This is my second visit here. The food was really good, I had the pancakes which only came with 2 rashers of bacon which isnt really enough considering the size of the pancakes. The rest of my group really liked their choices. The thing that was disappointing on this visit was the service. The lady that meet us was lovely, however the rest of the waiting staff were slow and not very friendly to be honest

The restaurant is very popular and it's not easy to get a table. But we didn't like it. We had an English breakfast but everything was incredibly fatty. Even the scrambled eggs didn't really taste like eggs. We are not used to such a fatty meal and left a large portion of it back. Coffee and toast also cost extra so the three of us paid 70 pounds. We will definitely never repeat that again.

A bit pricey for what it is and the place was too crowded. They charge a considerable service fee but food was good and service well-mannered.

Gen Z’s are famous for their desire for instant gratification—except, it seems, when it comes to queuing outside the latest Instagram restaurant. Unlike most of them, I can make a plan and stick to it. So, instead of standing in the rain with the hopeful hordes, I booked a table. Yes, it’s called being an adult. Try it sometime. And do you know what? The Breakfast Club is rather good. I’ve long believed there’s an inverse relationship between the fanciness of a venue and the quality of its breakfast. Five-star hotels? Gorgeous armchairs, soft piano music wafting through the lobby, and some pretentious chef delivering eggs with unidentifiable green nonsense sprinkled on top. A greasy spoon? Life-changing fry-up, but your dining companions are likely to include a pro-Brexit builder and someone muttering to themselves in the corner. The Breakfast Club, however, is that rarest of finds: the middle ground. The décor is peak trendy—neon signs on the walls, mismatched chairs that are probably “upcycled” rather than actually comfortable—but the food is undeniably great. Think perfectly crisped bacon, eggs cooked just the way you like them, and pancakes that would make you briefly consider a life of American excess. The service is sharp, efficient, and almost unnervingly cheery given how busy it is. This place knows what it’s doing, and it does it well. But here’s the key takeaway: book it. Do not stand in the rain for an hour like some desperate intern hoping to secure a seat at the Cool Kids’ Table. You’re better than that. Or at least, you should be.

Went there for a Christmas breakfast with the team and waited for a table. And here was a little mouse happily going about it's business in the restaurant. Couple of minutes later, we saw another. When we pointed it out to the waitress, she smiled and said that they were aware and had called someone. Might be old fashioned but I thought that was a food hygiene issue and that restaurants were not allowed to stay open if the have mice. Anyway, we didn't stay

It was a bit of a disappointing experience. We had savoury pancakes, which took a bit of time, but we thought this is a good thing as everything is freshly made to order. Yet then when our food arrives, it's already starting to get cold. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but I couldn't help noticing they were quite stressed. Three times the waitress was interrupted by her colleagues when trying to take our order. Super nice staff, but definitely overworked. Apart from being a bit cold, the taste and quality of the food was decent. But in comparison to the price, this is a poor choice. Also the hidden service charge is sneaky - not mentioned anywhere on the menu but then there's 12.5% added on your bill. Pay your staff properly, even raise the prices if you must, and this is not a problem. As it stands, it's cheap and deceitful.

It was just underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They seemed very busy and stressed though. They have a variety of options which is good. Our food arrived almost cold which is very disappointing. No one wants cold pancakes nor cold potatoes. The price doesn't match the portions, I got two savoury pancakes with one tiny sausage. Added service charge should be optional or at least your staff should not be that overworked then. There are so many other places around that why would I go there again.

This review is purely for the downstairs basement pub part where the boozy brunches are served. We booked as a group of 6, but two of our party were non-drinkers. We expected to be able to order from the regular menu and order teas/coffees, but were told we couldn't, despite there only being a staircase between the two spaces. Fine, fair enough, but what I found absolutely disgusting was the price that we were made to pay for the non-alcoholic version of the boozy brunch. £40 instead of £45?? Im sorry, but it should be half that! How can you justify charging £40 for a fried breakfast and a couple of lime-sodas? The bottomless booze should allocate at least half of the cost. I would not have paid more than £20. To add insult to injury, we were told we could order a non-alcoholic version of the cocktails on the bottomless brunch menu, so I asked for the non-alcoholic prosecco... they then said "sorry, we dont order that in because its too pricey for us to order it".... the cheek?!! Im paying £40 blooming pounds here!! Absolute shameful rip off!! The air conditioning was also freezing (in November!) and the music far too loud we could not have conversations as a table. Never coming back! Awful experience!

