Truly outstanding experience. Front of house done a great job from start to finish. Our family been looked after very well. And food menu was great, with a good selection for everyone.

Incredible service. I felt very welcome. To be honest it was the tastiest pint of Guinness I’ve had in this town :) There are loads of great events at this pub. A real gem. You need to taste try their Sunday roast-SPECTACULAR!!

Really last minute booking at The Farm today. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food came out hot (rarity these days) and everything was full of taste. The best pork I’ve had in some time and the crackling was to perfection! Great fresh roasties and a wonderful rich gravy. They easily accommodated a gluten free roast and I was still able to have everything bar the yorkshire! Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I’ve eaten here a couple of times before today for a roast albeit a while ago and it seems to be consistently great! (Another rarity) Thank-you for a wonderful time.

Next level roast! Just had chicken with crispy potatoes and enough gravy to swim in all delivered by an awesome crew. My fella had the pork with perfect cracking and tender meat. No wonder this place books out every week. Sunday bloody Mary’s to top it off. Would rate higher if i could.

The Farm Tavern is easily the most enchanting pub I've encountered on my travels. The candlelit ambiance, reminiscent of a gothic horror film, creates a truly magical atmosphere. My girlfriend and I indulged in a delicious and reasonably priced meal, followed by an evening of drinks and delightful conversation with the friendly patrons and staff. The schnitzel and pierogi, were the perfect winter warmers. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem next time I’m in Brighton

The Farm Tavern is my favourite Brighton pub! The alternative/gothic decor is very cool and cosy, the food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I both have food intolerances and are always catered for so well. It's great to see an original pub menu, too, serving Eastern European food that changes seasonally. The pierogi and schnitzel are a must! We love any excuse to visit the Farm, just a shame we don't live closer!

The roast beef Sunday lunch was disappointing to the point of being inedible. The beef was full of fat and impossible to cut, awash with gravy in a vain attempt to disguise the poor quality cut. On complaining, I was informed that "this sometimes happens". As the food took a long while in arriving, it seemed pointless to request a replacement. A complete waste of money, I will not be returning.

A nice quickly little backstreet pub that had come recommended. The food, however, was very disappointing. Having taken an age to arrive, the roast beef was completely full of fat, an extremely poor cut of meat, rendering it inedible and impossible to cut even with a sharp steak knife. The veg was overdone, and the plate awash with gravy. My complaint was answered with the comment "that this sometimes can happen". I was advised that the main would have been changed, but given the time it took for the food to arrive, and no interaction thereafter with staff, this was not an option. A complete waste of time and money. I would definitely not consider returning.

Best place to have Sunday Roast in Brighton! We booked for 12 PM and the service was very quick.

The food is good here, no question but following an unfortunate incident involving spilt gravy, I received a breathtakingly rude email from the owner so won't be back.

Returned today having, in March 2023, vowed not to , but living nearby seemed ''worth a whirl''. A pint of Harveys is now £5.50, which is outrageous for a backstreet Hove pub. Sadly, definitely will not be returning.

Your bouncers threatened my family’s life last night. My uncle was a dj there and was trying to diffuse a situation and the bouncers instead threatened him. Disgusting. I want to know who that bouncer was that is responsible for this disgusting behaviour, along with another dj that also threatened my husband. I want answers.

Great night just a tragic group of roadmen in there who threw a beer at the DJ. They got ejected by some legendary Scottish Local and his 8 foot henchmen for being pathetic little children. Do these children not understand general public etiquette. Grow a pair and get over yourselves. Bouncer probably should have given the lad a slap as well.

Lovely Sunday roast celebrating friend's birthday. Food was delicious and the staff were great. Have been here before and did not disappoint again this time.

Another wonderful afternoon spent at The Farm. All five of us had the roast. It was absolutely delicious. Probably the best in Brighton. Exceptionally tasty and a very generous size. Was served promptly and piping hot. The cauliflower cheese is to die for. What always stands out for me is how friendly, polite and pleasant all the staff are. I honestly couldn’t praise this wonderful little place more.

Our first visit having followed them on instagram for a number of months. Visiting Brighton for girlfriend’s birthday so booked for a roast. We received a warm welcome and were seated immediately with drinks order taken very quickly The roast dinners are fantastic! Incredibly large portions and every mouthful was delicious. The gravy deserves a special mention as it’s the best I’ve ever had. A big thank you to the team at the Farm Tavern and we look forward to returning very soon.

It was my very first time visiting Brighton, (and the Great Britain, in fact) and since it was on a Sunday, I knew I had to try Sunday Roast. So I did a little research in advance and found this wonderful place that served amazing dishes. The atmosphere and music were amazing, and all the staff were warm and welcoming. I booked in advance and good thing I did because the place filled up quickly. I had the Roasted Chicken, Truffle cauliflower cheese, and Bloody Mary. All were a delightful experience. I especially loved the way they cooked their roasted chicken- sooo moist and the potatoes….. so crunchy..!! Gravy went really well with everything. The servings were somewhat huge for me, and I felt terrible for leaving behind the leftovers because my train back to London was scheduled much later that day and I knew I couldn’t eat during the day between my sightseeings. But I would love to go back one day and take the time to devour the roasts!!

