The Archie Parker in Lewisham

This is a great sandwich cafe! My friend and I both ordered the Bacon + Brie toasted sandwich and it was so so good. We sat in the outside garden which was enjoyable too. I have since tried to recreate the sandwich haha.

Soy un habitual de The Archie Parker desde que me mudé a Forest Hill. Como bebedor blanco plano muy quisquilloso, sé que mi café será rico, fuerte y delicioso. El pan tostado de queso de cabra y salsa picante de remolacha es mi favorito, umami y untuoso, pero el rollo de verduras libanés viene en segundo lugar y me encantaría comer cualquiera de los pasteles y sándwiches. Desde COVID, Zoe ha hecho un trabajo increíble rediseñando el jardín para crear un espacio exterior elegante y distante. ¡No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente!

El mejor café y sambos, ¡con una cálida bienvenida! El nuevo jardín es fabuloso, ¡no te sientes como si estuvieras en Londres! ¡Mucho tiempo y atención para que se vea tan bien! El café es TAN bueno. Me alegré mucho cuando escuché que abrieron después del cierre; todos extrañamos la deliciosa comida (¡la tostada de queso de cabra es tan buena!) ¡Zoe, la dueña, siempre es muy acogedora! ¡Altamente recomendado!

¡Descubrí esta pequeña joya por casualidad! Era temprano para una cita, así que vine a tomar un café. Tenían una hermosa área para sentarse en el jardín en la parte de atrás, donde me senté con mi café y lo que puedo describir como el MEJOR rollo de salchicha que he probado. El personal fue muy educado y amable. Definitivamente regresaré y me aseguraré de llegar temprano a cualquier cita en el área para poder pasar por Archie Parker.

This is a great little gem, would really recommend the tuna melt. Delicious! Goes great with a trip to the swimming pool. One thing that you might not know is that the owner of this restaurant is the wife of Simon from Trev & Simon!

Great coffee, delicious pastries, and possibly the friendliest staff in Forest Hill. Lovely little place! I’ll be back.

We went along one Friday for punch had the tuna melt and coffee and subsequently returned the next two Fridays for exactly the same. The coffee is exceptional and the sandwiches are beautifully made. Simple but perfect.

The leek soup and bacon sandwich were delicious. Friendly staff and warm welcome Interesting prints on the walls available to purchase

This is a lovely elegant little coffee shop in the trendy area of Forest Hill London, the coffee’s are wonderful and the sandwiches are to die for! Free WiFi and some beautiful artful pictures to admire you can literally sit and watch the world go by!! Highly recommended if your in the area!

The first time we went here we had a nice time, but we visited on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't many other people in the restaurant but the staff did not seem to be able to cope. They were very stressed and it really showed. It was a shame because the food is really nice.

Ive tried this place a few times in the last year and Ive been working locally - but goodness are the staff rude. Curt, unfriendly and lack teh basics of a hello or goodbye. Every time I've walked in, all you get is a side glace as if to say 'Gosh, to a customer we have to serve. Its a shame, because the food is nice.

You can buy anything and everything here. This cafe has a lovely layout. Very minimalist and cute for a nice local find. I can't imagine much business taking place on Dartmouth rd but it's nice to see a cafe slightly hidden. I remember this place used to be a smelly old pet shop so it's nice to see the positive transformation!

The staff here is the best ! They make you feel welcomed. The food is very tasty and the desserts are sinfully delicious !

The Archie Parker is a wonderful little cafe which does a fine eggs Benedict. The coffee is strong and well made and the staff are hilarious. With the added benefit of being dog friendly, the AP is quickly becoming a favourite haunt of ours in Forest Hill.

I found the service in Archie Parker brusque, bordering on rude. I enjoyed my sandwich and coffee but it is overpriced. I also found the cafe cold. But untimely what left a bitter taste was the surly service it was as cold as the environment......

Good deals on coffees and have alternative additions to lunch like tapas and ice cream, worth a visit

The coffee here is well made and tasty (although it's not as good as that at 161). The sandwiches are made to order and usually feature quite interesting combinations.
