Worst customer service I've had of thirty years of pubs in London. I asked one young woman why the voucher for free drink as new customer wasn't working on the app... She didn't know but told me something that didn't make sense.. when I asked her a little more about it, she flew off the handle, "I answered your question! No need for sarcasm!" And she stormed off.. other staff were also not very welcoming.. no one asked how's/how was your food... Etc Cold chips. Pasta was good.

Old stalwart in the centre of Clapham Junction. Lovely pub but pricing themselves out. Very expensive.

Legendary pub situated nearby to Clapham Junction. Always worth a visit with its quirky interior and extra long bar. Not sure they can claim the longest bar with the section round the back converted into high seating for customers though now. Staff were friendly, but £7.50 for a pint of Paulaner is way over the top. No wonder it was quiet and I didn’t stay for another. Had a pint of Poretti (which was nicer)in Spoons over the road after which was buzzing for a fraction of the price. Ale is about £3 there too so you don’t think twice about having something else. Nicholsons need to sort their pricing out to align with competitors as it’s a no brainer where to go in future. Hopefully this gets fed back as staff are fine as is the venue.

Boozer just outside Clapham Junction Station. £3 a pint dearer than my local in Glasgow in a similar type neighborhood 🤔

A fun feel English pub at its warm wood and glinting mirrors best. Lots of cosy nooks around the extensive bar. Very accommodating of our large group. Noisy (of course) and I don’t love the big screens of sport (I don’t even like sports and still it draws the eye) but I’d you can get over those inconveniences then it’s a great place to meet up with a few friends

A great pub with an amazing atmosphere. A good selection of drinks to choose from. I didn't try any food on this occasion but menu looked ok. Defo one to pop into if you are in ghe area.

Met a friend at 11am for what turned out to be a whole day session lasting until around 8pm - that's why my spend was so high but it does include food. The Falcon is conveniently located close to Clapham Junction Railway Station which given it was a cold wet day was very welcome. On entering the pub it was pleasantly warm with only a few drinkers sat at the tables. I immediately liked the atmosphere and ambience. A splendidly preserved Victorian pub with a large range of real ales and lagers on tap. I went and stayed with the 4% Harvey's Sussex bitter which was great for the long haul. Clear and hoppy it was the perfect accompaniment to good conversation. Got to about 1pm and we had a look at the menu and both went for a steakwich with triple cooked chips which was very tasty. As it was Christmas I had to give in to my weakness for Christmas Pudding and brandy sauce. People began drifting in from work and by 5pm it was getting busy, at 6pm it was crammed with friendly patrons creating a lively atmosphere. The serving staff did a great job of handling the sustained rush dealing with people in the order of arrival at the bar. I liked The Falcon and would recommend.

What a pleasant experience! I came here today (Sunday) for an early dinner and a Guinness. The music was on, but it was just the right level: In the background and low enough to have a conversation without having to shout across the table. The rugby was also on, but it was on mute - which I thought was a great choice. The interiors are tasteful, warm and cosy. The patrons pleasant and the place had plenty of space. But the biggest surprise was the food. I ordered sausages and mash, a pub classic, and it was both delicious AND beautifully presented! Pub food is so bland and boring these days. I thought £15 was more than reasonable for what was a satisfying amount of food. I’ll definitely come back again and I would recommend this pub to anyone who is looking for a new favourite. My compliments to the chef and anyone who makes this place what it is.

I met a friend here for a quick drink, it was a beautiful relaxing atmosphere.

Drinks were fine but food was awful. Initially 2 items that we wanted from the menu were not available (only 3 of us were dining) so we had to change choices. One of our party has a dietary requirement and there was very little choice to start with. When the food arrived the portions were very small and the food most unappetizing. The Gnocchi was a starter size and the 2 pies were rock hard with little filing and there were very few vegetables. An extremely poor meal and exorbitant price for what we received.

Inicialmente 2 elementos que queríamos del menú no estaban disponibles (solo 3 de nosotros estábamos cenando) por lo que tuvimos que cambiar de elección. Una de nuestras fiestas tiene un requisito dietético y había muy poca opción para empezar. Cuando llegó la comida las porciones eran muy pequeñas y la comida más poco apetitosa. El Gnocchi era de un tamaño de entrada y los 2 pasteles eran duros como roca con poca lima y había muy pocas verduras. Una comida extremadamente pobre y precio exorbitante por lo que recibimos.

The football was far too loud, considering no one was watching it. I'm not sure why it was even on.

It is what it is really. Comparable to a weatherspoons. Poor food as expected. See pic for burnt calamari and rubbery halloumi fries. Big screen. Pints only fair for average price of 6.50£.

