Really great food, really great service and a beautiful beer garden. Will definitely be returning, and with more friends! Can’t wait to try the pub quiz!

went with my accountant for lunch. Never been before and was pleasantly surprised. Used to here about 40 years ago when it was a wine bar - now a very nice pub.

We had a 25th wedding anniversary here and the staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The venue was perfect, we had a funk band that came to play; we ordered pizzas and charcuterie boards which kept coming out through the evening and sole use of the bar outside in the heated covered area. It was an excellent evening and a great venue!

Delicious food and great service. I had the salmon which was a little well done on the bottom but overall very tasty and the salad was lovely. Bf had the fish and chips 'generljs portion size' was his comment. Overall great ambience and would recommend for a cosy night out

I didn’t want to make a fuss after a family meal that was paid for by my step father back in June made me rather unwell so to find out from a friend they had a zero food hygiene score from the council shortly before/after is no surprise. The meal was okay but the service and cleanliness was an issue. I should have known from the state of the toilets that it was not looked after. I am surprised they have not made a public apology for the shocking state it was in and I will not be coming back anytime soon.

Wouldn’t rush back - upon arrival were told that we could order drinks at the bar or online. We ordered drinks via the app and 20mins later still no sight of them, went to the bar to be told they hadn’t checked for any app orders. Food was average, overcooked chips, soggy undercooked pizza. Garden was a nice sun spot.

Arranged a birthday drinks here. Never visited before, but will definitely be coming back! The Glasshouse has a really lovely atmosphere, the staff are attentive and went out of their way to help make it a special evening. Good selection of drinks and food, plus board games which went down a treat. Thank you The Glasshouse!

Very warm welcome we were seated at the very back but chose to move as it was far too chilly and moved into the main bar area. Staff were helpful and brilliant with our granddaughter, who knocked her drink flying moments after ordering it. We were a parry of seven and were all travelling from different places. Our oldest son was an hour late due to train delays, so we ordered food late. I had read good reviews but must admit the chicken, chorizo burger did not wow me it was OK a little to dry if I'm honest. Chips and salad were fine. My husband was happy with the real ales and as a non drinker finding alcohol free Tanqueray was a bonus. A huge thank you too the staff. Will certainly come again.

The staff here were amazing. Very friendly and attentive. My mum likes her food well done so I asked if I could speak to the chef. Christiano was his name and he reassured me that her dinner would be well done. Well yes it was and my mum enjoyed it as did my partner and myself. Even got extra gravy and roast potatoes 🥔 The bar staff and kitchen staff were amazing. Lucy was the manager and welcomed us into the pub. Yes I will go back and yes I 100% recommend this pub to anyone especially on a Sunday for the roast.

A delightful plate of burnt meat after waiting half an hour in a not too crowded dining room. The chef was so cross with our complaint that he decided that we would only get a tiny bit of meat to replace it. Poor guy. The wine tasted like vinegar but the prices were not apologetic at £6 for a small glass of Shiraz vinegar and £10 for a large one. I am not a person who complains very often and have never in my life written a bad review about any restaurants but this ‘meal’ was really a shocker. We did not order pudding because we were frightened the chef might spit into it. Thank God the waiter/barman was a sweetheart!!!

The Glasshouse hosted our daughters 18th birthday party. From start to finish Lucy and the team were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Good food, good drinks and sound system made for a really good atmosphere. Photo booth accommodated. Drinks table sorted. Large number display no problem. Totally recommended as a location for a special family occasion.

We had pre booked a heated booth in the garden for Sunday lunch as did not wish to be inside. It’s a pity that it wasn’t very busy at all but understandable that people are being cautious in the run up to Christmas with the high Covid 19 numbers. We both had roasts, me chicken and husband beef, served pink as requested. Our meals were nothing like that of the last reviewer who judged them poor, we found everything was super tasty and perfectly cooked. The selection of 6 different vegetables were all lovely, served with a huge Yorkshire pudding and a good serving of gravy. We couldn’t fault a thing, husband cleared his plate. Totally delicious and very good value for money. Our only slight complaint would be, that the booth heaters are on timer switches which are set to automatically switch off far too quickly, so it feels like you are constantly having to switch on again. We’ve had burgers and pizzas in the past and thought they were good but the roasts were excellent and we shall return!

