Fuimos a desayunar con Santa. ¡Qué tiempo tan encantador! El evento estaba muy bien organizado y los niños realmente lo disfrutaron! La comida buffet era muy sabrosa, con un montón de comida para todos! Las golosinas dulces en la mesa eran una buena adición. El saxofonista era extremadamente talentoso y el duende cantante involucró a todos los niños. Esperamos que tengan el evento de nuevo el próximo año, ya que todos realmente lo disfrutamos!

Great night excellent value for money

We came on Saturday for breakfast with santa, and couldn't have been any happier. The entertainment was amazing, food was lovely and we loved how well organised it was. A lot of thought had clearly gone into it all, and a table each time to go up and get food worked perfectly. We will definitely be coming back for the breakfast with santa next year and we also love the shows we see throughout the year here. Absolutely amazing place so thankyou for always making it so lovely for us.

DESAYUNO CON SANTA El desayuno era excelente el personal encantador y organizado muy bien por ejemplo cada mesa fue al buffet en orden así que no hay colas y lo mismo para ver a Santa, lo que no era bueno las canciones BLUE Xmas , alimentar al mundo no es adecuado para los niños quieren canciones que conocen rudolph - helado el muñeco de nieve etc el saxofón era bueno pero los niños no aprecian eso , también no hay juegos para involucrar a los niños solo un elfo cantando en el escenario por £ 20 por persona más esfuerzo necesita ser puesto en pequeños juegos con pequeños premios habría sido divertido mis hijos estaban aburridos , también copas reales para los niños bebidas que necesitan ser de plástico vamos accidente esperando a suceder

Qué decepción. Tres amigos y yo fuimos a una pre-Navidad ponerse al día. Llegamos al invernadero a las 12: 00 y ordenó nuestras comidas antes de las 12 : 15 , dos tostadas de jamón y queso y dos patatas camperas con gambas. Nuestra comida llegó a las 13: 20 Después de que uno de los nuestros fue a preguntarnos si habíamos sido olvidados. Las tostadas eran bastante duras y las patatas fritas no demasiado calientes, las patatas de chaqueta estaban frías, así que fueron devueltas. Dos patatas chaqueta más con langostinos fueron traídos a nuestra mesa, pero todavía estaban duros en el medio. No puedo decir que el Glasshouse estaba demasiado ocupado con los pedidos de comida por lo que pudimos ver. Huelga decir que no volveremos a visitar.

Waited one hour for meal. Very poor, chips just warm, toastie burnt. Friends jacket potatoes cold returned to kitchen next ones hard not cooked enough. Will not be returning.

This is one of my favourite “pub” restaurants in the whole of the city. Always very high quality food at reasonable prices. Drinks prices are very reasonable. What you would expect in a pub in Doncaster. Toilets always clean. Huge screens for sports and show a wide variety. Also have pool table and darts board which is getting more rare. Car park is a very decent size - if you’re coming for food would recommend booking. It’s a popular place

Some nice beers and a good atmosphere. Lovely Sunday lunch. The staff are lovely too. Only issue for me is dogs on chairs- I love dogs in pubs, but not on the furniture.

We visited on Friday 6th December, for my birthday meal and were very disappointed with the service. We ordered some food, was told there would be an hours wait, we sat for over an hour and still did not receive our food or have a member of staff come over to our table to apologise for the wait. I had to go up and ask how much longer, to be told it would be another half an hour, however in the meantime, someone who arrived after us received their food and also received a complimentary drink! We had an appointment so had to ask for a refund, and this spoilt our day due to having to find an alternative place to go to eat!!

I have always given this place a good review but on a recent night out when I was enjoying myself and just having fun at the boyzone westlife tribute I was told to sit down ...I felt degraded and humiliated..so if anybody remembers this and I offended you in anyway I apologise...but for those of you that supported me I want to say thankyou so much..I took my elderly mum there for dinner today which was nice ..its just a shame I can't say the same about how I was treated. I'm so annoyed with myself for letting someone treat me in the way they did.i won't be going to any event there anymore .

Excellent home cooked food never fails to disappoint and delight. Hard choice between the staple order of corned beef pie and the suet steak and ale pudding which won on this visit - thin and crusty baked served with delicious home made choice and garden peas. Dessert was Yorvale ice cream with was equally lovely- white choc chip and sea salted Caramel. Deuchars IPA was ale of choice tonight. Friendly and chatty staff, big function room with many events over the year from tribute acts to well known comedians.

The best pub in Doncaster. Always warm (in winter) and inviting. Great choice of drinks and food. Pet friendly too 😍 We love it.

Another nighttime seafood plater very nice

Ordered food, took about an hour, not very good and husband’s looked uncooked so he just shared my food. I doubt I will return. Shame as it was a family reunion.

