The Aperfield Inn in Bromley

Nina was our waitress today and was attentive and friendly with good service skills.

Four of us had a very pleasant meal at your inn on Tuesday 7th Jan. The food was very tasty and the service was both quick and extremely friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Popped in for lunch - just solo - and was made to feel very welcome - there is a 50% off voucher that was e mailed through and I used that in the fish n chips ! Superb food and very nice triple cooked chips !

We just had Sunday lunch at this pub and it was so lovely! All staff are on top of their game, informing us about everything, checking up on us, and answering any questions we had. Melody and Vic were serving us and we just so lovely! I also noticed at the start of our visit how lovely and on top of everything the manageress is. We had starters, mains, desserts and 2 bottles of wine. Very reasonable prices and all the dishes were absolutely stunning! For once we werent rushed at all between courses and were able to just relax and enjoy our afternoon.

Stopped by on our way home from a football match. Staff were lovely and found us a table, despite it being the end of the busy Sunday Lunch period, so we could enjoy a tasty meal. Service was excellent and very efficient and food was great. We will be coming again.

Nice pub but its more like a youth club at night very bad for families trying to have a relaxing meal with kids hanging round the front door in groups looking through windows at you grow some christmas balls and bar some of the wrongengs spoils the lovey pub

A warm and friendly pub and restaurant. The food never disappoints and the service is always excellent. Lovely interior particularly cozy in the winter with the beautiful open fire.

I visited on Dec 20th with two guests. The steak and venison pie was delicious and my sister really enjoyed her cocktails. My mums potatoes were not cooked right but other than that the staff were great , the decor looks wonderful and I will return. Sorry my grumpy mother posted moaning about the ice and potatoes... we will leave her at home in future . Merry Christmas to you all

We had a lovely 3 course Festive Menu , to celebrate our recent retirement with the family. Pate, fish and profiteroles all delicious. Service was excellent. Would recommend.

Fish was okay but new potatoes were really hard ,sent them back the 2nd portion came back exactly the same so didn't want anymore very disappointing,my sons drink had so much ice in it could not taste the actual drink ,the ladies were really nice , but food not good

Melody and Nina made our meal absolutely fantastic! The drinks were amazing, the food was amazing - especially the brownie and sticky toffee pudding! Absolutely brilliant night with a wonderful team there.

Service was great. The staff were very attentive to our needs! Menu choices needed improving and access to wine/drinks list online to give a better guide on selecting with a meal.

We had the nicest time at the Aperfield during the lights turn on and live music! Lovely evening thank you so much to the Aperfield!

Victoria was our server and Tom served us at the bar for drinks and when we paid. It was such a lovely experience. The food was so nice and we didn't have to wait long at all, even between courses. Victoria was very accommodating and friendly and so was Tom. I would definitely come back. Great value for money, a cosy aesthetic and a warm atmosphere.

First time visit, went for a lunch with friends. Had asked for a quiet area when booked online, taken to a table away from every one else, perfect. Drinks order taken shortly after arriving promptly. We all ordered different meals, arrived together and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Whilst it's a 40min drive we will definitely return as found everything really nice, the two waitress were helpful and friendly. Returned and thoroughly enjoyed it. Met by Tom with a smile, had a drink before sitting down for a meal. The four of us all had something different and there were 4 empty plates. The two ladies both had a mini pudding with a drink. Victoria who looked after us was a joy, always happy to talk if time allowed, was always smiling and happy, lovely person.

Don’t bother going on a Saturday night as opening hours show closing at 11pm on a Saturday only to be told at 9.45 after buying our drinks 10 mins before….that as there are not enough people there they are closing early! Great customer service…….NOT. I wonder why not a lot of people drink here!

It’s like what comes first in here the chicken or the egg. Neither it seems as we were told at quarter to ten on a Saturday night our custom is not wanted welcome or warranted as the 4 of us were not spending enough to stay beyond 10pm. even though we bought 2 rounds at nearly 30 quid each round. Website says shuts at 11. So back to The chicken or the egg comparison how do you expect to attract customers when you treat them with such contempt and lack of welcome. So this chicken will buy his eggs elsewhere in future. Aperfield not Inn on a Saturday night.