Went there for brunch last Saturday and it was delicious! The food was very tasty and generous quantity. Will definitely come back

Had chicken, chorizo, and potato wedges with broccoli. It was very good but I'd have liked more broccoli. Was able to order and pay using the QR code, which meant I didn't need to leave my seat to order at the bar. Quite pricey, at £16, but I did enjoy my meal. Didn't realise their sandwich and drink for £8.50 deal included chips or salad as well. May try that next time. The menu looks pretty good, so I'll probably be back.

He sido habitual en este pub durante años debido a su conveniente ubicación, pero después de la experiencia de anoche, no voy a volver. Lo que debería haber sido un simple pedido de una pinta y hamburguesa se convirtió en una prueba de pesadilla. Después de esperar casi una hora sin recibir mi comida, cortésmente pregunté sobre su estado. En lugar de disculparme por el retraso, me encontré con la hostilidad y la culpa de un miembro agresivo del personal. La camarera invadió mi espacio personal y exigió extrañamente saber el color de piel del barman que tomó mi orden, lo que me pareció ofensivo y poco profesional. Inicialmente me dijeron que no necesitaba proporcionar un número de mesa, solo para ser reprendida más tarde por no dar uno. Cuando mi comida finalmente llegó, prácticamente se tiró a la mesa. La incapacidad del pub para manejar una noche ajetreada no es excusa para tan mal servicio al cliente y comportamiento discriminatorio. Hay numerosas opciones mejores en la zona, como The Plough, The Junction, The Northcote, Hawkins Forge, todos a poca distancia a pie. Después de 7 años de mecenazgo, esta vergonzosa experiencia me ha asegurado no volver a poner un pie en este establecimiento. Ahórrate la molestia y elige uno de los muchos pubs superiores en Clapham.

It's not a great pub by any means, but it is an adequate pub. I do really appreciate the effort with the beer selection... couple of decent cask beers, five points JUPA on keg. Nice to go into a chain pub and find something that isn't Madri or some other rubbish. Old wooden surroundings. Football on TV.

A proper london pub! Came here for drinks and some lunch before a gig. A nice cozy atmosphere, good decor, good service with lots of space for seating and good pub food, great pies!

Popped in for a quick pint of London Pride. Lots of tables were pre-booked, but the signage was very clear and had times on them, so I found a couple of seats.

Great pub with great staff. Been drinking here for a few years now. Selection of food and drinks is extensive and varied. Food is superb too - would recommend the 3 bar snacks for £18. Staff are always friendly and courteous and the pub has a healthy band of regulars who make it a warming atmosphere.

What a lucky me i am to enjoy pub nights to the British holidays. We obviously has a good time and drinks time. But I did not enjoy a fosters or Carlsberg. I enjoyed a lovely guest ale instead.

I've been visiting the Falcon for years. I've lived on Lavender Hill my whole life. We had lunch there yesterday, Sunday 21/01/2024, I ordered the fish pie and had a game of hunt the fish! I found 3 prawns and 2 pieces of fish. It was mainly mash potatoes and cheese. Hardly worth £15! Also, my stomach has been iffy since I've eaten it. Very disappointed.

Litch waited over half hour for food. Ordered starter and everythin was brought out together. Food cold and had some ordeal to even order it in the first place. Very pricey considering what was served. Honestly wouldnt rate the place at all. Staff are friendly. Was given parctial refund but considering we paid over 50 pounds for what we literally could have gotten across the road in weatherspoons for less money, hassel and time id avoid altogether.

Not a bad pun overall. I think better if it was busy but that’s a sign of the times. I’d say it’s quite expensive but generally feel ripped off nowadays 🤷‍♂️

Very handy if you are on the way back from a football game at QPR and need to get to Wandsworth via Clapham Junction.

My mate and I meet at the falcon every month. Very handy location just down from the train station. Huge bar, good choice of drinks & easy to get served. The window seats give you a great view of the hustle & bustle going on outside. We nearly always have the burger & a pint deal. So we were dissapointed that the offer wasn't on during December. We hope the deal will be back on when we visit in January. Overall rating from me is very good. Have always enjoyed our visits here.

The kind of place where there’s QR code at each table and order and pay online. The challenge was table in the back had very weak cell reception. There was a WiFi which you can connect to once you provide your email and home address and stuff, but still that WiFi was also unreliable. I wanted to order another beer but gave up due to the unreliable connection. Fish and chips and the first beer I got was great though.

I had a fantastic experience at Falcon! The pub offers an impressive variety of beers and delicious food that left me completely satisfied. The welcoming interior and vibrant atmosphere create a perfect setting. The attentive customer service added to the overall enjoyment, making it a must-visit spot. Cheers!

