Friendly staff, well priced drinks, free pool during the week and sports. A nice pub to visit on our trip to Salisbury.

Went here with my brother over Christmas and had an excellent time, staff and customers were so friendly and they can serve a good pint, can't wait until I return, a great example of a traditional local pub.

A great, 'local' pub. Fantastic on a Sunday evening, Meat draw, followed by "Card Bingo". The man behind the bar is hilarious, with bad language, with piss taking. Enter at your peril.

Great little locals pub. Not into sport myself but they always have matches on the TV and it's cheaper pints when football is on.

Pool is separated from darts. A place finally in Salisbury where you can play in the evenings if you don't fancy the darts. Table in great condition, good clues.

Tried to order online and the order was showing as pending and were not sure if the order had gone through. Walked to the store to check, told the order had not gone through. Out through the order for us and cost £7 more than before despite still collecting . Questioned why (despite the man serving having seen our attempts to order with pending card payments) and would not honour the same price. Was unhelpful, rude and charged us more for the exact same thing. We are returning customers but won’t be returning this time as the service was not good. Just to add , despite them reassuring us that our original order had not gone through, upon checking the bank account a few days later , we were actually charged twice for the meal after all.

I was expecting the garden centre to be a bit pricey, but items were good value and I got some real bargains. The cafe was busy but well run, and the first half was dog-friendly, I meant to ask if it was just for the winter, as the sign at the entrance said no dogs in the cafe. The staff were friendly and efficient. The patisserie was a nice surprise, can recommend the honey layer cake!