The place looks nice and the prices make that happen. Too expensive for drinks given the area and the food is appalling (quality and some prices). The garlic bread with cheese was just 3 slices off the end of a baguette and the pizza is literally a chicago town takeaway pizza

We had an afternoon event last week, a buffet catering for 65. The food was first class with a brilliant variety of foods including dishes suitable for vegetarians. They also provided a very tasty vegan chilli. There was more food than we could eat. We shall certainly not hesitate to use The Glasshouse when we have another event. I must add also the room was laid out beautifully and all our guests were delighted.

Ŵe went to an engagement party in their function room. Service was great. Buffet was fabulous. Had a really fab time.

We went there with some school friends after being to a funeral of my wife's best friend, as we were all 72 years old it was nice to just eat in a corner and talk over old times, but myself and my wife have been here lots of times for their Tribute acts, and for birthday parties and have really enjoyed it, the staff are helpful as well. But my wife is disabled and every time we have been the disabled bays are taken up by young people with no blue badges as she's asked them.

Ordered meal and was 65 minutes before it came, pub was not in the slightest busy then they got my order wrong and the hot dog would have been better called Luke warm dog. After 45 mins we asked how long it would be and ten minutes later we got told 5 minutes. The coke was the worst coke have ever had. Been in past and was ok, after this visit definitely won't be going back.

We go fairly frequently to the Glasshouse. Lovely pub and the staff are great. Always have the carvery when I go. Always lots of selection.

We enjoyed a lovely buffet yesterday at a wake. But please don’t put ham on the cheeseboard. Think veggies.

Arrived at Sunday lunch time without a booking. Got a table in the games area. Carvery was excellent. A very friendly and helpful place. Well worth a visit.

We weren't in the pub - we were part of a private party next door. Everything was great except the DJ who was useless - must be the easiest money he has ever earned. Food was a mixed hot and cold buffet which was superb, sandwiches were fresh and food meant to be hot was hot. No idea how much it cost per head obviously. Service at the bar was fast. Alcohol prices were reasonable.

I've just recently started visiting the area and been introduced to this class establishment. Decent hand pull ales, excellent food at good prices and a well set out place with areas for everyone to relax, whether it's eating, chatting or playing pool. I'd be more than happy to have a place like this on my doorstep.

Long wait for the food but they made us aware of this at the time of ordering. It was a very busy Saturday night. The staff were friendly, and the tables were constantly being cleared and cleaned. Very happy to say the food was well worth the wait, we both very much enjoyed our meals and will be returning to try some other things off the menu. Delicious and very generous portions.

Staff are very helpful. but the food unfortunately was awful... steak had raw fat, and looked to be pan fried or cooked from frozen. The pulled pork tasted awful it had an off taste definitely not bbq.

We visit the Glasshouse for a carvery lunch every Sunday and couldn't disagree more with the review from Taylor C. You only have to look round at all the Reserved signs on the tables, on any Sunday to see how popular it is. Many of these tables are for regulars who come back week after week. To comnent on some of the complaints made; - Donna does not throw meat and veg on the floor, any waste is thrown into containers behind the carvery ready for disposal, it does not go on the floor - The veg is definitely not frozen, it is all freshly cooked - We have always found the staff both behind the bar and carvery extremely friendly We have tried many carveries over the years and this one remains our favourite by far. We've just come home from having a Glasshouse carvery and will be back next week for another one!

Sunday dinner is the best in Doncaster

The first and last time we will be visiting. Firstly my step dad asked somebody if they worked here, the member of staff looked himself up and down and said "well I hope so", he had no way that we could of known for sure as no uniform, no name badge or anything so the fact that he looked at himself as if to say well its obvious, actually it wasn't because he had grey jeans on and a black shirt, it's only his behaviour that made us think he did. Then we went up to the carvery, the way Donna who was serving spoke to us was disgusting. First we were stood there for about 5 minutes whilst she was chucking all the meat and veg on the floor that was surrounding the hot plate, she never said "sorry I'll be with you in a minute" or anything. Then instead of saying "sorry for your wait what can I get for you" her words were "ticket" then "what do you want" and then after she carved the meat stood there with it in her hands and said "well get your plate then" like really?! Are we being served in a prison here or something?! She did the exact same thing to all six of us "ticket" "what do you want" like come on!!! Where is the customer service here. My partner went to the bar to get drinks and he asked for a water, the server gave him a bottle of sparkling water, so he said oh this is sparkling, she took it off him, give him a dirty look and said "erm no it's not" and gave it him back, until my partner pointed to the words "sparkling water" on the bottle. Absolutely shocking experience at this pub and it's safe to say we will not be returning and NOT recommending anybody to visit here. Carvery was all frozen veg also which wasn't even cooked well.

Great pub/venue. Always a lot of people in to prove it.

