Fantastic character pub with great locals, very friendly and lovely atmosphere, if you want a drink and a good chat come here.

Very friendly people, the bar staff and welcoming too, good night with the Karaoke on Thursday.

Had my sons 21st birthday party here at this place last night we had booked back room and got our own dj in only to have the bar staff keep turn his electric off whenever he played owt faster than elvis presley we ended up stopping every thing and all going next door to the Kings head so I'm talking to brewery tomz about getting my money back

Nice place to hold a celebration in, very nice polite staff, car parking also children allowrd in until 9pm in the venue room.

Much better now it has risky disco's 10pm while 2am on a saturday night.

Was ok, they serve Coors which is my fave drink but the pool table was broken and had been for weeks.

It was but a cold and raining day when I set upon the challenge of getting my hair nicely taimed at my favourite local Barber shop "blade one" upon arrival the que was extravagant and seats taken by weary legs, with the climate hastily worsening I ventured into the local tavern joined to the excelling barber establishment. After opening the door I was created by a warmly dated decor remnicent to the typical bulldog English breed us brits are famous for, I felt very at home and by that I mean it's like being at my nans house. So if awkward table stools and the constant feeling of not wanting to have a cigarette because you feel like your nan will catch you and you don't want her to know you smoke because it will beak her ache breaky heart then this is the place to come sit back and feel like your stuck in the 70's #rated
