The Food Crate Cafe in North Lanarkshire

First time visiting this place this morning, looking for somewhere to have some breakfast and have to say it did not disappoint. 2 of us had breakfast items and 1 had a baked potato, everything was cooked to perfection. Also a sneaky piece of gingerbread cake was given and have to say it was as good as it looks…. The staff were also great and no long waits, everything cooked fresh, we will definitely be back, glad we found it.

My husband , my mum and myself went for breakfast on Sunday late morning and I have to say it was absolutely gorgeous, staff where great and could not have been any friendlier. This is the first time we have tried here and definitely won’t be the last. Breakfast was lovely and my mum had a baked potato with cheese and chicken and again lovely. Cakes also look lovely and we had a piece of gingerbread, which tasted so good, looking forward to returning.

Paid £8.50 for toated panini can of juice and chicken burger. Not worth the money was hungry afterwards.

No eating in due to restrictions, but the takeaway service was quick and we enjoyed our spicy chicken burgers and great coffees. Well worth a visit when working in Bellshill again.

Food class as always and delivery always on time. Staff friendly and would highly recommend to try here

Always eat here as food is brilliant service brilliant and time for a review as never done this cafe before . A wee jewel near the crown well virtually next door ..keep up the good work guys don't let it slip

Best sit in cafe in Bellshill by far! Poached egg n toast is flawless 👌🏼 I've had breakfast in there countless times and even invite friends n family who have also been impressed.

Had a few hours to spare when i was in Bellshill on Sunday.Had a walk up and down both sides of the Main Street before popping into this wonderful cafe. Had a cheese n tomato toastie, coffee and carmel cake. All were superb along with the wonderful service. I would definetly recommend this cafe to anyone whose in the Bellshill area.

Just had an unexpected visit here as I normally visit nearby premises. I must say I was very impressed from walking in door until I left. As we got in we were asked to take a seat and virtually immediately we were tended to, the gentleman was very helpful and chatty, not sure of his name but I will rectify that soon. Our order was promptly served and was delishess, properly oven baked potato with tuna mayo and a latte to follow. I do thoroughly recommend a visit, brilliant.

Myself and my daughter just had a lovely meal until the girl serving came over and took our plates away without even asking if we were finished which my little girl wasn't.I did say to her that she was still eating and she said sorry but maybe she should ask the customer if they are actually finished eating before swiping plates away

Visit the food crate often. Food always fresh and when cooked piping hot. Good variety of food on menu. Full breakfasts are excellent. Only drawback is no public toilet but the owners allow you to use their toilet. Staff very accommodating especially Luke who goes out of his way to please when a request is made. Food good quality.

I can not recommend this cafe more - the customer service is top notch - we were acknowledged by friendly staff as we entered. The shop is scrupulously clean and has a stylish modern fit out. The menu has something for all tastes and is made fresh in front of you and it is delicious. Thank you for a great meal - I can’t wait to visit again. 😊
