Really enjoyed our time here. Specialty is Indian thali. Live music on in the evenings on some nights. Biker meet on Saturdays. Should be busier, the Indian food is exceptional. Great Harvey's too.

The pub was not busy at the time i got there. I ordered a beer and some samosas which were really tasty. The garden sitting area is fairly big and well kept

A nice venue to watch Moto GP on a big screen on a Sunday afternoon. Also a good place to go on a Saturday afternoon for the weekly biker meet.

Shocked at how awful this place is. Popped in for a drink.. I mean it's the stuff of nightmares really...dont understand why it's be let go like this.

Lovely people not much has changed in the last 20years but I still like to drop in for a pint the pizza van is there every Thursday and the pizza is amazing

Just stopped off here as we had to change bus & the next one wasn't due for an hour but what a delightful surprise for lunch. We were the only ones there but we thoroughly enjoyed our unexpected break. We had chicken Tikka & vegetable curry, both delicious which included Rice, poppadoms, 2 vegetable samosas each, mango chutney & pickles .... would recommend it. It was great also to be able to sit outside in their decked area. Thank you

Classic nice pub. The owner and his family are very nice and kind people. The gardens are fantastic.

Been here twice in last month, both times very quiet. Kept a good pint of Fosters, at £4.90, that's a good price. But crisps are £1.70 with Red Bull and J2Os around £3.40 which is very expensive.

We decided to go out for a few hours on New Years Eve. There was 4 of us and we booked a meal. The selection of meals are limited, but cooked well. The curry I had was lovely, we found seats next to a coal fire which cosy. That night they had a live band which was good. The landlord put out some nibbles free of charge which was nice of him. Great evening!

Avoid this pub at all costs, unless you fancy an evening in a run down, soulless pub - ‘greeted’ by unfriendly, officious staff! Prices of drinks at this establishment are disgusting, as is the clientele (with their predatory attitude towards women).

Cappuccino served cold. Do not recommend for hot drinks.

Nice country pub, good customer service and very nice garden, I would say their swings and slide needs a little tlc due to the whole thing moving while my 7yr old was swinging, and also slightly disappointed about the amount of chips you get for £3 put overall a very nice pub.

We really enjoyed the food, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Must go to! Will go again 😊

This pub has a very good Wednesday Night karaoke that occur every 2 and 4 Wednesday of each month. It is a friendly extremely clean put and visitor will not be disappointed

Local pub for the top of Biggin Hill. Unfortunately it doesn't have the local pub atmosphere, catering for Jukebox and SKY sport clients. New management are trying to turn the place around with live music, plus Scooter and Bike meetings at weekends. Good range of lagers on tap.

Nice pub, just a bit pricey. Generally though drinks at a lot of pubs is becoming more expensive

Not a great deal of positives on this Pub...looks very inviting from outside but a different story inside....not what I was expecting.

Lovely garden with a little play area for the kids, needs a little tlc but very cute. Nice wine.

Bit of a spit and sawdust pub, the food was expensive for what we got. A plastic straw was supplied our drinks, which were banned from October 2020

Rubbish place, such a waste of money! Staff do not know how to manage this pub, no atmosphere at all and you have to wait ages to get served a drink!! - no cocktails just spirits and beer. It is a family run pub, people who clearly have no experience with managing a pub. I’ve heard awful things about this pub but wanted to try it myself, not worth it. No social distancing at all, limited food selection and even in the garden people smoking weed and cigarettes everywhere. Full of rough people, it’s not aimed at families at all. Staff aren’t welcoming and make you feel uncomfortable, no customer service. Seriously avoid this pub at all costs, go find somewhere else near!!

Good little pub friendly staff nice place for a pint

Great little gem. Amazing garden with kids play area. Lots of covered areas around back and free parking right outside. We met the new owner and his daughter and wish them good luck with the pub in the future. Also has a pool table inside and they do bar snacks and have live bands. The garden is a nice place to spend an afternoon in.