One the worst roast dinners I've had... roast potatoes were raw, broccoli raw, cauliflower raw, Swede was cold an lumpy beef was inedible topped off with watery gravey.. very disappointing, never again!

We used the function room at the Glasshouse to hold a memorial for my husband as we could not all get together earlier in the year. The room was ideal, fitted 40 people nicely and was a massive plus having access to the garden. Lucy and her staff were always on hand for anything we needed (largely tea and coffee). Lucy arranged for us to meet with the head chef ahead of the event to work out the best way to do the food which worked perfectly. Really good value and would highly recommend.

We had a surprise 40th for my partner. Admittedly I booked it blind, but was very happy when I arrived. We had the outside bit, that was luckily undercover and had a few heaters. What a gorgeous little place. Highly recommend. Fabulous staff as well, and pizzas were sublime.

We’d been recommended here by our daughter’s boyfriend, who said it had a lovely outside eating and drinking area. We arrived early, by 6pm and it was really busy outside. We found a bench table under the canopy but were able to move to one of the heated booths after about 20 minutes. We had a burger each, they arrived quickly and were delicious. The pizzas that others were having looked really good too. Lots of tables were prebooked so I’d book in advance when we go again, which we will do as such a lovely environment with decent and reasonably priced food.

Pub wise this is one of the best options for new Malden. It’s a large pub with eclectic decor, maybe a little tired now. Menu could be better as I would have liked a main salad but it’s mostly main meals and pizzas.

Had a great Sunday roast there with my husband yesterday. The roast chicken and the vegetables it came with were amazing. I asked for them to give me more veggies instead of Yorkshire pudding and that was a good choice: I absolutely loved them! The side of chips were also fresh and tasty. The fish and chips was also good and we especially enjoyed the mushed peas. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast. There are some other items on the menu but you don’t get the pizzas on Sundays it seems.

Called today and was welcomed straight in, had a focaccia starter with some kind of oil to dip in and was lovelyThen main course haddock and chips which was nice tooUnder current climate I had to order on phone which wasn't an issue at all, if out easier then queing at barDog friendly, and even she got a free drink!!Would definitely call again when I'm down this way

I've been coming to this pub for years, and I've watched it evolve and change and I have to say since COVID-19, I've been to a few places but none seem to have got it as spot on as The Glasshouse. Systematically sound, you have all the options for as much or as little contact as you wish, which makes your experience yours to navigate. You can order at their outside bar which is socially distanced with a formed queue, and sit outside away from people but still amongst the inner workings of a pub garden or you can remain fully at your table and order online. Service is quick, efficient and friendly whatever you choose and there's always someone around to answer those "stupid" questions (that dinosaurs like me have!) The guys have done a great job and the whole place feels clean, food is excellent and it's done with a genuine welcome. Will be back!

This was my second time visiting since reopening. Both times met by extremely friendly staff. They really have all the measures in place for a safe experience. Bar staff are all pleasant and ordering was easy, either on the App or at the outside bar. Pizzas are so good and very reasonable. Recommend The Glasshouse for a really good meal in a relaxed environment.

Been there a lot of times. Friendly welcoming staff. Best valued Pizzas there. Also would recommend the chocolate brownies

Had a few drinks in the Glass House pub last night Fri 6th March. with my wife, son & daughter in law We have been there several times & always enjoyed the food & large selection of beers etc,.served by very friendly efficient staff. There are comfortable sofas & arm chairs, plus a separate restaurant area.

