cannot find fault with the crispy cod. freshly prepared, hot & tasty. friendly delivery too!

Lovely food, portions were massive!

As always piping hot cooked to perfection never been disappointed by crispy cod

Food overall was lovely however I ordered prawn crackers and did not receive them and I ordered a beef satay and got chicken.

This takeaway should be a restaurant as it’s restaurant quality! Absolutely amazing! The chicken and sweet corn soup is to die for! It’s a meal in itself! Huge portions, the Greek dishes are delicious! Best take away in Merseyside! Delivery is always on time and piping hot!

Due 19:25. AT 19:30 app said delivered, enjoy/rate. We HAD NO FOOD. Called shop 19:45 told just left/on way, delivered message was an app problem?

Chips wasn’t fresh and smelled weird, i bin the whole box. I also got sweet and sour chicken which was fine but still had same smell. I think it’s because of the oil.

Food didnt taste how it should the oil being used has clearly been used to cook everything as my chips tasted of spring rolls

Order arrived on time..but, the chips were missing..I phoned and was told they would be sent straight out. Waited 30 mins and phoned again..told they would be there 'any minute'. Another 10 mins passed before it arrived! We are only 2.1 miles away.

Ordered food at 5.20pm and arrived at 7.10pm and food was cold so we had to re heat the food will never order from here again

never again shredded chilli beef sauce was nice then beef was vile salt and pepper ribs inedible as they was drier than the Sahara impossible to swallow the fried rice is boiled rice bland no flavour at all the only thing I did like was the chips so basically paid £45 for chips NRVER AGAIN!!!!

The food was really nice, the chicken is no longer the processed stuff that most Chinese restaurants use, but proper chicken. The food came early, but even though early it wasn't very hot

Food was delivered earlier than time stated. Delivery guy was pleasant and well mannered. Food was hot and tasty.

I have fish and my boyfriend has burgers. They have both. A one stop shop. Staff are lovely and friendly. Service is excellent got our order right first time. A regular stop for us.

Really disappointed with food quality and taste. Non of the vegetables was fried in chop suey dish. They taste like someone would boil them in the very watery souse without proper spices, and then mix with meat. Fried rice was so un-fried that in the beginning I thought that my order was mixed up, and they gave me a boiled rice. Good side is that portion was huge, but taste throw me off finishing it.

Horrible food I ordered cheese chips paid for extra beans didn’t get them the chips and cheese is all warmed up so unpleasant to eat went in bin £8 for that got a chip barm pathetic excuse hardly any chips all brown chips barm wasn’t even buttered just fell apart gravy was all spicy for some reason I usually love chippy won’t order from here again !

ordered cheese and onion pie, got meat and potato. chicken was a little chewy and didn't taste great if I'm honest. the other items we ordered was just ok.

Like the fish and chips give it a 3 star fish was a bit too greasy The staff seemed pleasant. The only bad thing they over do the customer service and it gets a bit clingy and the girls look to scared to move.

Char sui won ton noodle soup is one of the best i have ever had and the sui mais where delicious

Very nice food and super quick delivery but the portions are small so I would recommend a meal for each person. £8.25 for 8 small pieces of chicken was a lot but the quality of the food was good.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Really not sure what has happened to this chippy recently however it used to be good. There has been three occasions now where food hasn’t been up to its usual standards however the most recent experience I’ve had has made me make sure ill never be returning to this chippy, On a couple of occasions food has been either soggy, over cooked or just seemed old and at first I thought it couldn’t be old food however I went to collect food from here on Monday night and got chicken and sweetcorn soup, prawn crackers and balaclavas as a sweet treat. Got home and the soup was Aluminous yellow! I thought weird but I’m starving so I’ll still eat it. Then I went to have my sweet treat and as I opened the box the pistachios were covered in furry green mold. Took them back and the woman serving me was adamant that I was wrong and it’s “normal “ because pistachios are green. Fury mold and a green pistachio are drastically different. I left the shop and went home as I live 5 minutes away. Got home and within 30 minutes of finishing my chicken and sweetcorn soup I was projectile vomiting for the whole night and considering it’s the only food item I had consumed all day its definitely come from this grubby and grimey chippy. WILL NEVER BE COMING HERE AGAIN! STAY CLEAR

I bought a crispy cod and they gave it to me.