Smashing family pub. We only had an hour to spare while family members took a flight at Biggin Hill airport. We had attentive table service in line with boring Covid regulations. Some of our group had bowls of big crispy chips and samosas which they said were delicious. They were showing all the football in the garden and in the pub but we were still able to have a chat and watch Germany score an own goal. Very smart décor. We liked.

Limited menu. We ordered Scampi which was wet fish bites for over £9 chips okay, Mac bites, at a £1 each, better to buy from Iceland's. Soulless place, food is a total waste of money.

Great beers and covered area outside.... Governor seems friendly and organizing music and bbq events so well happy with that. Nice pub.

Stopped here for a quick drink and what a horror! No social distancing, no track and trace, not to mention the awful noise and drunk behaviour. We passed through just after 22h30 and it was like a garden rave. The whole car park was full, along with the beer garden! Music, shouting and no consideration for others. We drank one drink and left to find a shop to drink when we got back to our hotel it was that bad.

Kids play area great for younger kids. Not a big food menu though

Landlord and family have made a fantastic effort to make this pub a welcoming place and provide a menu for all.

Landlord and landlady making loads of effort, if only they could afford to invest in an alarm clock so they could actually be ready to open when they promise to be...

A warm and friendly place to relax

My partner and I visited this pub.We had driven passed it many times, looks amazing on outside. Lots of kerb appeal and very well presented, nice back garden. Went for evening drinks on a Saturday evening in August... Very disheartened, such a cold, unfriendly atmosphere, non welcoming from landlady!! Very miserable. No smiles!!! Such a shame, alot of effort put into this pub but really does not meet comfortable standards at all. Found it hard to relax and weren't allowed to turn the juke box up a little after asking, although the we put our money into it to listen to music!!! Will not be going back there again!!!!!!! Wouldn't recommed

Spit & Sawdust salt of place. Food was edible and at a reasonable price. The toilets leave a lot to be desired, badly stocked of paper and in need of a good clean. The staff were friendly.

We were only one of two couples at this pub on a Friday lunchtime. If the menu had contained more imaginative things, filled baguettes, panini's etc, their lunchtime trade may have been better.

The juke box is a great touch. Sung my little lungs out. Staff are friendly (could do with more of them though) its clean an being recently done up has made a big difference.

Poped in after driving from South Wales, Landlord is very welcoming and served good food, nice beer garden out back.

If there’s one thing that stands out from this visit is the gracious host, the culinary skills of his wife and the customer service of their daughter. And of course the absolutely delicious hot samosas.

was told, after ordering our food, that their fryers weren't working and that they would have to cancel our order. all well and good, but where else were we going to get to eat at nearly 5:00 on mother's day? we booked yesterday and we weren't expecting gourmet, but we were expecting to eat!

Bar service took a while although there was only 20 guests max. Decoration is so bland. Atmosphere is cold and boring. There is a wall covering the ladies toilets door however it should be facing the other way as people can straight through into the ladies toilets! Haven’t tried the food so can’t comment.

I just wanted to sit in there for a few minutes until my bus came. I went to buy something, it was cash only. So they forced the top back on to the bottle of coke i was buying. Coke by the way is £2 for 330ml. I sat down not being able to buy anything. So the guy at the bar came over a bit annoyed like, and told me I couldn't stay if I couldn't buy anything. Poor pub, no wonder no one ever talks about it being a pub. More like just a bus stop landmark for old retirees. Staff weren't friendly, place looked a bit bare, the table I sat at was a bit sticky, no open windows to let in light and the few windows they had were frosted, not much choice and over priced drinks. 1 star.

I have lived in Biggin Hill for many years and previously avoided this place. Since the new owners have come in the pub has completely transformed. The two owners Vijay and Nim always go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They have made so many positive changes and the place has grown from strength to strength. I urge anyone who is looking for a safe and welcoming place to drink to give it a try. Any whisky drinkers are spoilt for choice. I am now a regular and cant wait to see what new changes they have in store!!

