Delightful dinner, superb & good value menu, excellent service, nothing not to like. Mia on reception was extremely helpful. Looking forward to a return.

Very simply - if I lived in Harrogate, this would be my local. Friendly staff and friendly customers. Excellent Cask Ales. Music but not intrusive. Dog-friendly. All round lovely pub. Credit to all.

I visited this excelent locals real ale pub on saturday 5th February 2022 This great real ale pub served a good amount of real ale and cider and has great ambuance inside Great place to visit before a Harrogate Tonf football game Saturday 23rd March 2024 We visited this really good real ale pub it was football orientated today it had a great range of real ales on, and the pub is an old-fashioned interior to it. Keep up the good work all Saturday 28th September 2024 Again, we visited this really good real ale bar on the way to Harrogate Towns football ground to watch the mighty Bantams. This pub is a friendly locals real ale pub that always must be visited to drink real ale when in Harrogate My last write ups on here still suffice

Had a great time here. Was recommended as a great dog friendly pub with great beer options and fab pizza. They weren’t wrong. Can’t recommend enough! Lovely staff and customers!

Small local pub, bit run down, but ok.

Great range of drinks, friendly staff and fab atmosphere, not too expensive too!! Get down to the open mic night, first Wednesday of each month, cracking night!!

Popped in for a swift half with a friend as we were passing by and had a lovely chat with landlord and landlady about different beer and craft cans. Made to feel very welcome, and wonderful atmosphere also done a great job with the place hadn't been in for over 7

Nice pub with open fire. We were staying for 3 nights and this was the nearest pub to our guest house. It was full of the locals who were all friendly. Bar staff were nice and professional. Prices were also reasonable including good bar snacks

Great Pub on the fringes of Harrogate, lots of ‘unusual’ Ales including Kirin Ichiban which was superb. The staff were pleasant and helpful, dogs are allowed (biscuits available) and there is a takeaway 50 yards away for some post beer snap, all in all well worth a visit

Quality local, less than 30 seconds away. Great, friendly staff (especially Courteney & Ali), a quality range of drinks, especially gins (Harrogate prices unfortunately) and 2 inside/outside smoking rooms. Plus a range of highly random board games, quiz nights, and live music Wednesdays. Haven't eaten here, except from the excellent range of bar snacks, and I mean really good range with some classics thrown in, but I hear the pizzas are good. Extremely dog-friendly with free bar-dog treats at the bar. Highly recommend

Popped in for a pint on the way home from Fully Charged North. Top selection of well-kept ales, and friendly service. Will definitely revisit next time I'm in town!

A very good pub with great beer and a great atmosphere. They really seem to have upped their game in the last six months - probably as good as it's ever been at the moment! Thoroughly recommended!

This is a good local. The clientele is varied and they sometimes have open mic nights (which I avoid). There is always a great selection of craft beer on tap and the little outside nooks are great for pulling into after a run (or for smoking...).

£6.80 a pint 🤣🤣🤣 In reply to your reply the beer I bought was on tap, was average abv and taste, had no price marking and the barmaid had to turn to ask the bar supervisor the price after she poured it. I was shocked but paid as it was already poured. Would be helpful and time saving if your prices were clearly visible.

Called in here for a couple of drinks while staying in the area for a few nights. Seemed to be popular with a few locals although i did see one local lad wince as he was charged 5.90 for a pint.I t is a lot more expensive than my local and i mean a lot more.So back to my base for a few cold ones out the fridge and a sit in the garden.

Nice venue, good product range. Staff / management let it down by not recognising their responsibility for safe guarding patrons from an undesirable and threatening guest. Concerns of one guest about this situation were dismissed by an employee.

Popped in for 1 pint after watching the football last saturday, we stayed for more than 1, i think thats all that needs to be said.

Good beer selection, helpful staff , and good laid back atmosphere.

Loved the ambience, the welcome we got and the staff were great. It's clean and the also offer vegan food on their menu, so that accounts for a lot, especially as the menu isn't huge. It's a locals pub and we were treated as locals and had a great night. Thank you Ellie and Nick.

I love this pub so much. It's my local when I go back home (twice a year) and love the beer and laid back vibe. Met a bunch of friends there for a couple pints and we had a great time.

Nice place but a little expensive

We were taking a little time out to orient ourselves in Harrogate and came across this characterful place. Lovely pint of stout and a tasty half of rhubarb cider for Val.

Selection of great ales for different regions of the world, nice rustic vibe and the staff are pleasant.

Bar tender is excellent here really made the night, she really brings the party. Only intended to stop for one then we were still there at lockup.. Definitely be back

This is a great pub and I can't recommend it enough. Been many times but decided to write a review this time as I can't compliment the staff enough. They have been really great and following the government's guidelines without making it feel over baring.

Amazing atmosphere and the staff are truly so fantastic ❤ anything you need and they are there willing to assist and the precautions and steps taken to maintain a safe Covid-19 environment are above and beyond, I'll certainly visit again 💯

The Devonshire Tap House has an excellent selection of beer (cask and draft), great staff, and is in a very interesting building. I am very happy that they reopened this establishment. This place was previously called 10 Devonshire Place and it was closed in later 2018....

Some excellent beers in here along with a convivial atmosphere. Both the girls serving on were very pleasant and up for a laugh. Food also served but we didn't eat.

Lovely pub on stray which has a really nice bar which you can sit around on very comfy stools! So cheap as well. Staff were very friendly

Excellent selection of beers all round, both cask and keg! Some great sours in the fridge too. Loved the cheese board and locally sourced pig in duvet... Well seasoned sausage meat wrapped in bacon wrapped in pastry, delicious! Dog friendly too! Can't wait to try the Xmas drinks specials!

We enjoyed a plentiful cheeseboard, delicious pork pie, sausage roll and scotch egg. Chilli jam and picallili went well with both. Good wine and a pint of Boltmaker to wash it down. Looking forward to visiting again!!

I never came in here before the new guys took over in May so I can't compare... However, I absolutely love this little pub. Great selection of rotating craft beers and quality local real ales, friendly staff, and delicious bar snacks!

Wonderfully atmospheric, however the beer was 50p more a pint and I was from 145 miles down south. Couldn't believe it. Hence only 4 stars.

This was formerly 10 Devonshire Place. The same high quality and range of beers continues, but it has had a good makeover and much lighter. Staff very knowledgeable about their beers!
