Good food, good price. Breakfast here is fantastic value, eggs are hit and miss but otherwise, cracking weekend starter. Not dog friendly inside which is a shame, would love to bring our Luna with us.

Amazing place and food. Staff cannot do enough especially BEN. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant pub with fantastic entertainment

Took my mam in today for an early lunch. Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. Mam got the burger. Impressed with the cheese steak very filling with lots of steak in there given the size of the ciabatta. It's a UK twist on an American version which has chunkier steak than a US one and also doesn't have peppers but very good. Mams double cheeseburger was huge, I didn't expect to sample it but she could only eat half soninhad to oblige again very good given the price. Staff are excellent, very attentive and patient, always given a warm friendly welcome.

Great atmosphere especially Saturday night's. The new menu is really refreshing for a local pub. The pulled pork pizza is definitely worth a try. The new starters are amazing.

Terrible pub! Attended a few times! See locals dogs running around but when attending with my own that's ESA registered,we are not even allowed on the beer garden! To be told national is dogs friendly when they say exactly the same! dear owner, as a response TO YOUR REPLY ON MY REVIEW! Jade and Josh work excellently together. Service is always spot on and the 2 for 1 pizzas on a Tuesday are absolutely fantastic.

There are always at least two decent cask ales available here. Well worth a visit. It should be a candidate for inclusion in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide. The prices are very competitive too.

Lovely lunch today. Was going to go for the Philly Steak but had the 14oz steak instead. Absolutely lovely and would definitely be back and recommend.

This is a great pub, the staff are polite, professional, friendly and curtious. The food was excellent, as a vegan I was amazed at the choices I had, I went for the Tapas and it was great. My husband had the gammon which he said was lovely. We arrived in a 6.5 metre motor home and the landlord was so kind that he allowed us to stay overnight in the car park. It was quiet and we were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this pub to everyone and we will absolutely be coming again.

We went to see Venus there and the atmosphere was amazing. Drinks were very reasonably priced and they had a great selection on offer.

I was given burnt burgers,not edible.when they brought fresh they was vegan burgers,the burnt ones was also vegan burgers,not good at all I feel sick

Took my nephew for dinner and was very happy with the food. We had a mix grill and a Xmas pie. All well presented and seasoned. The mixed grill was fantastic and the pie was very generous with great mash and veg. Service was quick and efficient too. Restaurant quality in a friendly pub atmosphere

Great pub, good deals and lively!

The Avenue is an excellent community pub. This former bass pub, has been modernised over the years. There is a comfortable front Lounge and a very smart back bar with darts and a pool table. There is an excellent choice of beers and lagers, with three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales, including a rotating guest beer which is a real plus as some pubs near here don't have any cask beer at all. The food menu and meal deals are excellent, the gammon egg & pineapple is a particular favourite. Very friendly staff, pub car park, not dog friendly, outside seating. It's very rare I give a pub a five-star rating but the quality of the beer makes it five. Highly recommended.

We had a family function here on Thursday 21st Sept. A sad occasion but the staff were friendly and the back room bar we'd hired was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced exactly what we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Hopefully the next time we visit it will be under better circumstances.

Had the smothered chicken from the menu. Absolutely loved it. They can loose the thimble sized container of salad but otherwise spot on.

On the way to the match we had breakfast 😋 the food was enjoyable as also was the service, a really friendly atmosphere 👌

The avenues pub is a brilliant pub with a welcoming family atmosphere and amazing food. Pizza and tapas was amazing made by Matthew and he also made sure everything was okay and we was happy with the food. would definitely come for food again.

Banging venue, the music was very loud indeed where I was sitting.

Took the family out for some tea in the pub and was impressed with the value for money especially the 2 for £10 menu, staff were all very helpful as well including the young chef (I think his name was Matthew) who stopped to chat and ensure everything was okay with our meals, no complaints at all!

Came in on tuesday, had an offer on for pizzas buy one get one free, had two meat feast pizzas couldn’t believe how much topping there was! credit to chef matty and the team definitely recommend

I don’t usually write reviews but me and my partner went in and had an excellent time in the Avenues. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub and the staff were great. Matthew the pubs chef was especially outstanding by taking time out to make sure our order was okay!

The old blonde behind bar is really good. The young bar maid with enhanced breast is distracting but pleasing to the eyes. Service is always brilliant and new menu is great.

Very busy pub on Hull City home match days. The bar staff are friendly and efficient despite the number of customers at the bar. There's plenty of seating and lots of TV screens. It's on a busy main road but does have a rear car park, though best not to attempt to get in on match days! The food we had was hot, tasty and well presented. Worth a visit.