What a lovely experience! Came with my daughter and a couple of friends. Had a selection of the small plates between us and finished the lot (even though the was soooo much food!) Staff lovely, decor tastefully goth and and wholesome pleasant experience.

Went to this pub on Sunday for the roast lunch on 26th of May 2024 . The food and service was excellent - we had the roast chicken and it was superb as was the gravy and veggies! Well done will be back!

Such a quirky little pub. Great atmosphere and really tasty and novel food. Their butter of the month and bread is always so good. When something so simple is done so well you know everything else will be excellent.

Great little pub with upstairs seating / dining. Querky decor, good selection of beers, ales and wines. Fantastically friendly, funny and knowledgeable staff. Delicious food with great vegan options! Plus a wonderful choice of entertainment and quizzes on Wednesday evenings. What's not to love?!

This is such a beautiful little pub to spend your Sunday afternoon in. Amazing roasts, delicious red wine, and amazing service. The roasts never disappoint, generous portion sizes and yummy sides. The crackling on the pork belly is 10/10. Highly recommend.

A very nice pub to have a drink or fun with friends. They have a big schedule of events and activities happening monthly (even a Drag bingo OMG… can’t wait to see it). I had heard great things about The Farm Roasts so thought I would check it out & went along with 3 family members. I had the nut roast, two others had the roast beef & the other had the pork belly. We were all very impressed with the food - quality & quantities! The service was very good - welcoming & attentive; and they were happy to provide some take-away containers for the food we couldn't quite finish off, too! I should think we will definitely be back.

Huge portions of food. Had the roast beef which was very good. If you are ordering kids portions the they are big enough to share between two children

We booked the upstairs room here for my partners birthday party in December and had such a wonderful time, the staff at The Farm were so accommodating and kind and we felt very welcome and looked after. The drinks and food were delicious and the whole pub has an amazing atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!

Incredible gluten free roast dinner 😍

The farm is one of my favourite pubs, however we went for a roast today. The roast was gorgeous, however we had to wait an hour and a half. When l commented on this the landlord just said, it's really busy between 2-4, so don't book at that time. I totally appreciate it was busy, and not many staff on, but if there is a problem with this, surely they shouldn't take bookings at those times. I felt obliged to tip, as the waitress was lovely, but l wasn't at impressed with the landlords comments, and l certainly won't be eating there again.

The best pub in Hove for sure, amazing roasts but the Eastern European plates are on another planet. Worth visiting on a Saturday for a bottle of red and some nibbles by the roaring fire.

Great music, great atmosphere, really good food, good selection of beer and well made cocktails. Not sure what more you could wish for in a local boozer

I didn't eat here so can't judge the food. But I can say that the atmosphere was impeccable and the staff were beautifully accommodating. We arrived around 9pm as a group of 6 and they opened the upstairs area so we could have a seat. We had the whole area to ourselves. It was fit for a coven boasting moody dark lighting, a grand circular meeting table with black candles and fairy lights. We could not have felt more at home. Thanks to all staff, we had a wonderful time 🖤🖤

This place is so underrated The food was eastern European and some of the best I’ve had. Particular highlights were the dumplings and schnitzel. The lady who served us was excellent

DECEPCIÓ Pub d'estil tradicional, amb molta afluència. Nosaltres no ho vam gaudir, van estar més d'una hora a portar el dinar (malgrat tenir hora reservada) La carn del roast de vedella, estava encara viva, el púding de Yorkshire gegant no es podia menjar de sec i torrat. I dels acompanyaments vegetals ja no en parlo. El servei amable i atabalat. No el recomano pas.

From the moment we arrived Managers Leanne and Rodin already had our regular drink ready and kindly held one of the last pork belly roasts, knowing it was my regular order - so kind. Pre Cocktails were a blast especially Leanne’s spicy Bloody Mary. They are always so kind to our dog Max, who also loves coming here. We stayed for 6 hours enjoying delicious and well priced wine ; cocktails n beer to wash down all our roast dinners- so well prepared/presented and such well cooked meats and a delicious vegan nut roast. We ve also enjoyed their weekday Eastern European tapas - definitely recommended. In a city where there are so many great Sunday lunch options the combination of quality; fair pricing ; welcome and service and great atmosphere the Farm leads the pack

In Brighton for the weekend (first of many) and decided to find myself a local. Found on first attempt - absolutely great pub! Staff are great and the locals chatty an md welcoming. Haven't eaten but I will - the food smells fantastic.