Went there at 11am and it was very quiet - the bar staff were still wonderfully good-natured and good-humoured. The brunch menu starts at 11 and the main menu starts at 12 - we had such difficulty choosing which menu to even go for! The brunch menu had a very interesting veggie breakfast and eggs royale/benedict/florentine. In the end we went for the main menu: excellent range of food and the staff were happy to help with explanations of how things are cooked. The pizzas were also very tempting (I saw one about to be cooked - looked very hearty with lots of toppings!The service was very good - we weren't waiting too long and it was well worth the wait! My salad was generous portion and the salmon was very well-cooked. My bf enjoyed his steak and ale pie and really enjoyed the vegetables too.The overall atmosphere was very cosy and English gastropub. We will be back for the bottomless menu on Monday!

Went to The Glasshouse Saturday 2nd November to watch England v South Africa Rugby World Cup final, great atmosphere on the pub, extremely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us all at 09:00, great beer and good breakfast to boot, can’t fault the place or the staff and South Africa won as well so all round a great time.

We booked a late Sunday lunch with our visitors from Canada.Unfortunately the meals were deeply disappointing. The roast beef was dry and curly at the edges and had obviously been reheated (even microwaved?) and the portions of roast pork minuscule. The roast potatoes were like bullets and had also been reheated. The vegetables were mainly lukewarm but the broccoli cold. I complained to the uninterested server and was offered extra gravy!! A really bad experience. As I had guests I chose not to make a fuss at the time but have just decided never to visit this place again.

A good beer selection, good starters. Haddock and chips were solid for the but a bit overpriced. Wife had vegetation parcel which was nice but the veg were undercooked (potatoes, cabbage) or overcooked (beans, Yorkshire pudding). The pork belly had a solid gravy, potatoes were on point but everything else was overcooked. Most disappointing thing was the pork belly, 2x rings of meat that were less than 1cm thick. They could not have weighed more than 50-70grams in total. To pay £15 for less than 100g of protein is pretty poor. Provided feedback to manager and waiter, whilst they accepted the feedback and said they would pass to the chef and that was it. Really poor. I would completely avoid. Last time we visit. Not great value unfortunately for roast dinners, recommendations is to really stay away. Sad as it has a lovely location and outdoor bit

Nice place for a drink or something to eat. Practically opposite train station so attracts commuter customers

We were a group of four ladies that visited for bottomless brunch. The full English breakfast was good and the staff were attentive and friendly. The bubbles flowed throughout our hour and a half visit. A definite recommend from us and we will go back for another visit soon.

Stopped for a drink and sat outside which was pleasant enough although half the beer garden was roped off. Found prices quite steep with two single gin and tonics close on £13. Would probably stroll further up the road to the royal oak which still has a nicer beer garden and same rip off pricing. On plus side staff seemed friendly and toilets were clean.

Good burgers and good pub food. Effecient service and there is a garden area behind with good seating. Starters from 4 GBP , mains from 6, Burgers, recommended form 12. Wines White from 19.25, Rose 22.50 and Red from 19.25, the most reasonably priced are all Italian wimes.

I went tonight with a group of close friends and we had a really lovely time. We sat in the garden and had a warm welcome from Laura the manager. The pizza was really tasty and we had a very generous Caesar salad with chicken and bacon - yummy. Good food, atmosphere, service and very reasonable. So nice to have such a comfortable and pleasant local place to relax with great friends. Ivy brought our food and was so lovely, even though it was packed and she had a lot on her plate! I liked this pub before, but now takes a bit getting used to, the drinks are good, but adding tiles has made main area very noisy, but garden is transformed so much better. I have not yet tried the food but drinks are good with range of beers and good wines

Great choice of beer, excellent service, an atmosphere that is not only exciting, but almost feels like a home away from home. The Glasshouse is the perfect place for a pint, good conversation and friendly faces!

They didn't seem very sure if they could reserve a table, but when we got there they had put one by for us. The menu isn't massive but we all found something we wanted, and we had no complaints with the food. Service was good and attentive.

I’m genuinely surprised by the negative reviews! Some people don’t like any change to their area I suppose? I think the Glasshouse is a fantastic pub now after the renovations. I reviewed a few months ago and was hoping for a change for this place.