We went two days in a row because the food was really good and service experience too. We were served by Jarek the two days and he was really lovely and attentive. I really recommend it!

Egg dishes are delicious, but most of them are pork. It can be replaced with vegetable bacon. French toast is less than normal.

Quick service, Food was great i didnt enjoy the blueberry compote much but the pancake and strawberries was delightful. the vanilla milkshake wasn't that nice. But everything else was good. It is a bit of a tight squeeze but that is expected from a popular place.

Top Breakfast - went for The Full Monty, and it was excellent whilst my friend loaded up with 3 pancakes 🥞. Staff excellent and attentive. Coffee came in mugs that weighed 4 tons so got workout in as well 😉. Overall great! A fairly quiet place at 8am so a chance to discuss my effort at Movember as well :{

Amazing options for nice yummy breakfast and staff are amazing worth waiting

The food is really good and as a noisy place it's quite good for kids. I was shocked to find that they don't cater for any dietary requirements whatsoever. All of the food is cooked on the same surface so they can't offer anything gluten-free, vegan, egg free etc which affected some of our party. Considering the size and success of the chain I'm amazed they are operating like this. Something I think they need to rethink.

Cozy place. All dishes were delicious. Only wish there was more butter on the blueberry pancakes. Would recommend to come and try!

Great, but the wait was a long time, up to an hour. But order a pancake and forget all the difficulties and troubles of getting this order.

Went with a fairly large group and they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant has a nice vibe and seems to get quite busy. The food and service were pretty good.

What an amazing breakfast, turned up about 10:30 and it was packed. Was told we might need to wait for 10/15 minutes for a table but within 5 had a table. I think it was called the ultimate breakfast and it was amazing. The food was hot, nice and well presented. I struggled to eat all of it, but I did ! The atmosphere was great and buzzing and service was great. Will be sure to go back to try different food on the menu.

We went on the weekend without a reservation and it was impossible to get in due to the number of people, we tried again during the week and we were able to have breakfast, the place is very well decorated and the staff is super friendly and friendly, the service was fast and the food was great The pancakes were very spongy without a doubt to repeat, if we return to London it will be one of our essentials without a doubt!!😊

Last week, five of us went here for breakfast three days in a row because after our first impression we had to try our way through the great menu. ;) we had really super friendly and hospitable service every day. A very special thank you to Umit, Charlie and Jarek <3, who took great care of us. The selection ranges from sweet pancakes to various egg variations and large English breakfasts with beans and sausage to avocado on sourdough bread. Plus coffee specialties and delicious homemade juices and milkshakes. There is definitely something for every taste. The shop is decorated very funny. We can definitely go back on our next visit to London.

There was a bit of a line at 10:00 am on Sunday, but it moved pretty quickly. The service was great due to the wonderful servers. I got The Full Monty, and it was delicious! I don’t know what they put in the homemade BC beans but it had a nice kick to it. Atmosphere was great. Really hip. I like the N64 on display near the entrance. The only thing for me was how loud it was. I eventually got used to it. 100% recommend & book in advance too! Ps, got the mocha too, and it was delish.

Probablement l'une des meilleures expérience en tant qu'allergique! Je connaissais déjà cet endroit pour y avoir mangé à plusieurs reprises lorsque je vivais à Londres et voulais faire découvrir le brunch à ma sœur lors de notre court séjour dans cette fabuleuse ville . Malheureusement toutes deux très allergiques à la cacahuète et à la noix, nous avons directement mentionné cela lors de la prise de commande et quelle surprise de voir autant d'investissement et d'intérêt ! Le serveur m'a mentionné le fait qu'il y a actuellement une contamination avec la moutarde et m'a demandé si j'en étais informée. Le message a été aussitôt transmis à l'une de ses collègue qui est ensuite venue à notre table, ce qui prouve une très bonne et réelle communication entre la team de "The Breakfast club" à spitalfields. Tout était parfait et cela a donné un gout encore meilleure à toute l'expérience, Merci infiniment à la super équipe et à l'investissement des personnes qui y travaille! c'est un tel plaisir de voir cela! Sans mentionner que notre assiette était un vrai délice!

