service from Robert who is barman and waiter This is about a far removed from a chain pub with plastic decor and food and fake continental lager as you can get. The home made steak and ale pie was wonderful, served with a generous selection of vegetables and chips - all beautifully cooked and served hot. My wife had the home made mushroom, wholegrain mustard and tarragon soup - possibly the best mushroom soup she's ever tasted - together with a fresh cooked baguette filled with prawns and rose Marie sauce. Three real ales on tap from the Lade Brewery - again superb. There's even a real ale shop on site. Fantastic. Worth the drive from Loch Lomond for the soup alone. Oh, and less expensive than chain pubs as well. Our best food and drink experience this holiday and will definitely visit again in the future.
