Amazing vibes , a wide range of beers, all of them very good and a staff was kind and very helpful. First and best british pub experience. Would recommend!

The roast is so gross, wouldn’t recommend it all . In fact all the food here is disgusting, not sure why we risked the roast knowing this but we got swayed by some out of date reviews. The lamb was so tough it was uncuttable, small burnt Yorkshire’s, soggy greens and salt and paper in little paper packets. It’s an average of £18 for a roast so would expect better. Oh and the cutlery is like school dinners quality, flimsy and useless

£4 for a pint of Diet Coke... Having worked in hospitality, I know how much post mix syrup costs - even factoring in overheads such as staff wages, bills etc this is too much.

Food is straight out of a processed plant and well overpriced for what it is, got screamed at by the "chef " when i pointed it out. However for fairness i will put out that the bar and the kitchen work independently, it's a real shame the owner doesn't value the importance of the food served in their establishment.

The exterior has been given a coat of paint, but inside it’s still a local pub. a good range of beers, including craft and well-kept real ale - Timothy Taylor’s. There is a food menu, but it’s simple. Good surroundings, good beer - just what a local pub should be.