Had the Glasshouse hot, wasn't disappointed, generous toppings of N'djula sausage and plenty of chili's, fine selection of craft beer as well and great service.

I gave this place a good review before, and am fairly regular there.

A very friendly family orientated pub restaurant in my opinion. The food was cooked well and tasted delicious. The friendly staff also provided an excellent customer service throughout our enjoyable family visit.

Amazing pub, the service is very quick and an all together lovely environment. Since the refurb I have seen some negative reviews but I think it’s it’s more inclusive to younger people now and has improved. Food good, friendly service, best pub in new Malden

My wife and I are in the UK from Canada visiting my sister in New Malden. We went to the Glasshouse on Sunday and have been back everyday since. Great food, good selection of beer and wine and everyone who works there is friendly and approachable. We even took her dog with us the other day and Harry, one of the bar staff made us feel very welcome and even got her a bowl of water...

My friends and I came to the Glasshouse for the first time few weeks ago. We really enjoyed the pizza! So tasty and authentic... good range of beers and wine and lively atmosphere.

Booked a table for five to meet up with a group of friends. The Glasshouse used to be somewhere you could get a nice meal or a glass of wine in elegant surroundings. Since the refurb it is now a noisy pub where you need to queue at the bar for food and drink even if you’re in the dining area (that’s assuming they actually reserved the table you’d booked). Only positives were the pizzas (good value and tasty) and the outside area (which we didn’t use but sounds like a nice touch). Staff were slow and indifferent. It took over 30 mins to resolve issues with the bill. A shame as I won’t be back. I can see the management responses on here are unapologetic for the changes, so don’t respond to this as it doesn’t sound like you’re bothered what people think. Upshot is: if you think Glasshouse is a nice dining option, think again.

What on earth have they done to this place since the revamp??? Customer service gone along with the lovely open fireplace that has also been ripped out....every other Wednesday is “open mic”.

Dark, unwelcoming, beer selection very poor service at the bar was so slow two customers left before getting served, I waited 14 minutes to get served.

Can only imagine that the 2 previous reviewers were in a different pub or are connected to the owner.

We've been to this pub a few times before but were never impressed. Heard about new management and decided to visit after the refurb... Wow!

What a stunning revamp! .....Been waiting what feels like an absolute age for it to reopen but finally it is and it’s great...Can see there’s a lot of negative going on but you must see it. Been buzzing ever since it opened...the outside bar..... WOW! Going to be the place to be in summer!!

Awful. Not sure what they are trying to achieve. High tables with low chairs. Decor peculiar, fish on ceiling, map of what appeared to be places no longer existing. Dark interior . Food so disappointing. Main courses - haddock &chips;, pasta & meatballs, bangers & mash and pie of the day. Asked if they had a specials menu they replied all our food is special. No it’s not. Tried the arancini not bad but cold, Cajun king prawns 3 very small prawns but only flavour on the shell, at just over £2 each not impressed. Small plate of fried chicken 2 small pieces of white chicken, just about cooked but cleverly managed to be lukewarm, blue cheese dip still waiting for the mould to grow. Overall a disappointing visit. There is nothing on the menu that inspires. Tried to look at the bottomless brunch menu but no food items listed. You could however order one brunch item and have bottomless cava, mimosas or Bloody Mary. Not sure what message that is sending out. From the wording you could order a sausage- if they do them and drink from 11-2.

We live locally and have visited this pub many many times. The pub was recently renovated and reopened on Thursday 14 Feb. We had high expectations given that the pub had been shut for a number of weeks, and decided to visit on Sunday 17 Feb.

Soulless pub with the dearest prices outside Central London.Went over the road to Bar Malden drinks a pound cheaper,pub was packed which says it all.

