Went there before the England / South Africa game and they seated eight of us. Meal was superb we s had starters and the soltani dish was brilliant. Service was good, toilets very clean. Staff good and efficient and friendly with advice and good value. Excellent value for money and we were full, thank you.

Dariush was and friendly and welcoming host and recommended the most delicious dishes for us. We had the most delicious stews, garlic naan with amazing aubergine dip and the portions were very generous. We have taken the rest home in a doggy bag. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and and food is absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I came here with friends and we had a lovely time. The atmosphere was so good, the service was great. Nice, friendly and attentive staff and not to mention the food was amazing! I definitely recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

Food was delicious, service was amazing and it was my sisters birthday and they played a fun song and brought out a cake for no extra charge! 10/10 will defo come again :)

Just had a dinner with friends. Amazing food, very friendly service, we felt so welcome here! Babaganush was great, mixed grill for 4 is really good value for money, kebab Torsh is absolutely delicious, meat was marinated in pomegranate sauce and was so tender! Will be back

The driver told me you forgot my tip! First time I came across this, I felt embarrassed. Please remind your drivers whoever wants to pay tip will pay. They shouldn’t ask the customers for a tip.

The food is really good Quality u get what u pay for the service is amazing their all really professional and polite overall i give the food and the service a 10/10 its amazing.

One star. One chilli sauce. For four meat dishes. This was after leaving a note for at least four . Rang them,never answered,never called back. Pathetic . They will be getting the meat back tomorrow . As a business owner i am often called about fake reviews being added to my profile !!

We ordered takeaway from here. The food was to die for. I got the koobideh wrap and Fatoush and my partner got some prawns, garlic naan and a chicken wrap. No notes, all delicious! My partner went to collect and said the service was great and people very nice. Please get out there and support their business!

the chicken wraps I order for take away are fantastic. All the breads are fresh and made in front of you (I'd go just for these!) and the marinated chicken is delicious. A hidden little gem with lovely service too.

Always had good food from this place but this time the quality wasn’t there. Not sure if they’ve changed their chef. Hopefully they improve it soon

Not great flavours. The side salad was an old, the cucumber clearly macerated with the dressing.

We found this restaurant simply because they have a bread oven in the window which is very rare indeed. A free taster of their wonderful garlic Persian bread had us hooked and we came back in the evening! Amazing food… hot and cold starters were extraordinary and the grilled chicken and lamb in the mixed grill are the best I have eaten outside of the Middle East. Cave restaurant lives up to its name in a good fun way regarding decor and the staff are generous, helpful and attentive.

Try it once and you won’t be disappointed, best food for all kinds of likings, friendly staff, very clean, and best of all, everything is made fresh, we had3 different kinds of kebab and they were all delicious, even the bread is made fresh before being served. A Must try.

I've just had the worst vegetarian food for 30 years - a plate of black mush tasting like school cabbage smelled in the 60s, laced with an acrid ingredient or just overcooked. There wasn't anything distinguishable in it and no taste of vegetables. Seeing I hadn't eaten much the owner came over and explained that it's a Persian stew that normally would have lamb in it. Well that might have improved it. The starter of humous was OK, bit bland but very nice fresh bread. My friends said their meat and fish dishes were OK. But £16 for the cat-sick stew and rice? I won't be back.

Best in the whole of the UK staff are respectful and kind food is authentic and cooked to perfection don't bother with any of the restaurants by the river or Richmond if you want the perfect meal come here you will not be disappointed

Our first visit to the Cave, which proved to be a good experience. We were attracted by the excellent location and the appealing menu choices in this unashamedly Middle Eastern property. The food was well presented with friendly helpful service. Sadly we were the only people dining during this particular service which meant the venue lacked atmosphere. However, a very good option if you’re in St. Margaret’s, and we will return again in the future.

I went for lunch with a colleague, the place was empty, I am sure it's nicer when it's full from an atmosphere perspective. But the food was soooo good. Really delicious.

A regular restaurant for me as the food is wonderfully fresh and we enjoy a selection of the starters to share as a Mezza style meal. Nothing is ever too much trouble and a lot of the choices are fine for those who are Gluten Free. A family run restaurant with a great atmosphere. Thank you!

Beautifully fresh ingredients. Always a highly enjoyable meal. With a variety of hot and cold starters it's perfect for a meze style meal. Will return time and time again and with lots of gluten free choices. The owners are so friendly and a lovely 'family run' style restaurant.

A cozy atmosphere, outstanding Persian cuisine in London with excellent hospitality. Very delicious and high quality Persian kebab, arguably the best in london. If you walk around twickenham or Richmond area and fancy a great dinner, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried had flavor and was cooked perfectly. Mix grill is highly recommended for double and battered. The female waitress was very polite and the environment was absolutely beautiful and cozy. Some of the best food I've had recently!

Amazing food, definitely I will order again

We have eaten here two or three times and we love it. I have no prior knowledge of Persian Cuisine. The portions are large, the wine is reasonably priced and tastes great. The dishes we had included sausage, hummus, chicken, lamb shank, rice flavoured with pomegranate. The staff are extremely nice - our waiter was Darius, but occasionally the cook would come up from downstairs. Very highly recommended.

The food here is simply amazing. Had a takeaway on Saturday night and every mouthful was just delicious. The chicken was so tender, the rice was so soft and the homemade bread could be eaten again and again. Portions are such a decent size too. Will be visiting again and bringing all my friends. Can’t recommend the food enough!

I only eat kubbideh in persian. Thier kubbideh is fantastic. If they want suggesstion i would say instead of pickled chilli grilled pepper will taste better with kubideh.

Mother's day treat from my son. The restaurant is a stone's throw away from St Margaret station. Interesting interior, cosy atmosphere. The service is very friendly. We've tried cold and hot starters then mixed grills. Cave has a traditional oven by the window, and every bread was hand baked in there. I find their wine list is quite reasonable.

Disappointed with the baby lamb (dry and chewy), also there is no need for such a large portion of rice. Lovely at mosphere and staff. Aubergine starter and bread was v good.

We had the pleasure of dining at cave restaurant, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The menu is with a wide range of Persian foods options to choose, the dishes are not just only beautiful but also bursting with flavour, the service was excellent, the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the foods they were serving.