First time back for myself, my wife and friends for quite some time. It was busy as ever, but bar service was quick. The girls ate in the restaurant and were very happy with the menu and the meals were hot and tasty, under a tenner, so happy ladies. Girls recommend 👌. Boys .......we had beers 🍻

As always excellent, staff, welcoming , food is wonderful everyone loves Sunday lunch we call it family time.

Eaten here a few times and everything we've had has been nice. They have a few specials as well as the normal menu so you're not stuck with the same things if you go regularly. Decent choice of draft lagers/beers so there should be something for most. The place itself is pleasant enough and there's pool and darts too.

Sunday lunch......for vegetarians RUBBISH. I made a reservation for four of us, two weeks prior to going and made sure to advise that I was a vegetarian, the other three in our party werent. I made sure to mention that i have food allergies concerning aubergine and wild mushrooms. I was assured on the telephone, that this wouldn't be a problem to accommodate ( in this day and age!!) When we arrived, the ordering procedure was explained to us, and I mentioned again that I was vegetarian. I was told that the vegetarian option option contained mushroom, so ' it was probably best to avoid that that' I was told there was no mention of my allergy on the booking notes. I was given the option of going to the carvery and getting a plate of veg , as the staff member said ' well, you like veg don't you?' But there was no veg gravy available.........or I could wait until 3pm ( it was 1.30pm at this point) and then I'd be able to order a veg lasagne from another menu. Needless to say, we cancelled our reservation and left . The lad we'd been dealing with thanked us for freeing up another table. No one apologised, or tried to improve our experience and I was made to feel like a nuisance. THIS PLACE IS STUCK IN A FOOD TIME WARP. ITS THE WORST PLACE IN DONCASTER FOR CUSTOMER CARE AND BASIC ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I'd never recommend it. Stay home instead!

We had a pie and pea supper with live entertainment in their large function room. We saw the meals being served in the main restaurant / pub area and they looked great. We had the fixed menu meal with the show and it was lovely. The comedian was Lee Lard (Peter Kay) and he was very, very funny. Just don't go to the toilets while he is on stage 🤣😂. The food was lovely, the service was great and the show was fantastic.

Very poor customer service. Four of us ordered food, only three meals turned up, although we paid for four, the bar manager blaming a computer error. The three of us had finnished our meals, and still waited 20 mins, and still it hadn't turned up. The bar manager just wasn't bothered, he just shrugged it off, we eventually got our money back, and left. Will not be going back.

What an amazing place the food was amazing. We will definitely be back. Lots of choice and tasted amazing. It was a very busy place well worth a visit.

We spent nearly £90 this evening between 4 adults and a baby. We orded our food and waited with a distressed, hungry and tired baby. I litrally and shamfully resorted to feeding my son condiments, ive never seen a baby eat so much tarter sauce in my life. I waited so long i requested a refund and sugested to my parner to get a family bucket from KFC. Upon which the waiter came back to our table an Informed us they where makeing our food next. So we waited. And to my dismay the food was awfull. The Mash potato was lumpy and unseasoned and had no milk. My mix grill tasted like something from witherspoon. Only twice the price. The steak that i requested to be rare not raw seemed to have come from an old cow, Chewy and bland! The home made chips where soggy as if the oil wasnt hot enough. They may as well have boiled them. The salad was the best part off the meal. Unfortunately im not rabit. So bloody disappointed 😞

Return visit just to have the Fish Shop Platter again, which is delicious and very reasonable. Friend had a curry which was also excellent. Plenty of drinks choice and great service.

A family get together just for a catch-up, was made into a special occasion by the most helpful and accommodating staff. They were so helpful. The food was amazing- a hot and cold buffet. The room was warm and welcoming and a large comfortable chair was made available for my ill husband. Can’t praise them enough. Thankyou.

Don't know if this was not a standard night but there were a load of rowdy twenty something's with their tops off sparring in the car park and someone had vomitted all over the floor in the beer garden. Bit off putting ...just had a coke and left 🤢🤮

Was here for a wedding. The function room is a good size & had it's own outside space too which was nice. The food was good - lots of different things on the buffet. The only slight negatives were there was only a couple of toilets so they got busy at times & my friend ordered a drink for the bride for the toast & speeches & she didn't get it until after.

A lovely Wedding reception held here. Lovely big function room, plenty of delicious food on the buffet.

16 of us went for Sunday lunch, pre ordered the meals. Service was good, all meals arrived together which isn't easy for 16. Food was standard pub grub but not complaints from 16 people so hence 4 stars.

Just been for the first time had the cavary for Sunday lunch. The staff & service was very professional & made my wife and i very welcome. Food was out of this world 5 🌟. Would definitely recommend. MR S GORTON

Ordered and waited over an hour for food, half the tables not in use. When complained said I was told it would be an hour which I wasn’t . This is twice now that the service has been abysmal. Such a shame as the food is good but some of the staff don’t care. Two bad experiences sadly means no more visits. Left without dessert as we didn’t want to wait another hour!!!!
