This is the second time that we have eaten in The Ballroom restaurant at Hoar Cross Hall Like any restaurant, all three of the crucial elements need to be right for it to be considered exceptional, the food, the ambiance and the quality of the service The Ballroom at Hoar Cross Hall cannot be faulted, excellent food, beautifully prepared and presented, served by charming, attentive and knowledgeable staff in a magnificent setting

We have recently had our wedding here at dovecliff me and my wife felt like queens. The staff gave us 5star experience, they couldn’t do enough for us. Our wedding was truly amazing with thanks to Jordan and all the staff at Dovecliff. We will definitely be returning for a meal or show. Jordan and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so accommodating in every way possible. The planning of the day went perfectly and smoothly. Thanks again Dovecliff for supporting us to give us a perfect day. Lisa and Katherine

Popped in for 2 pints after work, don't live in the area. Got £100 fine for using the car park, even though it was for the pub. Manager can't help with this so must pay fine. Total cost £110 for 2 pints. Yeah, crazy.

If you’re looking for a trendy spot in Burton town centre to enjoy a simple but divine Sunday roast then this is the place to go. The staff are attentive but not over bearing, there’s a great selection of drinks and a diverse menu of nibbles, tapas and roasts both for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegans. The roast potatoes are the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant and the Yorkshire puddings are huge and clearly cooked fresh. A simple medley of veg and cauliflower cheese accompanies, just enough to share between two. Will return if I visit Burton again in the future