Absolutely amazing food! Came here with my young daughter and Auntie and had such a wonderful meal - I would recommend the yummy gammon, egg and chips! My little one had the children's pasta and my auntie had the seabass, both also delicious! I would like to make a special to the staff lovely female staff who looked after us. They were so attentive and kind - great customer service thank you! I had never been to this pub before and I really enjoyed it, there is such a country, warm and welcoming feel to the place! Visited for a mid-week meal with my father. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Scored 10/10 by my father - Hunters chicken, his favourite!! Special mention to our waiter, Tom, he’s absolutely wonderful - kind, friendly and happy to talk. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Came here quite by accident having been sent on a wild goose chase by M25 closure. Efficient, cheery service and good food, perhaps slightly pricey for what it was. Ample parking. I ate in what was essentially a fancy conservatory which didn't feel very "pub". But it served my needs.

Lovely lunch. Sea bass was tasty. Nice atmosphere, plenty of room, not hemmed in. Not too noisy. Waitress was friendly and informative and even popped a candle in the birthday boys dessert, nice touch. Cant wait to return.

Lovely food the chef Harry cooked an amazing burger and the service carried out by mollie was on point. Lovely place would definitely recommend.

The restaurant was very accommodating when I wanted a group booking for Sunday lunch for my 60th Birthday. We pre-ordered and everything went to plan, the service was excellent with special mention to Sandy, our patient and understanding waitress.

Great food and attentive service. It was a very hot day and our waitress took time to seat us in a cool place in the restaurant. Will definitely return. The Banoffee Chox Pastry was absolutely delicious.

In a good day, this lovely pub is full of cheerful people eating their lunch or dinner, creating warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is usually great, and the service quick. The only suggestion: the menu needs more vegetarian dishes, please!

We hadn’t been to the aperfield for over a year as had a couple of not so nice meals. Thankfully all standards have now been resumed , food is now back to lovely and staff are really friendly and super attentive. Namely , Victoria and Reuben , so nice. !

Unexpected gem found! We stopped en route without reservation- Food was delicious and generous portions- Victoria was diligent with our orders and super professional. Parking available and super clean toilets- we will be returning!

I’m giving this review two stars for atmosphere, comfy chairs and servers. The food was appalling. I ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado salad. Presentation was uninspiring, dry chicken, two pieces of French bread with pesto plonked on the top and a whole soft boiled egg on the side of the plate. The avocado was missing so I asked the server and she brought out a small bowl with a couple of slices in it. I sent it back and decided on a starter which was edible. My friend had fish cakes which looked dry and very well done which was put in a bed of chopped new potatoes. Again, this dish lacked presentation and flavour. To be honest, you can see that there is no passion in this kitchen and no love for food or pleasing customers. It is expensive going out these days and was no way worth almost £35 for these two dishes alone. Definitely needs a Gordon Ramsey overhaul !! Next time I’ll stay at home as myself and my children create way tastier meals cooked with real love and passion. We was refunded the cost of the salad (I didn’t eat any) and given one free drink (presumably to share !?)

I've been a regular at this pub for a while now, I have found coming here when Tom and Mollie are working a lot more enjoyable as their always so positive. They have both always been very friendly and a good chat, they always get on with everyone and their 3 for £10 bar snack is a great deal.

We went to the Aoerfield for lunch this week after originally going to the Crown where we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for food. The young lady who served behind the bar was so lovely. We hasd an excellent meal, great value for two courses, piping hot. We will definitely be back.

Lovely pub. Waiter was kind and sweet. Food very average. Over priced. Wasn't offered any condiments and had to wait a long time for second drink. It's a lovely pub however I won't be heading back for the food ,too expensive and had better locally. Passing through for drinks only next time

Had family a Sunday lunch here today (21st July 2024, table of 7) and have to say all 4 of the people who served our table during the course of the meal were fantastic. The service was genuine and warm, everything came as ordered with no mix ups and the food was excellent. We had for starters the beetroot arincini, which was awesome, prawns and chorizo, and calamari, and all 3 dishes were very good. For mains the Sea Bass was a really good portion and perfectly cooked and the beef and lamb roasts were perfect. Best dish of the day is the trio of roasts and don't forget to order cauliflower cheese on the side! I'm always aggrieved at some places with the lack of gravy with roasts but ordering extra was no issue here, and instead of one solitary small hug, they brought us 5. Awesome, and yes we finished them all! We were not rushed at all and had a really lovely family reunion as a result. Thank you to the team who served us. You made the day all the more special.
