Asked for some tap water as passing on a run, lady asked if I was a “customer” - I said no and she looked like I’d asked for the moon on a stick!! Well it’s 100% made sure I will never be one! Jeez what’s up with folk?! Sad times when water is at a premium 😳🙄

This place is a cracking little find right on the Kirklees Greenway part of The National Cycle Network NCN66. Open daily 9am to 3pm throughout summer. Closed on Monday's Oct to Mar. Coffee is fab as are the bacon sandwiches and breakfasts. Staff and owner are really friendly. Great service, I can highly recommend this place! Well worth the five stars!

We called in the cafe for breakfasts. Children's breakfast is free if you buy an adult breakfast, that is the one star. The sausages are luke warm and cheap quality. Black pudding is hard and inedible and the bacon is undercooked. The eggs are left under a heating light so are rubbery and inedible. Toast is OK but that is the only decent part the other items were luke warm . Don't bother find another place to each
