The Black Horse in Peterborough

A good country pub for a meal, wide choice of menu, staff service a credit to management. Large off road parking available, and space to eat inside or outside in good weather

Came across this pub whilst walking around Nassington; the landlord was new (only been there a week when we visited!) The beer was very good and the landlord had plans to 'do' food on a more regular basis.

Belle petite adresse pour le midi. Une carte variée mais pas pléthorique... Des plats de saison équilibrés et parfaitement assaisonnés. Je recommande le Jelly Belly de porc qui sait concilier la douceur du gras avec la fraîcheur d'une salade et le bar grillé accompagné de salicornes et asperges. Service impeccable. Un peu plus de choix sur les vins aux verres serait bienvenu.

We had a lunch meeting at The Black Horse. Food was very good. The dining room was rather cramped. Service was fast. Just wish there was more space.

Great food at business dinner. Portions a bit big on some dishes but overall really good. Service good. Only thing is menu online was out of date so preorder didn't work........
