I have to write a review in the hopes that as many people as possible read it and go to this little gem of a place. My husband looked online for a fish and chip shop that did gluten free as for months I haven't been able to have them and came across The Catch, and what a find!! The staff of this family run business are all so lovely, professional and friendly. We both had gluten free fish, chips with peas and a pot of white tea with mango to share. The meal was piping hot when it arrived at our table and was delicious; the batter on the fish was the best I have ever tasted, crispy and not greasy and the fish was cooked perfectly. All in all, lovely food, great staff and very good value for money. I strongly recommend you all try this awesome fish and chip shop!! 🙂

This food is amazing, they cater for gluten and vegan, very attentive, polite and presentable, best food from a chippy in a long time. Lovely couple who run it too. Thanks folks will be back soon.

We were looking for somewhere to eat when we first arrived in Kings Lynn. How fortunate we were when we stumbled on The Catch Chip Shop Restaurant and takeaway. We were looked after so well. The fish and chips were to die for. The fish melted in your mouth. We will definitely visit again if we are in this area

So I want to start by saying staff are friendly I popped in for takeaway was told there is a restaurant so I thought I would sit in the restaurant. There was no prompt action to tell anyone including myself to do track and trace. No staff were wearing masks not 1! Despite it being a indoor setting. The food was great without a doubt some of the best I have had in the town and genuinely lovely staff but no Covid regulations are being adhered to. There was a young man behind the counter who was awfully loud sounded almost drunk. And what's with the electric scooter in the restaurant doesn't look good. Yea it's clean and tidy and I would visit again if improvements were made.

Revamped and new owner. Easy access, light and airy. Easy access. Well designed seating, wheelchair friendly. Staff efficient and friendly. The best bit, the fish. I had cod which was lovely white flesh, skin removed, and batter to die for. It was light and very crispy. Only been opened a couple of weeks, but when people find it they will look forward to good value, excellent quality and will look no further. Offer senior citizens menu,

I’m afraid our visit quite didn’t live up to expectations following recommendations. There wasn’t a friendly welcome upon arrival and having to wait some time to be shown to our table (our booking was increased from 2 people to 6) after being seated we waited the best part of ten minutes for our drinks and food order to be taken. When asking for fruit shoots for the kids we were told they don’t serve them so the kids had to have large glasses of juice only for us to see the table next to us be served fruit shoots. Service was slow and not greatly attentive, appearing slightly understaffed. The waitresses seemed confused by who was covering which area / tables and not visiting certain areas often enough, so much so opportunities were missed by not offering if we wanted more drinks etc. Again after waiting to ask for the bill we gave up and went to the bar to be ignored by a number of staff when trying to pay the bill. Given all of the above the food was really good and so we are likely to try it again. It was just a shame the service didn’t match up. Hopefully next time this will be improved.

We were recommended here by our Airbnb host and it did not disappoint. Headline: Food was amazing. We had ‘Mega breakfasts’ which were very generous and the hand made sausages were sublime. Price point was spot on for a beach café. It was absolutely heaving when we visited, the secret is out! But we just about managed to find a table and enjoy our wonderful meals. 4* because it is possibly TOO dog friendly. One table of four was taken up by a lady with two dogs (who had a chair each) as well as a buggy for the dogs. The lady didn’t have an order (only the dogs) but this party left a family eating off plates while standing up. Also the Wi-Fi was out of service,