Having last visited this pub when I was a teenager..many moons ago..was pleased to see it was still there..small car park for about 10cars..but can park in the road ..no yellow lines..Charles Darwin came from this area and his house can be visited..also biggin hill airfield is about 400yrs away with those world war two classics spitfire and hurricane outside..lots of shops and store there as well..very friendly atmosphere inside..no steps so wheelchair ♿ accessible..all in all a bit different from teenage years..but still a good old pub..modified without losing identity

We visited on Friday 30th November while staying with family in the area and were made to feel welcome by locals and the bar staff and owner. The bar prices were very reasonable and we enjoyed a nice bottle of red wine. We will be going there again when next in the area.

New owners finding there feet . They were pleasant and took the time to speak to customers and welcome them in. Have visited twice they now have BT sport but not sky sports. Drinks were reasonably priced would be nice to get some food on the menu

I’ve frequented this pub for years. Countless owners/ managers, no one has improved it. A very ‘locals’ pub and seems dirty with no atmosphere.

No atmosphere and not welcoming. Been a few times and very bland. Bar maid was friendly. Did not eat in there so cannot comment on food . Very basic inside. Not really for a nice comfortable evening with friends.

Haber sido un regularmente ya que los nuevos propietarios tomaron más y la mayor parte ha sido buena. Si el interior está limpio, escasamente decorada y el personal es amable. La ale es normalmente 28.00que orgullo Londres, pero siempre bien cuidado.El principal punto de venta es la comida, actualmente £8.95 para la bebida principal y bebidas alcohólicas. La hamburguesa, pescado y patatas fritas y desayuno durante todo el día son buenas opciones, aunque a veces puede aparecer como patatas fritas patatas fritas (y viceversa), y las tostadas no es siempre una tostada. Lo que impulsó esta crítica, sin embargo, fue la decisión de probar algo diferente, y tener la tarta, puré y licores más sabroso'.Este plato debe ser eliminado del menú inmediatamente. Me esperaba una tarta casera con base, o más probable un estofado con tapa de pastelería de hojaldre como es muy común en estos días. Lo que me dieron fue dos tartas pequeñas que eran claramente dinámicos y probablemente congelados. Los empastes con una vaga mushing textureless beefiness, sin grumos. Lo más destacado en el plato era el puré, que era satisfactorio si vergonzoso poco sazonada (como el pastel). Un buen puñado de sal no ayuda importa aquí.En cuanto a la 'licores más sabroso', fue bastante desagradable. Que parecía un jarabe pálido gloopy con hierbas picadas, presumiblemente el perejil. Yo creo que fue un poco más de agua. y cornflour Todo era sobre todo en el plato, no en todos, el pastel de carne traje y realmente no era agradable.Demasiado British no comentario en el tiempo, y no tengo ninguna duda de que si no se hubiera tomado medidas para resolver el problema (probablemente sustituirá con otro plato del menú) dicho esto, no he encontrado la comida esta pobre fuera de un hospital, y es una gran preocupación que consideren este plato apto para su menú. Visitas previas habría justificado 4 estrellas (multiempleo cuenta del valor), pero este era realmente un 1 estrellas (es decir, experiencia terrible). He pasaron a un hotel de 2 estrellas En anteriores visitas de la cuenta mejor, pero dejará un rato antes de la siguiente.

We were in the area due to do a hanger tour at Biggin Hill so needed something for lunch. This place was perfect they offer a stupidly good value deal for a starters and mains. Had the soup and the burger. Both were very tasty and the burger was very clearly homemade with bacon and cheese on top etc. Great stop for a bit of lunch in a pub that could tell some stories for the war days.

Not been here before however will be returning. Excellent burger, all home made, chef is lovely, defiantly be returning.
