The only thing I could fault is no breakfast available

Had my 60th birthday party on 29th December. Absolutely everything was perfect including the delicious stovies. Thank you highly recommend

Went in for food and coffee Absolutely amazing great value for money.

Friendly staff, good pub food, a decent pint of Guinness (or two) and let me watch the football on the telly. Thank you.

Turned up out of the blue after a long day travelling on 26th sept. Was greeted at the bar by a very friendly chap who we assume was the landlord. Room 2 was available for us and a table booked for us to join their curry night within a few minutes of our arrival. The room was warm and spotlessly clean and had everything required for our stay. Chicken bhuna was lovely and all the staff were very friendly including the landlady who was overseeing the evenings service. Bed really comfortable and a nice powerful shower to wake us up in the morning. Will definitely be back Thank you for your hospitality Steve and Sara (south wales)

Rooms definitely need TLC.A lot of areas needs painting.For £85 you would have thought a breakfast would have been included or the option to pay but by the looks breakfast wasn't available to anyone.

Comfortable clean rooms in a quiet location great nights sleep. Staff went above and beyond letting us preorder our meal on the Saturday night to accommodate us. Food really tasty and fabulous gluten free options and kids meals available. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend. 😊

Did not use hotel only bar. Food was very good however soft drinks were a bit expensive

We've been on a bike ride around Scotland and arrived after the kitchen was closed. But Loni the Bar Maid gave us plates and forks to eat a take away and the service was spot on. The rooms were clean and very comfortable I'd highly recommend staying here. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay and eat. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely and warm too....The staff are soo friendly....This is our favourite place to stay everytime we visit Scotland.

Great tasty pub food with friendly staff, great drinks. Best local pub in forres for good food and drinks. And a roaring Fire.

There for an organised childs birthday party, buffet & drinks, was a very good day for the kids, soft play, games etc, staff were very attentive. Will go back to try the restaurant.

Good standard of accomodation and friendly staff

The food and staff are great. Nothing too much trouble. Plenty of room in the restaurant area. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed

In Scotland for a family wedding stayed at Carisbrooke for a week

Well thought out menu, good staff, very good atmosphere, and an outdoor play area for children.

Nice and clean great shower very comfy beds big car park easy to find

Great customer service. Great food. Kids play area to keep them busy while waiting for dinner. Pool table, dog friendly.

Steak pie was delicious and the Toffee Apple crumble was very very nice too. We were there for Mothers day treat as we all live locally so no idea about rooms etc. Food was excellent though.

Excellent stay once again, place is emmculate. Staff are amazing and very friendly and the food was 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Had a great stay yet again, immaculately clean room.. (are the double beds new because even though it was very clean and comfy it seemed quite high and narrow) . ....Very pleasant and friendly staff as always ...Delicious food ... Thankyou we will be back again soon.

Didn’t know this place even existed but I was glad to find a lovely bar in Forres. Food was brilliant too and the beer was the best pint I’ve had in Forres. Will definitely be back 👍🍔🍻

We've stayed at the Carisbrooke before and had no hesitation coming back. The rooms are bright, clean and basic, but in a good way! We had dinner, drinks and a nice breakfast. The boss and his wife are really nice and very friendly. Worth noting that dogs are welcome, which will also suit us for future trips. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Carisbrooke!

Seems to be a very popular hotel. Live in the same street and it gets lots of customers. Family run.

We had a nice stay at the Carisbrooke. The staff were lovely and we had a delicious breakfast! The bed was comfortable and clean, and the room was fairly clean as well. Nothing fancy but no complaints!

This place was one of the worst "hotels" stayed at. To begin, they charged my card twice and didn't even apologise for that. They refunded me but I lost money in transaction fees and conversation exchanges which they provided no compensation for despite their mistake. The room had flies buzzing all over it but besides that was fine in terms of cleanliness. The shower and bath did not have hot water or decent water pressure. It was impossible to shower or bathe. There wasn't even enough water pressure to wash the suds off of your body. As well, the toilet took over an hour to fill the basin meaning two people cannot use the bathroom within an hour of each other. The restaurant was also closed for the entirety of our stay which they neglected to inform us about at the booking stage. We only found out when we got here and the nearest restaurant is about a 15-20 minute walk. As well, check out is by 10 am but the main building (reception) was closed when we tried to check out (9am) and there's no way to contact the hotel. We tried calling but nobody picked up, as well the email available isn't a valid email. This was a miserable stay and I would highly discourage anyone from staying here. I would recommend something closer to the city centre maybe the River House bnb or the Ramnee. I haven't stayed there myself but my friends who did say they had a much better experience.

This is my second visit to Carisbrooke we stayed 3 night and had a great time…The accommodation was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable it was just perfect for us two oldies and our two dogs….thank you

I was here at a family wedding reception. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The decor was lovely and the catering was out of this world, delicious. Definitely worth a trip for a drink meal and a game of pool. Fantastic family beer garden with something to keep the kids amused too

Extremely clean, basic and extremely comfortable small Motel with extremely friendly staff who love doggies and made us so welcome. We will definitely be back soon. This is now our go to place when visiting Forres, would not consider anywhere else.

Went there first with a large group and family dog. Then later as a couple for lunch. This place doesn't disappoint. Dogs allowed, good variety of beers (try the raspberry beer!), good, interesting menu and the good is very good in large portions.
