The Blind Swine in East Riding of Yorkshire

Micheal and his team’s home dining service is exceptional! We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem! Micheal is a top chef, and alongside his sandwich shop he also does home dining, which was the perfect choice for us when we wanted a very special and unique experience for a family member who loves food, but due to terminal illness is unable to leave the house. We booked Micheal to cook a 3 course ‘date night’ meal for our family at home, and what he delivered was absolutely superb! Not only was the food incredible but his thoughtfulness and attention to detail was exceptional. We cannot recommend Michael and his team enough, for both amazing food in his shop in Willerby but also to consider them for adding a special touch to your home dining. Thanks again Micheal and Adele, you were able to deliver something truly special for our family and we will be forever grateful.

Michael recently catered for 26 of us over the course of a weekend, and the food was exceptional. Michael and his team were incredibly attentive, catering to all our needs and being flexible when we had to make changes to the timings. I would highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again.

Attended an event at the White Hart in Brigg yesterday and last night. I must say the food was exceptional! The team were highly professional, very efficient but still made the time to engage with us - they were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly use them to cater for any event I may want to host in the future - thanks guys! 😊

Your own private chef! Michael was recommended to us as a preferred partner to The White Hart, Brigg, and we were not disappointed! What a worker and what amazing portions! We had an opportunity to discuss what we wanted for our two day party and quite frankly, he could do anything we asked. As we wanted a less formal vibe we decided on street food for the Saturday evening and Michael came up with a menu that also included very tasty sides and options for both vegetarian and vegan guests. He also introduced us to his breakfast burritos which were so tasty for our guests Sunday morning breakfast. Michael and his team served Sunday lunch, which was delicious, with very generous portions and was beautifully presented. Michael has a lot of hospitality experience and his knowledge is evident in the advice he gave us. He was approachable and chatted to the guests, even when he was preparing food. Highly recommended.

We used Mike & his team for our Wedding for the entire day/evening Absolutely professional throughout, went over and above to ensure our day was catered for perfectly, even creating a unique signature dish especially for us. We recently used The Blind Swine for catering at a wake, and they exceeded all expectations! Although they specialise in takeaway food / sandwiches, they offer outside catering, and we had the food delivered to a local pub that couldn't provide a buffet. When ordering, we were reassured that the sandwiches were huge, and that we shouldn't worry if it seemed like there wouldn't be enough. We opted for the £13 per head option, which included sandwiches and three extras – sausage rolls, chicken skewers, and a sweet treat selection. We catered for 30 people, but more attended, which caused a brief moment of panic. However, true to their word, there was more than enough food, with plenty left over at the end. Everyone raved about how fresh and delicious everything was. Even the pub's landlady said it was the best catering she had ever seen! 5 stars for atmosphere too for the help & advice ordering & service. I would absolutely use The Blind Swine again for catering and look forward to trying them for lunch as well. Highly recommend!

Just tried for the first time got west side sandwich so nice best sandwich I’ve had in a long time, price so worth it for the portions was like a door wedge, friendly staff can’t wait to come back and try the shrimp tacos

Mike Sandwiches, never disappoint! A constantly changing menu, allows the buyer to experience a range of different sandwiches that are bursting with flavour. He has designed each sandwich himself, even coming up with fun names for them. Whilst on initial entry, one might think the sandwiches are some one pricey, I will tell you, they are worth every penny. They are not your average Greggs or Couplands sandwich, these are massive and full of tasty (sometimes homecooked) ingredients. Every bit dripping with flavour. For someone with a little stomach, I sometimes even can split the sandwich to have half now, half later. It's not just the lunchtime sandwiches though, his breakfast sandwiches are delicious also. Creating his own sausage with a local Butchers to offer the best flavours. My partner especially likes the Breakfadt Burrito, a little bit of everything. Oh and not to forget the Tater Tots, lush! The fact Mike is asked to cater for local businesses that include Treehouse Restaurant or Porshe Car Dealership, just shows the quality of his food. He is also very personable and learns about his customers, making them feel valued, at ease and able to have a laugh with. Mike even occasionally does Takeaway Friday's, eachtime a different theme, and again totally worth ringing and putting an order in as best takeaway we've had in ages. All in all, I couldn't recommend The Blind Swine.

Best burrito I've had in a long time

Aside from the food being absolutely gorgeous, the chef here went to the ends of the earth to make me feel comfortable as someone with a difficult allergy. He didn't make me feel awkward and even MADE a modified aioli dressing to go with the sandwich I ordered, that would be safe for me to eat. Not only that, but he gave me and my partner some free chips as it was the end of the day (also delicious) , and let me mop up the last of the lovely modified aioli to dip the chips in. We were only in Willerby for a flying visit and it is quite a journey to get there from where we live, but The Blind Swine has given us reason enough to come back to Willerby, just for the food and the service. Thank you!

Tried The Blind Swine today for the first time today. It was delicious 😋 have a Mother Clucker sandwich and it was soooo nice. Everything cooked fresh, generous fillings, great service in the shop. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great sandwich!

Recently used Blind Swine to cater an event. Sadly they were very disappointing. They were simply not prepared. In the run up to the event I had to keep chasing for both the menu and the pricing which started to ring alarm bells. On the day itself they turned up without waiting staff which was included and did not deliver the food on time blaming the venues facilities which seems odd as the venue has hosting many other events there without an issue. The food was also not presented in the way we had discussed prior to the day. It had a huge impact on the event. Sadly the company have taken no responsibility at all for any of this, the damage has now been done and we are unable to change anything however I would not use them again in the future.

Seem to be becoming a regular at this place much to the detriment of my waist size. If you want fresh, tasty and large portions , here is the place to come. Every last Friday of the month is street food night and just had the Mexican fish tacos and pork tacos with loaded tater tots. As always did not disappoint and accommodated my order at the last minute. The sandwiches and burgers are always delicious and there is always some cracking music playing whilst waiting for your order.

I'm not local to the area. I just stayed over at a friend's. This place popped up on Google Maps, and I'm so glad it did. A huge selection of sandwiches available and the breakfast burrito I picked was absolutely perfect. All while delivering excellent customer service. Thanks guys!

Had a rather special sandwich experience here. I think I will be back for more. Postscript. I have been back several times and tried other tempting offerings there. All very good. I was in Willerby for only a short while and have returned to my home in Hong Kong, so I won't be popping in again for a while. Thanks for the lovely lunches.

My friend and I regularly eat here. Everytime we go in the boss man is always very cheerful. The food is unbelievable everytime I take a bite I feel like I’m experiencing happiness for the first time. It is and always will be our go to lunch spot. Thankyou for feeding us, rock on 🐖🤘

We ate at a street food popup event at the Duke of Cumberland in Ferriby, with catering from the Blind Swine. We were gobsmacked by the food. The flavours were amazing, the combinations were great and it was all cooked to perfection. It beats many restaurants hands down. You have to try it. We love BBQ, we love eating out and this is not to be missed. Loved it!