Excellent roast dinner, albeit let down by the substandard Yorkshire pudding. It looked great, the taste left a lot to be desired. The pork and crackling however was out of this world. Sorry vegans. Great space, friendly and attentive staff. Work in those yorkshires and it'll be perfect.

Excellent quality produce very well cooked, yummy yorkie and gravy. Huge portion but not off putting in any way. We were even asked how we'd like our beef cooked. That's never happened before! And it was perfect. Staff are always lovely here. Roast a little bit more expensive than most but worth every penny for sure. I wish I'd taken a photo but was too keen to get stuck in and forgot. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!

Came with friends for a roast . I had the garlic and Thyme chicken was tasty , nice veg, service was very slow and no update from staff, and very over priced

5 of us had a roast here yesterday and it was quite disappointing unfortunately. The food took over an hour to come out after ordering and we had to go and ask the staff twice how long the food would be. The major problem we had was no-one acknowledged that the food was taking a long time, no-one came to our table and apologised and explained that there'd be a wait, there were no apologies... it was almost as if they didn't care. Had the staff let us know and apologised we would have understood, but the sheer lack of acknowledgement was the issue here. Maybe next time, an apology and a complimentary round of drinks would keep customers far happier than just completely ignoring the issue. Unfortunately my friend sent her pork back because it was cold and when it came back to the table, it seemed that all the kitchen had done was pour hot gravy over the plate as she said the pork was still cold but she didn't want to send it back again as she was so hungry. The rest of us (2 beef, 1 chicken, 1 nut roast) all enjoyed our food and it was incredibly tasty, but sadly I don't think we'll go back as it was a very disappointing experience.

We’d booked a 5.30pm table ( last order ) and was called at 5.15pm to tell us that the only roast left was nut roast . Thanks ! On a previous visit the roast was great - seriously good . It seems the problem isn’t in the kitchen but the logistics department ! You can’t accept food bookings and run out of food …….There are not that many covers and it’s fully booked every week so how can you possibly run out ?! And to let us know 15 mins before ? It’s not fast food you’re serving - the roast has to cook for a while so how can you let me know 15 mins before ? Inexcusable and inept . Cheers

Fantastic food - huge portions & excellent quality. Lovely little venue too with good service and funky music. This is my third time to have a roast here in the last three months and I’ll definitely be back very soon.

Brighton resturant reviews can be misleading and some of the worst places to eat in Brighton and Hove get some of the best reviews. But the Sunday roast reviews for The Farm convinced us to give this pub a try and it didn't dissapoint at all. We had the vegetarian nut roast and to be honest, it was one of the best Sunday roasts we've ever eaten! (We've tried many in Brighton over the years. Some great, some bad and some truly ugly!) It's not the cheapest that you'll find in the city, but absolutely everyuthing on the generously loaded plate (nut roast, perfectly crisp roast potatoes, exceptionally tasty red cabbage, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato, tasty stuffing etc) was faultless. Even the gravy was top notch! I'm not in the habit of leaving such gushing reviews, but our meal today really was exceptional. The service is brisk and to the point. They obviously don't want people over-staying their alloted two hour time slots, but that's fair enough as every table was booked for at least two sittings and the upside is that you don't sit there waiting for ages for someone to take your order or bring you your food. I have no personal connection to this pub and have never eaten there before, but my honest opinion is that if you're looking for an exceptional Sunday roast in Brighton, this is the place to go.

Lovely little pub, close to where I live. Previous visit at 4pm very pleaseant. However, grossly overpriced - an outrageous £5.20 for a pint of Harveys is a London price. I can tolerate that but not the appallingingly loud music with which we were confronted around 6pm, which killed conversation. Sadly . we shall not be returning.

I love this place. Staff is incredibly lovely, food is impeccable and well worth the money. Really nice atmosphere and great location. I regularly recommend it to people I know! In my opinion it’s the best roast in Brighton and Hove.

Perfect place for a perfect Sunday roast! We ordered some broccoli cheese on the side and it was also delicious. Atmosphere is great for a good catch up with friends, a date, or even for chilling on your own, the Tavern looks homely with soft relaxing lightening as well as candlelight on each table. Staff friendly and helpful which is a plus.

Been in twice, once last year for a Sunday roast, top-notch if a shade over-seasoned, and last night for late evening beers. Chilled, welcoming, warm and candlelit. Nice 'backstreet' old school pub. Lovely bar staff.

We attended for a family Sunday roast. Made a couple of calls ahead of time, and received very good service at all stages of our time there. Would recommend booking ahead, they can even arrange men choices ahead of time.

After being frequent visitors of the sister pub the Geese we knew we had to try the roast at the Farm and it did not disappoint. Super cosy pub with very attentive and qfriendly staff, what more could you ask for on a winters Sunday. Food was amazing, both had pork belly, which was divine! The best crackling and super crispy and fluffy roast potatoes which is hard to come by in a pub roast! Thanks for having us, we will be back!