Disappointing eggs benedict. Not like on the picture 4 years ago. Bread so hard it's like a week old amd impossible to cut, Bacon tastes bad. Just overpriced.

Food was slow to arrive. My wife didn't enjoy the smashed avocado on sourdough as the bread was too hard to eat. Not terrible, would give another chance....

The place is nice and the service is friendly, so it's a discreet address. But I have to say that it's quite expensive with no alternatives under a certain amount, and since it's breakfast it seems unbalanced. Then of course there are very large dishes so maybe it's just a different approach which as an Italian I don't understand. I had some very good pancakes, my partner a Hamburg with fried egg which however was a little overcooked (it was hard). I wouldn't go back. Very very very noisy.

A wonderful start to the day with a hearty English breakfast! The hash browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - a perfect combination with the fried sausages, beans and eggs. The pancakes were particularly convincing: airy and light, whether sweet with fresh berries or with bacon, cheese and fried eggs and maple syrup. Kudos to the kitchen for the preparation. Everything was perfectly rounded off by the friendly and attentive service.

Menù molto vario, noi abbiamo optato per il classico brunch con pancake, uova e bacon ma vi erano davvero tante opzioni per tutti i gusti: dagli avocado toast, al salmone fino ai classici pancake con condimento dolce.

It took about 45 minutes to get the food and it was cold. It took about 15 minutes to get my first coffee. At which point my order was still not taken. Five minutes later someone finally decided to take my order. Another 30 minutes later my food arrived from wherever there kitchen is in a dumbwaiter that was completely full of orders that, presumably like mine, had been sitting there getting cold. I ordered another latte. It took 10 minutes. This place sucks.

Great buzz and lovely service, but the pancakes only had a slither of butter on them, while the eggs Bénédicte were on a slightly stale muffin and with very little Hollandaise sauce. Good bacon though.

Visited for a late brunch & didn’t disappoint. The queue was worth the wait, large portions, strong coffee and the best potatoes we’ve ever had! Will definitely be back.

I was recommend this establishment to visit for Breakfast and I was not disappointed. Could not say enough about it.

The chef’s eggs were the best eggs I’ve ever eaten in my life: poached to literally perfection, spicy, tangy, a little sweet from the yoghurt dip and the bread was also perfect. (Only 11 pounds!!)

Great breakfast and service, worth to try

Food was great - we had chicken waffles and salmon on scrambled eggs. Staff were friendly but rather busy and a 12% service fee is added to the bill. Convenient location near Liverpool Street Station, nice food, and decent service.

Nice restaurant with a great relaxed atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone, good vegan and veggie options. I tried the veg breakfast for evening meal, which was great. Would have preferred 2 eggs, but other than that, portion size was great. Added cheeky side of fries. Veggie sausage were some of the best I've ever had. My friend ordered pancakes with veggie bacon and peaches.. it was also great.

Happens to so many great indie brands: as they grow, they dump the vibe which made them great and chase the dollar. The food remains on the good side of ok, but the staff are all clearly now driven to plus-sell by all means necessary. You won't even have sat down and they'll be asking for an order for an early coffee. Serving their beverages luke warm, they know that you'll be wanting a second, small £4 coffee long before your food arrives. Great breakfast restaurants provide fresh water as you arrive - without being asked. Then, as you order, optional extra items are phrased as if they are part of the meal. Order eggs benedict and you'll be asked 'is that with hash browns or fried potatoes'? As if it's an integral option. It's not - it's an additional item, and the tourists fall for it every time. Have been using BC for years but I'll probably leave it to the tourists now.

The restaurant is well-located, large, and only has indoor seating. It’s nicely decorated, and I recommend making a reservation because it’s always busy. We were a group of 7 (without a reservation) and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The service is quick, and the food is delicious. It was really very good. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A buzzy and decent breakfast option. I had breakfast here on a Thursday morning in August, the place was packed. The service was swift, the food was good as was the coffee - a big tick to start the day for me.

