Had a bar meal, good menu and great food.

Quiet pub with a lovely atmosphere. Brilliant service from the bartender Mike- he's an asset to the pub, friendly, professional and attentive.

A good stay, an enjoyable place. 😉 Had to go for the Cumberland Sausgage breakfast. The Tandoori is worth a visit, and The Liifeboat

BEDBUG INFESTATION! After moving rooms once because the heater was broken and sounded like a jet was taking off, I was welcomed by bedbugs!! I got three bites on my arm and saw the bugs crawling down the bed - disgusting! When I moved room again, I was terrified to go to sleep in the bed and woke up an hour later with a bite on my finger and my wrist! Rooms are very dated and towels are about 100 years old! Beware staying here!! Although shout out to staff Mike and Alex who tried to make the best out of a bad situation…

Called in for a drink and the bar service was terrible. The lady behind the bar was very slow and couldn’t raise a smile, complaining when the buzzer went notifying her of food being ready to take to tables. This is the second time in recent months getting a similar poor service. Suggest some customer service training asap.

We didn’t stay at this hotel but had Sunday lunch here, service was not the best but the food was excellent.

Did not go in because it was closed at the time.

2am check in managed as someone was leaving the hotel. Receptionist was on hand to book us in and give us advice. Morning breakfast was freshly made on request. Good price @£65 for the on suite booked on same day.

Very dated , very basic and has a bed bug infestation in my room and a friends room. Getting out of here ASAP. Would've posted a picture but only had a video which I showed to the fella at the desk. They switched rooms for me but I don't trust the cleanliness of the place anymore

A very nice hotel with views overlooking the harbour. Staff are excellent and always available to help you out or simply have a chat. Food was amazing, would recommend a stay or a meal.

Friendly service, lovely food with plenty of choice.

Pleasantly surprised by this one, thought it might be a bit of a faulty towers but rooms were good, everywhere clean, staff nice and food good. Only thing for me was there was no casked ale, but that's just me I guess.

Didn't stay in a room, went for Sunday dinner. The staff were lovely and friendly the food was beautiful very well presented to. The dining area was lovely and clean and welcoming. Staffs uniforms were all great to they all looked the part and were helpful.

Called in for a meal and a drink while staying at the Marina campsite. Can't recommend enough. A very good menu with a first class service and top-notch food . Many thanks.

Great welcome on arrival, the beds need an upgrade. The room size is good. The bar is lovely& the night porter Will was so helpful and an all round top bloke. Solely because of will’s hospitality and going the extra mile i will be back. Not everyone who works the night shift is as enthusiastic and helpful as he was👍🏼

Came for a family meal with parents and daughter Wow!!! Fantastic value for money with a great choice on the lunchtime menu. A very special mention to Charlotte, whose customer service and organisation was exemplary. 11/10 - so refreshing to see a young person take care and pride in her job. Well done!!! We'll be back next year!!!

Just popped in for lunch was ok

Comfy bench type seats, I had a big fish (and chips) but unfortunately fish was thin and tasteless with soggy batter too..didn't taste fresh either, so disappointed. On a follow up visit similarly disappointed with a sickly tasting burger due to what tasted like out of date, musty garlic sauce, which didnt go with the blue cheese topping either. Customer interaction in my case, on both occasions, just stoney faced, with no feedback.During week until 5pm, two course special offers for £10.95 (2023)
