This is a great place for a light lunch or coffee and cake. Very dog friendly and with an en-suite bike shop.

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our food. Highly recommend the BLT with avocado added on. The tomatoes were fantastic!

Stopped for lunch in this lovely cafe which is housed within but separate from the bike shop. Delicious soup and amazing grilled chicken pesto sandwich with side salad. Lots of gorgeous cakes too, so glad we stopped here on our way down from Hill of Alyth. Made very welcome even with our dog.

Beautifully prepared food. Limited menu and each item lovely. Freshly baked cakes plus Stuart Tower Ice Cream. You can eat inside or at one of the picnic tables.

The newly reopened Barony is just lovely. Caroline’s food is so tasty and obviously made with love. I especially like the mushrooms on toast and the hazelnut and chocolate cake, which is possibly the most delicious cake I’ve ever eaten! Yum! Also a gorgeous space, and the added touch of fresh herbs and flowers growing from pots makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Oh, and great coffee too!

This is the new cafe that has opened in the Barony. One side of the building is a bike shop, the other is Alyth’s new cafe. We are so glad to have the cafe open. The owner, Caroline, makes you feel welcome as though you were her favourite customer. Yummy healthy meals and tempting cakes. Relaxed and well thought out. We will be regulars. Great place for meeting up with friends.

Have been to Lass o Gowrie a few times now and it’s always such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. We came for breakfast with Santa on Christmas Eve and it was such a lovely and magical experience! We were welcomed by a wonderful elf who knew my wee boy’s name and had him giggling a lot throughout the morning! There were so many lovely touches such as a wee gift waiting at our table and a personalised colouring sheet. A lot of effort clearly went into making this a magical experience for all involved and it really paid off! Can’t wait to go back!

A truly special stay. We stayed at Killiecrankie House for 2 nights. Our room and the decor throughout were stunning. The food over the weekend was outstanding from breakfast, the tasting menu and accompanying non-alcoholic pairing, not to mention the hand picked playlists! So much thought has gone into every detail and was explained so well to us (shout out to our server Mollie!). The whole team are welcoming and accommodating. We would highly recommend and wish Tom, Matilda and the Killiecrankie House team all the success in the future!
