The Alternative Burger Co in Wakefield

Have not been here for a while so decided to give it a try. Neither of us was impressed with our meals. Chips were very very greasy. Fish undercooked & watery Place was busy but mostly with drinkers Definitely gone downhill since last visit

Great location, good food and drink but the no children after 9pm policy just kills it for us particularly when visiting with other families enjoying food. Having to leave the premises in the summer months while sat outside with teenagers as a family is poor.

Tonight's meal was not as impressive as previous meals.The service was let down by staff constantly wanting to take our plates before we had finished eating and drinking.

Lovely food, just a shame there is zero flexibility if you have intolerances. There is no deviation from the menu, not even a swap of sausage for bacon. It’s a shame because the actual food is lovely, just a little understanding and accommodation would go a long way.
