The Derry in Stockton-on-Tees

Had a Crispy chicken burger and fries and my sister had a parmesan. She only got a half parmesan and still couldn’t finish it. Portions are perfect. Lovely staff and environment. Absolutely adore the winter wonderland outside and in. Will be back shortly😄

Popped in the off chance and noticed the winter wonderland. Absolutely beautiful! We both had an ‘all day breakfast’ and it hit the spot perfectly. The staff were wonderful and it was a quick service. It was that good we forgot to take a picture. Will be returning very shortly🥰

Had a lovely special tandoori chicken on flatbread. There was loads of chicken and fresh salad really tasty a lot for one person definitely go again delicious

Absolutamente hermosa comida, personal y servicio increíbles, ambiente brillante y muy bien administrado. Definitivamente voy a ser un regreso regular el Derry no me decepcionó!

Visité el Derry en octubre y tenía un Parmo increíble. Pociones generosas y encantadoras y pollo tierno. Este lugar es precioso y la reciente renovación es fantástica. Fuimos a tomar algo la semana pasada y las decoraciones navideñas son increíbles. Encantador que realmente están haciendo un esfuerzo y estoy deseando traer a mis nietos a ver el país de las maravillas de invierno.

Gorgeous food. Ample portions. Value for money. Good service. What more can I say- definitely recommended for food and the owner is a lovey person who takes time to chat with customers x

First time I had eaten here in a few years. I ordered hunters chicken which I have eaten several times before. I did not know that the recipe had changed to include a pineapple ring among the ingredients!! Totally unnecessary and also unacceptable. I stopped eating when I seen the pineapple ring under the sauce, it was a blessing that I didn't have an allergic reaction towards this fruit!!

Possibly the worst meals the 4 of us have ever had. My beef stew was really awful quite how the gravy managed to be like thick tasteless goo is beyond me. 2 in party had pie which also came with the revolting ‘gravy’ and 3rd person had Parmo which was very tough. Service took ages and the waitress couldn’t have been less interested when we complained. After returning my stew uneaten the landlord did subtract the £15 but only when challenged. Obviously will not return very disappointing it used to serve really nice food but not anymore I’m afraid.

Would recomend! Loved the pigs in blanket parmo! Family friendly pub, warm and welcoming from all staff.

Fancied a nice Sunday lunch and as we went there’ a few weeks ago we thought we would try it again and it was delicious we will definitely be returning
