Stopped there while out on a cycle ride. Pointed to and ordered what I thought was the last piece of a lemon drizzle cake. Disappointingly, they cut that in half!

This is fantastic place to stop while out riding. The food and service are superb. There is also a decent shop/workshop downstairs stocking all essential kit you need while out riding.

We've visited this cafe a few times and it's lovely: as others have said, the coffee and cakes are good, the bacon rolls are amazing - I asked for the bacon to be crispy and that's how it was, without being burned. We arrived at a busy time and the staff were working really hard to turn round so many orders. It's good to see a venture like this succeeding! We look forward to nex time.

Decent cafe, good quality food, fairly cheap prices for the area and a good positive vibe! Staff friendly and care about their customers, exactly how it should be

A really nice purpose-built cafe out in the countryside with very friendly staff. It has an open feel to the seating indoors and at the back there is a good amount of outdoor seating, with most under cover. The view is of a tree filled valley and is pleasant rather than spectacular. With a bicycle workshop in the basement and pictures of professional cycle races on the wall, this is primarily a cyclists' cafe, but is also frequented by walkers and people who drive and use the small car park. Cycle parking is at the back, via the path by the right of the building, and comprises scaffold poles doubling up as the boundary fencing. We regularly cycle here and enjoy the very good coffee (caffinated and decaf) and oat milk. There are plenty of cakes and we have the gluten-free vegan flapjack which is excellent. They also serve plenty of hot and cold savour dishes but we've not tried any so can't comment.

I've watched and followed the story of this cafe and bike shop throughout lockdown from build to opening so I was really pleased to be driven here by a friend today. I will be running or walking next time. Lovely location between Hawridge and Cholesbury close to some fabulous cycling routes. Super friendly staff, Tour de France on the big screen, both indoor and outdoor seating. Non cyclists are welcomed as are doggy friends. Coffee and cakes, great bacon and egg baps, salads. Repair shop, bike shop downstairs. Great loo too!

We are regulars at The Kitchen Larder and Rachel and the team have continued to maintain their very high standards. Most food is locally grown or sourced and is of a very high quality. We normally order and collect to eat at home and can recommend the Smoked Avo, Salmon and egg salad! We have also used the Kitchen Larder for Corporate Catering and the food selection and presentation was outstanding. The KL also has a stunning selection of small scale producer sourced foods. A must visit if you are a visitor to the Chalfonts.

We booked for my birthday, a usual clash with Christmas festivities, the team ensured there was no overlap and the birthday acknowledged. The roasts were plentiful and all enjoyed, extra gravy added to soak up the huge Yorkshire pudding. Apple crumble and custard was lovely, though we had food envy when we saw the huge puffy souffle's being delivered to diners on a nearby table. Our main server was efficient, pleasant and helpful, keeping on top of the busy dining room. Thank you for a wonderful visit, you're now on our No.1 list for Sunday Roasts, but also keen to try other items from the menu. Drink options were plentiful. Best wishes, Debbie

Fast becoming my favourite coffee shop in Chesham. The staff are friendly and attentive, the environment I'd describe as urban chic . ..Oh, and the coffee? Divine.
