We booked a table for Sunday at 4 30pm to which we arrived, shown a table handed a menu to which we order 2 roast beef meals, about 5 minutes later the waiter came back to say sorry sold out but do have a special board, on it was one thing on it, I order the only thing which was the liver, again after 5 minutes she came back to say sorry sold out I than asked what could she offer and Ham egg and chips??? At this point we left to go to a near by restaurant and got what we wonted and was a lot cheaper. This is not the first time we have tried to use a local restaurant, with out successful out come. There may not be a third time?

Stayed at a holiday let in Stoke Ferry (River Cottage, also recommended) and asked our hosts where to go for a beer and some good food. We were pointed towards the Blue Bell and we were not disappointed. We ended up eating dinner Friday and Saturday evening and had Sunday roast lunch there as well! The food, ambience and quality of the staff at the pub is a real breath of fresh air. Locals were also very welcoming. And it is not expensive. Sometimes reviews on here are a bit OTT but I stand by this. Pay a visit and enjoy yourselves. It's lovely.

This is a really lovely little community pub with great food. The new menu looks good too. Had the ham hock today. It was really tender and very tasty. Nice friendly staff too.

I visited the bluebell for Sunday lunch with my wife and a friend of mine. The food was very nice and the staff very attentive, I believe my visit represented good value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this Pub/Restaurant. The pub itself is a little basic in decor and choice of bitters but, overall a pleasant place to be with a good atmosphere. Worth a visit.

We were booked into the Bluebell Pub for Mother’s Day Sunday roast and I can honestly say that the roast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and very enthusiastic about the community run public house, which goes to show with the warm welcome and the hospitality that we received. They offer a good range of drinks and local ales that went down really well. All the produce is fresh from local suppliers that help maintain a very good menu. It’s very rare now days to go into a pub when you feel part of the family or community but this pub has it all. Keep our local pubs running with your support. Don’t miss out on this gem 💎 I would suggest booking ahead to make sure you can get in. By the way it’s dog friendly.

After being turned away from a pub near Oxburgh Hall (the kitchen was too busy although we could only see 3 tables being used) the waitress recommended we try The Blue Bell. What a brilliant recommendation! The pub itself was nicely decorated and the staff very friendly. The menu was small but had a good variety of food. Meals were cooked freshly to order, and very generous. We saw notices to say it was a community pub, the village is very lucky to have such a great place.

This small country pub has recently changed and extended its menu. It still offers traditional pub grub but also has a selection of sharing/small plates that are really tasty and very good value. The food was all cooked to order, nicely presented and tasted great. We tried the bao buns which were delicious, as were the nachos. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Afternoon Tea for 2 - you're advised on sitting down that you only get 1 free drink with the Afternoon Tea. Unfortunately the pot of tea came up before the food. So we did end up ordering another pot (£5.50), to finish the food. Would have made a better impression if the tea was free, especially considering the low cost to make. You get 2 rounds of sandwiches, 1 fruit scone with jam/cream and 3 mini sized cakes each. Found the balance of sandwiches to cakes different to other Tea's I've had. Sandwiches were a bit slapdash. Some crusts left on, hardly any cheese in the cheese & caramelised onion. But loads of filling in the coronation chicken. Jam/cream portion just about adequate. Staff were very friendly and we were offered takeaway boxes, which we needed. Would not go for Afternoon Tea again. But might try the cocktails.

Food was really good and good portions sizes, service was great and the staff was happy. The atmosphere was personal we had a booth and it gave us privacy and not have to worry about other people around. And they do both book in and walk in service.

They squeezed us in at the last minute politely pointing out that we would only have 90 minutes before the table would be needed again. Very friendly service and food very much to our liking. We ate in the restaurant but the small "bathing hut" pods for two looked fun. I was obviously very impressed as this is by first review for about 10 years.

From the second we walked past I could tell this place was going to be good. Looking through the window it looked small but don't be fooled there is a middle terrace and an out door area complete with herb garden and flowers. We were just visiting Kings Lynn having never been to Norfolk before we were not sure about where to eat. Being vegan in a new place can be hard but our wandering route took us luckily past this place and we had no choice, we had to go in. Impressed with the artwork we were welcomed in with our dog and sat out the back in the small garden. The guy was cool and friendly and let us know where the local off licence was if we wanted beer (which I did on a releaxed Saturday afternoon). 2 doors down i found some beer and brough it back. Menu was impressive, there was loads to choose from and I could have tried all of it but I went for the Resist! Krispy Chickun Wrap  and was not dissapointed. Generous serving and totally delicious. If I had known in advance I would have tried the primal burger challenge, What an idea. If we had been staying longer I would have gone back for more food. Good to meet other people who care and are doing the right thing. Very delicious, relaxed and fun. If I could give it ten stars I would. Thanks for a great lunch and helping us enjoy our time.
