Tuvimos una tarde encantadora en East Hill. Nos sentimos como en casa tan pronto como entramos en el bar. El personal era acogedor y nos dio tiempo para establecernos. Fuimos a tomar una copa por la tarde, pero la comida se veía tan bien que tuvimos una comida allí. Preciosa comida presentada con cuidado. Los huevos escoceses fueron una delicia particular. Gama completa de bebidas para todos. Esperamos volver la próxima vez que estemos en la zona. Gracias a todo el personal.

Christmas Day was made! We booked the East Hill for the first time for our Christmas Day meal, and it didn't disappoint! The food was exceptional, and plenty of it, the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly too! Thank you!

The food is very below par. Batter on fish overcooked. Steaks not good. Service chaotic. Toilets disgusting. Would not return for dining.

Visited here with former colleagues for what is now becoming our regular yearly catch up. Had the Xmas menu, did was well prepared and presented, service with a smile in some nice surroundings. Couldn't ask for more

A really great experience if you’re looking for a calm yet lively environment to have lunch or a drink in. It’s not ‘rowdy’ at all and it was really pleasant, so if you’re looking for a calmer Sunday vibe that still has a strong atmosphere, either as a family or with your parents, this is the place for you.

This was our first visit and they did not disappoint, everything was 10/10 excellent service throughout and an exceptional Sunday roast. Will definately visit again and recommend to family and friends🤗🤗

A favourite place for a relaxed long lunch with friends - inventive and tasty food, friendly and professional service, and a buzzing but welcoming atmosphere. Good drinks selection, and well priced food.

We come here regularly and have had the roast before, which we really enjoy. Unfortunately this evening we’d booked a table for the quiz but they had no roast left. They were really lovely and seemed to feel genuinely bad. As a gesture of goodwill/apology they gave us a round of drinks on the house. 10/10 service!

Main veggie roast great and service was goof . However dessert was bland which we pointed out but still charged for it and nothing down to compensate .

WOW, I'm speechless, who would've thought that this place could get any better?? The not so shabby looking Australian manager was able, within 2 weeks, to turn this place into the heartbeat of Wandsworth or simply said: a little slice of paradise. Well done to the team and I shall be back for a pint of Peroni

Great lunch with friends. Well looked after by Jonas and Piers - friendly, relaxed but very attentive service, nothing was a bother or rushed.

Took a friend who's in a wheelchair. Easy access. Staff were very friendly and chatty and the range of drinks very good. It was late afternoon so fairly quiet. The only downside was the number of children running round.

My local pub is an absolute gem! Fabulous roasts on Sunday and a lovely terrace to enjoy drinks at any time. Always attracts a really good crowd and the staff are superb. Exactly how a neighbourhood pub should be!

Very cosy eatery with great furnishings that provides the feeling you are visiting an old friend in their home. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and above average pub food. It’s my daughter’s new favorite place!

This is our new local and it did not disappoint. We have visited twice now. Once for drinks and once for Sunday lunch. On both occasions the staff were friendly, and the roast on Sunday was delicious and reasonably priced for the size and quality of the food.

Amazing lunchtime experience here. We were immediately greeted and offered space, though they had quite a few bookings! The food was so lovely, and they had a special lunch menu on as well as the big menu, so there was so much choice. Honestly couldn't fault anything, service was great too! Excellent friendly service. So helpful with finding a receptacle for some flowers I was given for my birthday, and water for our dog. Food was delicious for all six of us. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent local pub. Always a nice team serving and have never had a bad meal here. The daily soups are fantastic as are the mussels. On Sundays the quiz is great fun too.

A lovely little pub. Great food (roast are excellent) and friendly staff. Our local favourite! They have a TV to watch the sports but at it's best for drink, food and atmosphere.

Love this pub, come here often. Always lovely accommodating staff. Ordered the fish and chips and my friend is GF, the waitress spoke to the chef who offered to make up a GF batter for her. Prices are standard for a south west pub. Recommend coming here!