We live locally and have popped in a few times for a drink and once for a Sunday roast, which was quite nice. We went for a couple of hours this past NYE and it really wasn't great sadly. Speakers were glitching so music was on and off and the countdown announcements felt a bit like Phoenix Nights. A bit comical really. I've read that it is having a refurbishment in January, so we are excited to see how it turns out. Hopefully good food and wine selection in the future. New Malden is missing a good pub near the station.

The Glasshouse is a super pub, located just 100 metres from New Malden station. Good food, and plenty of beverage options - it’s a nice local for the area. With friends living nearby, I’ll definitely be back there for another bite and drink soon.

I visited The Glasshouse with my partner and his family and was expecting average food and service on a Sunday. How wrong was I! Food was absolutely divine and service impeccable. The portions were so generous and meat was cooked to perfection- very tender. I am already planning my next trip back!

A very refreshing evening! Hosted by Gary and a most enjoyable insight into Spanish wine and food pairing.

Gary lead us through a selection of white then red wines hinting at food choices that we might want to consider with each. A terrific evening, enjoyable and informative. Oh and the food though simple suited the occasion.

I called in last eve with a friend at approx 21.30 the bar was very quiet, there were about 6 other patrons. The actual bar was even quieter - no staff at all for several minutes. Eventually we we were served. The bar top was filthy and covered in spilt drinks. Virtually all tables had empty glasses sea in them. We chose to sit at a sofa which had dirty glasses, empty packets and other debris on it. We expected this to be cleared as we sat down as surprisingly four further members of staff appeared as if from nowhere. These items were not cleared away for the whole time we sat there 90 mins at least . See photo . My friend upon buying a second drink commented to the female member of staff that the bar top was disgusting and the spilt drink had stained her white too.The reply she received was “ We have been busy and it will be cleaned at the end of the night’” well in fact since we arrived the bar was empty, they were not busy and there were staff aimlessly wandering around . One particularly irritating young man thought it was amusing and maybe clever to parade around the bar with a chair balanced on his head as if in a circus.! Why were none of these people cleaning the bar or indeed our table ? Why was my friend not offered an apology?

This is a very nice place to pop in for a quiet drink or even for more larger gatherings. It has a wide selection of drinks and the food is very good. The staff are very welcoming and put the cherry on the cake.

I visited this pub for a meal with my sons. Having read the good reviews here on trip, i thought we were i for a lovely evening. We booked a table in advance and when we arrived went straight to the waiting area to be seated. We waited 10 mins with no aknowledgement from either of what seemed to be the only two staff working. Eventually my son approached the bar and a man said someone would be with us. More waiting. After anothe couple of minuets we were handed menus bit left to find a table and not shown to it. 5 minuets later a waitress came over to take our order, we asked to order drinks and whwn i asked what cocktails they did i was told they only did 2! As they have a sign up offering cocktail mixing lessons I found this strange. I asked for a G & T and what gins they had and was told just the 1 gin!!. After almost 20 mins we received our starters but still no drinks, however after an apology they arrived a min later. The rest if the evening went ok and food was nice. Stilton sauce with the steak was odd, very watwry with the blue veins of the cheese sitting congealed in the middle if the pot, looked dier. I was offered an alternative sauce bit chose not to bother. Steak was cooked perfectly. I do not like to moan but the customer service here was diabolical and this seemed mainly due to having so few staff on a very sunny evening. Also the place had a dirty feel about it, many tables not cleared and ladies bathroom was not nice, guessing not checked regulary due to lack of staff. Wont be back.

i like the glasshouse: it is not only a beautiful contemporary pub, it even has its own book club and fabulous wine appreciation society! the atmosphere is contemporary yet cozy. the food is of excellent taste and quality and presentation is very appealing, i really enjoyed the mixture of casual experience, great service and mouthwatering delicacies!

So feel like I should make the effort here and add a review since my last! Pleased to say the Glasshouse has improved a lot. I appreciate the change of hands had happened and took some time implementing the improvements. But everything Chris seems to be doing is working out. Enjoying the food more and am happy to spend my time and money there with no issue. The lick of paints an improvement too ;)

Great for drink late afternoon, staff is friendly and they have average wine and but a nice great vibe, the outside area is great, I was fortunate enough that it was a nice sunny day.

