The Fat Crab Clapham in Wandsworth

Fui con mi amigo y solo había una mesa allí, así que no estaba ocupado en absoluto y fue incómodo como 2 trabajadores estaban allí mirando, Nosotros y la otra mesa tuvimos que solicitar pañuelos de papel y no debería tener demasiado plus después de la limpieza, entonces nos dieron las toallitas. Mi chica se intoxicó por alimentos e incluso recibió una nota médica y no se lo han tomado en serio. Es difícil llegar a ellos, también es un desastre. Fuimos por el cajún ya que pensamos que sería diferente a lo que obtenemos pero era una bolsa llena de sal. £ 156 … . Y cuando caminé por delante de la tienda de pescado y patatas fritas me gustaría ir allí en su lugar. ¡No volveré seguro!

Justo la experiencia que estábamos buscando. Este fue nuestro primer hervor de marisco y lo pasamos genial con comida fantástica y un servicio impecable. Carlos necesita una mención especial porque fue muy amable, atendió todas nuestras necesidades, nos mostró los mariscos vivos y nos aconsejó en consecuencia. Tuvimos un regalo especial para el cumpleaños de mi novio con un descuento solo para nosotros. Recomiendo encarecidamente The Fat Crab para una tarde increíble con comida deliciosa, comida relajada, servicio atento y relación calidad-precio. No te decepcionarás 🦀

Wow , I had been wanting to come for a while and I was not dissapointed , the food was incredible , the spicing was bang on the money and delicious. The lady on Sat the 28th was amazing, she was an incredible hostess.

The place is amazing! Compared to the other two branches this one’s the biggest one. Staff are lovely & the food is AMAZING😍. The flavours the spices, maybe because I love seafood so much. I’m actually a regular in fatcrab( I should be getting a black card/loyalty card/discount)😅 however if anyone wants great seafood as if you was in US/CAN then this is the perfect place to have a delicious juicy seafood boil. I try other company that do seafood boil but still havnt outdone Fat crab

We had a meal for two , reasonable price for today finances,two crabs with fries and each with own chosen flavours. Loved the butter with lemon but more amazed with the "whole shabang" as flavours were so well balanced, delicate yet with a kick of spice. I'm coming back again . Or ,we also had baby crabs for snack 😋,

Amazing seafood boil. Friendly helpful staff. I had the Shabang blue swimmer crab, it was amazing! Cajun fries are cooked to perfection! Portion size is worth your money. Soft Drinks are limited , food can be spicy so they should offer different drinks. Great friendly staff. I will definitely be back

Food ir really nice, i loved the lemon and garlic butter was another level! Had a snow crab which was amazing, the rest of my steamed bag was really tasty as well, my gf had lobster blue swimmer crab and other stuff, she was very happy as well, service was okay. Definitely coming back!

Food is amazing and peaceful atmosphere second time coning here for my birthday! Crab and Lobster is to die for. Its a small restaurant but cosy and the do food collections also. Looking forward to going back again soon.

I generally like The Fat Crab but i have notice they must have a different cook on the weekend then during the week as the Sauces are very watery and the Prawn have really soft shells which are really hard to take off. The real Reason i really had to write a review is because . Phoned at 9pm Tuesday the 17/05/22 as they close at 11pm and usually take last order no later then 10pm, Upon phoning at 9pm there was no answer as i do not live very far i decided to go down there which i'll say was about 9:45pm on arrival i opened the door and they was sweeping up with all the chairs turned up on the table i asked them what is going on for them to reply they were closed when asking why they said they have just decided to close. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Where do I start?? I’m no stranger to Fat Crab and I usually go to the Harrow branch. I’ve never had any problems at that branch until I came to the Clapham branch. The food had no flavour, the prawns were just about cooked, the lobster had no taste and the corn was soggy with no taste. Not to mention the Fat Crab signature sauce was watery and also had no taste. I’m very disappointed and I will NOT be retuning to that branch. I will stick to what I know. If you want REAL Fat Crab go to Harrow.

What a amazing place, lovely food and excellent service. A good choice on the menu. It’s probably best to book a table as it’s a quite small restaurant

I have eaten here many times and it pains me to write this, but unfortunately I had to stop going here as they don’t clean the poo sack out of their prawns. I even offered to pay extra for them to remove the poo sack and they said they don’t have the time. When you spend that amount of money I don’t expect to be eating animal faeces. Real let down because I honestly enjoyed it, but I can’t take eating my meal and picking out cooked in animal faeces :(

Good atmosphere, good staff, great experience but the food was way to salty. We ordered the calamari for a starter this was salty. For our main we ordered lobster for two, this was salty as well which was a put off. Hope things will be better when we visit next time.