The food is ok couple of things i wasnt happy with tonight was the over cooked meat spring rolls and i ordered Donner Meat, Chips & Sauce Salad, Hot Chilli which i didnt get thay sent every thing else but the chips.

Just rang to place a £40 order, got shouted at by the staff answering the phone just for ringing and told I couldn’t place an order because they were busy. If you can’t stand the heat stay out of the kitchen, poor customer service won’t be ordering from here again even though I know the food is good.

Stumbled across this place the other day as we were working round the corner from it wow the price for the meal we got was amazing and the food was 110% as well we then called back the day after and we weren’t disappointed food and staff and price was excellent will definitely be calling in again when working round this way

Would give 0 stars, but no option for that. Ordered online at 7:30pm. A treat for my family (something we don't do much as we don't have a lot of spare money) £60 and 1hr 15min later, 3 items of our order turn up. The rest drove away before we could get the drivers attention. Rang the shop and they would ask the driver to bring the order. 15 mins later, no order and the other items cold. Rang shop to be told the whole order would be redone and sent. 2hrs 30mins later, order arrives, but guess what? Not all order there. A sweet and sour meal and rice missing. Chips cold. Veg spring rolls soggy. I've sat here and not eaten, apologising to my children for the crap on their plates, which has now gone into the bin. Now 10:30pm and we're all hungry, upset and angry. Always use to be nice but haven't been there for nearly a year (like i said, it was a treat) Wished I'd read the other complaints on here before ordering. Annoyed that I wasted £60.

First time customer I ordered at half 7, food showed up at 9pm (45 mins late with no notification of delay) Soggy spring rolls, barely cooked chips. Gutted as I had heard good reviews

Tasty as always and piping hot. Great i can order proper chips and curry for disabled daughter as she has to have things soft to eat. Fries are a no go as too hard which most chip shops do now. Delivery friendly.

Rang up tonight to make an order only to be told to ring back in 15 minutes as they are ‘extremely busy’, why not just take the order and delay it, what a ridiculous thing to say when you are a takeaway restaurant. I wanted to ring directly to avoid going through Just Eat or similar, I wish I hadn’t of bothered now. I rang back again to order and they just put the phone down on me.

Best chippy I’ve had in a long while. 10/10

Usually amazing here but the salad was missing off the kebab and only got a small chips instead of the regular chips ordered so a bit disappointing. Kebab nice but not the same without the fresh and delicious salad you get here and very one tracked just meat and bread. Was a collection order so only noticed when home. Couldn’t drive back to sort as food would go cold.

Crispy cod is usually excellent food, but yesterday nights delivery was awful. The chicken rice was undercooked and the ribs were cooked so much the meat was hard and not chewable. The food was flung in the container and container was not sealed so leaked all over the bag. I don’t know if they have new staff who just cannot be assed, but the meal was awful. Ashame because crispy cod was my favourite take out. Will give it one more try if food is bad then I won’t order again

ABYSMAL. Really bad tonight. Hardly any duck in the duck fried rice. Rice was white with a big egg in not even broken up. Chips pale and soggy. No sauce for the won Tons so had to eat them dry. Salt and pepper wings , tasteless and soggy. Asked for some soya sauce too this was ignored. Are from here loads and it’s always good , awful tonight , binned it all aside from the won tons , worst take away I’ve had for a long long time ,

Moved back to St Helens in December 23 heard loads of bad reviews about how much it had changed …. Let me tell you all I’ve been in tonight Donna meat and chips 10/10 Spam fritter best in st Helen’s and prescot by far specials mouth watering curry sauce up there with the best All the staff where exceptional but big praise and shout out to Philly what a guy professional but loves the banter 🤣 defo be going back top service top food top place 5⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chicken Pineapple and Fried Rice was excellent, daughter said her Chicken Nuggets where nice too, winner!

Usually top notch but chips undercooked and sweet chilli beef far too spicy...Will still order but disappointed today

Couldn’t fault the food but pre-ordered for 18:00, food arrived at 16:50 far too early then a second order came at 17:30 which is hadn’t ordered and was still too early! Hopefully just one off mistake.

Awful chips and fish.. needs fat changing .. overpriced. please advertise when last changed fat..