Great atmosphere, my husband's food the "All American" was really good but my waffle was made of rubber.

Good breakfast. Everything nice…👀 Only one minor thing, I felt like the waffle was not fresh. It tasted like the ones you buy from Aldi but dry. Like when you try and eat warm paper, you know what I mean ? If you go, avoid waffles at all costs.

Came here for a quick brunch after work and had to wait a small queue at the entrance that's how popular it was! Yummy egg florentine the sauce was tasty!

Staff were really friendly and atmosphere was very relaxed. The food was great as usual, but the portions are small for the price (hence the 4*). I also really like that they serve the tea in a proper mug.

The only quibble is why the toast is sourdough, which makes it impossible to cut. Whole meal or white bread would work better Fantastic none the less

Whether you prefer a traditional breakfast or want to try something new, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. I can only warmly recommend the Breakfast Club and look forward to my next visit.

Great breakfast place full of tasty options. 4 stars only as it get's very loud in there. A bit of sound treatment would make it a lot nicer.

Wonderful venue with the best staff service and food. A huge plus I felt my rucksack had been taken whereas stupid me I had left it on the train. Your wonderful manager rang me and I returned and she had reviewed their CCTV and I had entered without the rucksack. Went to the cleaning crew on Platform 2 and Caspa the head cleaner had my rucksack. To all of you at The Breakfast Club you are just so amazing.

Fabulous spot for some breakfast. Arrived quite early on a Sunday morning and despite the streets being empty, inside breakfast club was a lovely buzzy atmosphere (again, even though there were only about 3 tables occupied). Staff were polite and attentive, always checking if we needed anything else without being pushy. Menu is extensive for breakfast and found myself wanting 3 different options but decided on a berry pancake stack (can't remember the exact name) and it was delicious. Lots of cream, strawberries were very sweet, tasted like freshly picked British strawberries and the pancakes themselves were lovely and fluffy. Inside is very nicely decorated. Can't fault a thing, next time we are in London will definitely be back. Maybe they could pop up in Manchester next 👍🏼

Tasty breakfast had by the whole family. Really good veggie options , decent portions. Good atmosphere and very cool mixed clientele. Lovely sausages , bacon and not too American for my tastes though.

Lovely and popular place. There was a bit of a queue but we were seated within 10mins so that wasn’t too bad. Had salmon with pouched eggs. 🤤 was very good. Staff was busy but kept friendly.

We arrived from Germany today and decided to have breakfast here. The woman who served us was incredibly nice and helpful, the food was great, as were the drinks. The ambience was a bit loud, but still very pleasant and nicely decorated. We'd love to come back!

Visited here for the first time. It has rustic and attractive aesthetics. For the food they do and the portion size I believe it is fairly expensive. I had the Chefs special which was 2 poached eggs with sour dough, greek yoghurt and sliced aubergine (about 4 slices or so) for £11. The portion size was on the small side and this did not fill me up however it was tasty.

Service was excellent, food was OK. Note that the place is noisy Tip : ask for your fresh juice with no ice

Good and service were great. A bit noisy but I guess is fine for a Saturday morning mood. Vegetable milk option was only oat milk.

They received us quite well, they even allowed us to leave our suitcases in a place so that it would be uncomfortable. As for the food, pretty good, very tasty, they serve quickly. Prices for the area are quite correct.

Went there for a short pancake dinner. Even though the palace was not crowded, it took over 15 minutes to get the food... Having a conversation was out of the question: the noise level was overbearing. We sat across each other on the table, and couldn't hear one another :-( The food was tasty. Too many ice cubes in the juice.

It is a good place to start the day, the service is good and they have a wide variety of breakfasts.

Asked at the start they we were there for the milkshakes. Staff sat us down and then send they had everything except milkshakes. Ordered drinks instead. The Breakfast Negroni was very odd, the “Mai Tai” was just juice, and they upcharged our mimosa when we asked for a standard. Also did not appreciate the mandatory service charge that was snuck on to the charge.