Visited Sunday 14th January. Booked a table in advance but wasn’t ready til around 15-20 minutes after booking time due to a previous party overstaying, that’s understandable. Unfortunately the service was then non-existent. We’d been sat for around 20 minutes before having to order from the bar with many other tables resorting to the same. That meant the tables that arrived 45 minutes after us were able to order before us and get the last roast beef portions. Food arrived but had no cutlery or any water offered.

Sad to say really disappointing this time. Service was poor at best given we’d booked it Sunday roast - had to get own menus, got up ten times between us to get various items, order things etc. roast portions were very small indeed for £22… one slice of very fatty pork belly, with crackling that didn’t crackle. A Yorkshire pudding the Consistency of brioche. Really weird as last time was great.

Lovely little pub but food was a bit disappointing. Pork belly needed more time to render, Yorkshire pudding was kinda cakey and everything just needed more flavour and seasoning. My fella liked his scotch egg.

Our table was very close to another and think the small round tables are a bit cramped for 2 for dinner. Service lovely, would suggest looking at the wine list to include some non alcoholic wines. (Wednesdays Domaine?)! One dish was very salty - chicken pie, but generous portion, hot and tasty other than the seasoning. Lovely pub, just a bit of constructive feedback xx

If you want to have a great time go to the east hill! Staff are always welcoming and smiley, great food and great drinks. Josie especially always makes a trip to the pub worth it and goes above and beyond, always with a smile :) 10/10 recommend

Lovely staff - everyone so friendly. We had a bit of a disaster with one choice on the menu but they dealt with it brilliantly so recommend this pub for a cosy evening being looked after by a lovely team.

Roast lunch was average and pretty much cold by the time it came out. Service was slow and not many people in the pub. Pub was also cold in general.

We had a really delicious Sunday roast - beef and vegetarian options . Portions are generous , Yorkshire’s are enormous and the staff were super friendly and efficient . Highly recommend .

Decided to go for Sunday lunch at the East Hill as it looked like it was going to rain all day. Really good roast beef and veg and huge Yorkshire pudding. Very efficient staff.

Watching the rugby game at this pub was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans coming together to support there team. The big screen and sound system ensured that every play was visible and exciting for most if not all areas of the pub. The staff were excellent even in such a busy time, keeping our drinks and snacks flowing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy the game with my mates. Five stars all the way, definitely going to try and see the final there!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this pub for their Sunday roast. The food was great, especially the roast chicken. The portions were generous, leaving me completely satisfied. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made it even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning for another delicious Sunday roast soon!

I used to love this pub but was very disappointed this time . It used to have a lovely cosy atmosphere but was lit like a football pitch and seemed tired. We both ordered the steak which was poor quality and tough ( my friend left hers) The staff were lovely but that’s not enough for me to want to go back. This used to be a lovely cosy neighbourhood go to but has lost its vibe. I wouldn’t choose to come back .

Too few staff and excessive wait of 1 hour for our food. Had to collect wine and glasses as not delivered.

We came here for the roast on Sunday and were not disappointed. Great selection of beers on tap, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and awesome roast. Service was also so welcoming, would definitely recommend!

Waitress sweet but absolutely clueless. 3 out of 8 dishes sold out. Once replacements chosen the food took forever and then 4 out of 8 dishes downright unpleasant. Toilets gruesome by 10pm on Saturday night. Doubt we'll be back.

This is the best pub in SW18. Hands down. Jacob and his team will nurture you like a new born lamb, gently plying you with the finest beers and spirits of the land. You can’t afford not to frequent this public house, and if you choose not to then you’re dead to me. I’ll see you there

Three taps of Youngs Original - no other Youngs beers available. The Original was served up cloudy. “It’s drinkable,” the staff said. I’d rather not risk it. Further proof that there are no ‘Youngs’ pubs anymore. Food was good though, and staff pleasant too.
