Went for a Sunday roast and for £8.50 I wasn't disappointed. Roast pork, roast potatoes, two large Yorkshire pudding, leeks, brocolli, red cabbage and gravy. Couldn't eat any more and Cheryl, Tasha and Erin make you feel more than welcome. Thanks again x

Popped into the Charcoal burner and had the chefs signature cottage pie. Absolutely deelish and cooked to perfection. The staff as always were very polite and welcoming especially James.

We visited this Pub despite reading some concerning previous reviews. However we are pleased to say all our four Sunday Roasts were excellent. Food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Very reasonably priced. With many thanks Sue and friends.

This pub is a typical neighbourhood pub in other words a lot of the customers, look like Wetherspoons clientele who couldn't manage to get there. Appalling language from the punters and the bar staff. Not a good idea to take a lady ibto this place. Beer available is fine. Probably will not visit again.

Went for drink in what used to be my local (moved away 10 years ago) and the guy at the bar looked at me like he'd like to kill me. "What you want mate"? Like I was insulting him for being in there. No politeness or friendliness, almost hostile. I had my drink and left soon after. Why would anyone want to drink in there?

Nice pub friendly atmosphere. Good for a chat something to eat and a drink . The pub is a independent and does not have the massive resources of a group , It is serving the community no more no less

Awful cutomer service, awful language used in the public house by both the customers and the staff. Instantly rude upon arrival. The toilets were very dirty with traces of drugs in the loos. Quite possibly the worst pub i have ever been to and will never return there again.

Whenever I visit the UK to visit family, we always visit this local pub.The food is so reasonable, very pleasant staff. They have recently introduced a lunch menu for the over 60's (that's me) @ four pounds, such incredible value. There is also a sort of informal book-swap /library with some excellent choices. The landlord also does the cooking! A very pleasant spot.

I’ve never had a bad pizza from here. The girl always tries to find the best deal for you and the food always arrives like the oven is outside your house. The toppings are always very generous and make dominoes and the hut pizzas look like Tesco value pizzas! I cannot fault the food or the staff in any way whatsoever. 10/10

Quick trip to UK. Nice enough food for a massive intl. hotel chain based in an airport terminal, but there was an exceptional waiter called RAJ who absolutely rocked it. Worked his arse off and really needs some recognition. Well done!

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. some of the best food I’ve had recently.Spacially( lamb chops)They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way.The poneer tikka and nan bread was especially memorable. Must try

There is a real struggle to justify £26.15 spent here. The tuna melt was barely filled and just had an overriding taste of canned tuna brine. Bread was soft and panini was warm but really, that is the bare minimum to expect! The chicken milanese panini was ok, very thin bit of chicken and some weird stodgy bits with tiny bits of bacon. Cheese melted was just greasy, solidified and flavourless. Chips were ok for frozen chips. Best tasting item was the coke zero.