I've not eaten here I have to say but I've visited a few times for drinks etc.

Never liked this place years ago, as the menu was dull and over-priced. Now it's really good: comfortable dining area if you want to sit there, good varied menu, veggie friendly, good beer and wine selection, and friendly service.

Outside area is a disgrace and instead of cleaning it up have now filled the car park with cheap bench seating, all for £5.30 a pint, nice !

Have heard a few good and a few bad things but whatever changes have been made, they have worked. There’s a great atmosphere, friendly staff, really good food and it just feels like a nice place, which is all too often lost! Even has parking - now one of the better pubs in the area and happy to visit again!

This is where you go if you are snobby about the watchman. Fancy dining at the back. Small pub at the front. Nice refined atmosphere.

A great English Pub with a wonderful selection of beer. Especially their bitter collection. Nicely appointed pub, with a variety of seating options. From the bar to comfortable sofas. A good dining room as well.

Had a great pie in the Glasshouse, chicken, chorizo and pea. Looking forward to trying the next flavour.

Open mike on a Wednesday. All the musicians were the best I have heard compared to other pubs. All played a couple of songs. No hogging the stage. Will be back

We have been going to this wonderful gastro pub for many years and even the recent change of ownership has not changed the great atmosphere, food, wine and service.

Attentive service in the dining area good choice on the menu and great food all served in good time so that we could rejoin other friends in the bar and resume quaffing some fine ales and wine.

I had a friend from Scotland visiting & he kindly took me to the Glasshouse for dinner.. He chose the fish & chips & I had the chargrilled chicken salad, and we both chose the Creme Brûlée for pud - washed down with a very nice & reasonably priced bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We both agreed that all the food was delicious, with very good sized portions too - thank you to the chef! - and all at a very good price. The service was also very good as was the ambience there. A thoroughly enjoyable evening & will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Shall definitely be dining there again

This place has really got the atmosphere back, fire going in the restaurant which was lovely. Quick service from a smiling waiter, food was yummy we had the fish and chips, burger and the pie of the day. Would definitely recommend this place yo a friend.

I have been visiting The Glasshouse since it replaced The Railway many years ago. It was fantastic at the start. Despite basically vowing never to go again in recent months (see my previous reviews) it was incredibly convenient on Saturday night when we just wanted a couple of early evening drinks. We arrived at about 6pm, and there was a children's party taking place with about 80% of the comfortable seating area 'out of bounds'. Luckily, we managed to squeeze on to a sofa. I wanted a Gin with a mixer that The Glasshouse recommended on my last visit. Suddenly, they did not know what mixer I was talking about which I found odd. They offered no choice of Gins. Any Gin drinker knows that Gins can vary enormously. The barman seemed incredibly bored having to serve us. My husband had a couple of pints of Fosters, and in the end I had two half pints of Fosters as the Gin was ghastly. I had some pitta bread and humus, which was good, but here comes my biggest gripe. The prices!! We ended up spending between £40 and £50!These are Central London prices, in fact some London pubs are cheaper! My husband drank my Gin on principal! If the staff were friendly and the prices akin to a London suburb, it would be appealing. I just fail to see how The Glasshouse can maintain patronage with such exorbitant prices, limited drink choices and surly staff.

An unplanned midday visit on a mid-September Sunday surprisingly gave us the opportunity to try the Glasshouse Sunday lunch before the busy Sunday lunch rush. As the pub was pretty empty at this time we had a choice of seating and we opted for a table in the more characterful informal front lounge by the entrance instead of the more popular restaurant area at the back of the pub.

My husband finally got his bangers and mash here and really enjoyed it. I had the "special" that was pork with potatoes and carrots in a gravy.Sad to say it was sort of tasteless and bland. Sadly the green beans were best part of this dish. One friend had the Portobello burger and one had risotto - both thought those were tasty. So six of seven meals were really good. They also had a special on wine that went over well with the diners. It's dog friendly in parts of the pub and nice décor. Short walk to the train station if you need that.