OK, here we go. Went in to see friends and watch a football game. Friends didn't arrive on the time frame arranged! Looked for a seat just to watch the game. Sat in the inside area where more seats were available. End sitting on the bar stool on the left side of the bar. That bar section was not maned for some reason. So I had to seat at the bar, but had to go to the front to order. No worries all good. Left my jacket and went to order. Since was a small que, I decided to order 2 pints just to avoid getting up and going to order. Mind, that the game was coming to a close... Plus didn't want to loose my seat! Ordered 2 pints of Ale, got 2 pints of lager. Found out after I had gone back to my seat and sat and after 3min on the phone with friends for directions etc.... Paid 13.80 don't know if that is the price for lager or ale...maybe I'm a bit picky but that how my afternoon went by!!! Didn't want to go back and change the order.. I saw that the lady behind the bar was busy... So OK lager it is... Maybe I pressed one star out of frustration.. I'm sorry!! Will give another go to this pub not on game days to see how everything pans out!!! Thank you..

Horrendous service. Spent £70 on a tray of drinks for me and my party. It spilled. And I was verbally abused by 2 members of staff. Absolutely disgusting.

Very noisy and couldnt hear each others talk, most food had run out and wasn’t available, half our orders were missing items shown on the menu, staff looked all tirer and stressed out, in summary, an awful experience

Overall, it's a bit scabby. Needs a good clean and some staff who care. Update to answer the question. The bar was dirty. Empty plates were on the tables. Glasses were not collected. No engagement from staff, eye contact and a cheery "how are you?" goes a long way. Thanks for asking.

Staying nearby, we stopped in a few times as we were coming and going to Clapham Junction. The service and food were good despite food orders coming out at different times. It was our fault because we submitted five online orders instead of one. The place can be too noisy at night to converse.

A beautiful historic pub; Escher's design influence makes this an interesting and engaging stop and a talking point for any group get together. The menu is varied and the portions generous. A must visit if you're in the area, or just passing through.

What a wonderful worlddd ... Banging sports bar in Clapham, considering there's there's actual sports bar next door that was empty this place was class. Buildings older than the brands it sells, traditional and classy with screens everywhere. Will be the new hub for sport, burger and a pint deal hits the spot as well

The Falcon has its USP - given its proximity to Clapham Junction it’s the ideal pub in which to meet arriving friends and/or to have a nightcap before embarking on your journey. Give yourself 7 minutes from bar to platform. The pub itself is generic enough but the seating area in the converted old bar out the back offers some novelty. As you might expect punters are a mixed bag, from geezers to couples, and it’s normally quite busy. Overall: something for everyone and convenient with it.

Overpriced bar with terrible customer service. Staff (some) are ignorant and rude with not even a modicum of sense. I was overcharged for already expensive drinks because staff member got my order wrong. I was then asked if I wanted the difference refunded! This took another 5 mins. When I checked later I could see that no refund was given despite being told that it had gone through. A ‘reserved’ notice was then plonked down on our table without any apology which came across basically as you can f””k off in half an hour because someone else will be sitting at this table. Pathetic.

Had the vegetarian roast and was great. Could have done with a little more gravy though, but was very filling and hit the spot.

Busy on a Saturday but we were able to get a stool at the bar to watch the game and have some beers and food. Staff were friendly and explained rules for the voucher I had. Good selection of drinks, good food and good service!

Cracking pub. Visit the pub every time I come to London.showing all the decent sport games. Staff make you feel welcome and the food was on point aswel. After my long train journey it's my first stop off the train.

Surprisingly good place to watch the Rugby World Cup quarter finals. Fast service at the massive bar and table service through the app as well.

So this is a pub. A long established pub. It has a fantastic selection of beer that fills the front bar. Toilets are great. Outside street space is good, staff are smiley and engaging and the sport is on many screens.

Great food and great beers to be had. Can get congested when only half full but worth tackling for the atmosphere.

Advertised they were televising the F1 so I went down to watch. Had to ask twice to have it put on at least one of the small TV's and they turned it off with 5 minutes to go for a football news channel (not a live game) and wouldn't change it back. Nice work guys!

We were waiting ages for our food. Our starter was very tasty . We got the Sunday roast which came out cold so we had to send it back to be reheated. The Yorkshire pudding was stodgy, Overall very disappointing

I needed to charge my phone so I was im going quickly. Asking for soft drinks coze sorry im not gonna have alcolic drinks everyday. Just been humilited that was rude , disrespectfull. That Guy just laughed to my face with his Friends and asking me if I was taking the piss and explaining me that he wasnt serving. Dont really understand as he was behind the bar. I decided to leave. I worked in a pub and its not only for alcolic drinks. I wont recomand that pub. More that disappointed !!!!

Unreal place to watch sport! Great atmosphere, lots of beers available! Looks very different from the last time we were here after a make over Maddie was good craic behind the bar as well. Will be back for the prem next week!