I had 1/2 haddock with chips and condiments The Haddock was good light qualityand reasonably priced at £7.95 quite enjoyed itmy wife had special lunch at £5.95Although clean & spotless the Pub was not as popular as it used to bewe spotted about 10 couples only having Lunch

Nice evening... decor good...staff good... great location...near train station. Which is good for something to eat or drink after an uncomfortable train journey

I have been visiting The Glasshouse since it replaced The Railway (many years ago!). It was always my place of choice for dinner, drinks, meeting friends, etc. At the start, it was fabulous, and I loved it. I have reviewed it previously. However! The prices are now, quite frankly absurd. I am due to meet various friends in the coming weeks, and I find myself stopping from saying "Meet at The Glasshouse". It is literally two minutes away from where I currently live, so incredibly convenient. If you are planning on having dinner there, be prepared for a large bill. A round of drinks is absurd, and now a par, price wise, with Central London pubs. The menu is limited, in my opinion. The service in the restaurant area is good, I cannot fault that, but the prices are not in keeping with a London suburb. There are alternatives for a slightly shorter walk, and even my "20 something" sons say 'No, The Glasshouse is too expensive".

Best pub in New Malden by far. A little on the expensive side but good quality wine and great food. Also doesn't show sport (football) which suits me down to the ground!

Says uses taste card but on arrival didn't accept. Food is over priced for what it is. Service was also slow

Good pub. Haven't eaten here yet but would like to. Staff are friendly. Most recently went on a hot day and it was hot inside - the air con could be improved.

Went for a meal here after a local event. We were seated quickly. Menu was reasonable - fair amount of choice - with good specials on the board.Food was well presented and tasted good. Reasonably priced.Staff were friendly.

This is our summer spot and we frequent it often when the sun is out. Their beer garden is large and very comfortable, a fantastic spot for an after work drink at sunset.

Decorated and furnished better then before, was very busy so might have effected the average food, service wasn't to bad think a little short on staff. Pretty average pub menu on the expensive side

Really lovely pub in New Malden. Food is typical pub food but really good and not a bad price either and its dog friendly! What more could you want?!

Rated at no 6 for New Malden, I expected betterService was friendly and quick. The fish board for starters was good but the main event was poorFish and chips was disappointing. Greasy chips and a thin fish with lots of batterThe special was "lamb cutlets". In reality, more like flattened pieces of lamb in breadcrumbs served with a mountain of couscous and sieved tinned tomatoes. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day but that's not good enough at these prices

The Glasshouse is a spacious pub with comfortable chairs, a separate dining area but most importantly to me (and sadly increasingly rare) a piano which I have used for a sing along with friends. The drink prices aren't the cheapest but the pub has a pretty good atmosphere and is a nice place to have a drink with friends with the option of food (not tried at this visit). In summary I would say that this is the best pub in New Malden.

Really reasonably priced, roast dinner was good. Had its own car park so parking on the high street was not a problem! Food was lovely. And staff were incredibly friendly! Will definitely visit again!

Place seems to be going downhill recently? Pricing itself out of the market. Many former regulars drinking elsewhere.

Really good place with excellent menu and reasonable prices. Very comfy armchairs as wll as usual tables. Shall definitely visit again.

My girlfriend was down from Portsmouth and we thought we try out this pub.On entry we were greeted with a very warm welcome by the bar staff and it was a clean friendly pub. We had food and of course drink, and won't hesitate going back again and telling our friends.Reccomend this pub to anyone.

A very nice pub clean and friendly staff and good food although a bit pricey great pub for a evening out

Went here because of the previous good reviews. However the place was cold, more heating required. The starter of baked camembert was good, however after that things went downhill. We all had the roast pork which was overcooked and the vegetables seemed to be pre-cooked and reheated. The staff were attentive but i'm afraid the food was not good. We won't be returning.
