The Grand Bar in Warrington

We went for a cocktail masterclass (Jan 2025) and it was absolutely brilliant. We were really looked after. Chose 3 cocktails from the menu to learn, make and drink. Alex, our dedicated barman was amazing .. so friendly and made it really fun. Brilliant value for money and a lovely place. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Whether here for cocktail making experience and what an experience it was. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our table then brought complimentary Prosecco, we were then introduced to our bar tender. After about 10 minuted he came and took us to the bar, he showed us how to make our chosen cocktail then we made our own, we made three cocktails in the space of 2 hours. The place is vibrant, the staff are friendly and the whole thing was brilliant, would recommend to anybody.

An excellent afternoon tea was enjoyed by us as a family. The ambience of the bar is excellent and the food and tea. well presented. We have been several times and the Grand is the pride of Lower Bridge Street. Leo looked after us in a most kind and caring manner. The ladies enjoyed their cocktails!!

We visited for the Tina Turner Tribute night, she was amazing, we had a great time, the venue is stunning, the staff are attentive and the DJs music on the after party was perfect, I will be returning with friends soon

2nd visit in the last 6 months for afternoon tea.Same high standard of service and sandwiches/cakes and tea as from our 1st visit. Friendliness and attention from staff certainly enhance the experience.Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next visit.

Lovely place with very nice athmosphere! We went for a baby shower there so it can be hired for occasions as well. Drinks were nice and well priced, we didn't eat just have a few drinks.

The Grand is a nice place to visit. Its lovely inside and when we visited it on a Saturday, there was a singer there, we couldn't comment on the food because we didn't eat there. It's a shame that more people don't go there because it could be great. The staff were welcoming and efficient.

Music far to loud couldn't have a conversation.

This is a fabulous venue to celebrate a birthday . Management and staff are brilliant and do everything possible to ensure that your celebration is the best it can be. My daughter/ family and friends had an amazing time celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday.

Attended a 21st party. Great atmosphere but one member of staff needs a course in customer service. So rude and obnoxious at the bar. Asked him his name, he gave me a false one. Spoke to the bar manager, he confirmed he was actually called Mike. Put me off going back there if he is serving me ! My friend returned a drink that tasted strange, "Mike" asked her, what do you want me to do about it?! So rude.

Large group went for afternoon tea and although it's nicely decorated it's felt like a 2 hour in and out and go feeling. Shame really as we were out for the evening as well but took our party elsewhere where we felt welcome.

1st visit however it certainly won’t be the last. My wife and I visited today for afternoon tea ,which had been given to us as part of a present. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves , the service was great ( thanks Jimmy ) ,the food was 1st class with a good varied selection of sandwiches and cakes and the tea was plentiful. Well done and thanks

Attended on Saturday afternoon for a hen party. We had afternoon tea and bottomless prosecco. What a lovely venue and such friendly, accommodating staff! They couldn't do enough for us, including helping a wheelchair user with access. Food and drinks were delicious. I live out of area, but would love to return. Highly recommend The Grand for your function. Amazing afternoon ❤️

This was a Hen party and was absolutely amazing the staff were brilliant and accommodating I am disabled and they ensured that my scooter was safe and put it inside wonderful afternoon tea persecco flowed and maybe we were a little loud fabulous venue absolutely recommend it for any occasion x

Well what can I say about The Grand other than it is an amazing venue with top notch staff! Visited for a Hen Do and we booked 28 of us in for Bottomless Prosecco Afternoon Tea. The food was delicious, with home made cakes and scones. The Prosecco kept flowing throughout (I wouldn’t like to guess how many bottles we got through!) and nothing was too much trouble during our visit. The venue is beautiful inside, a lovely setting for a Hen Do, Baby Shower, Birthday Party etc. Special mention for Valentino and Jimmy who hosted us during our visit. They along with the rest of the team at The Grand were so friendly and helpful. Will be back again soon! Thank you!

We visited as part of a hen do, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff! They were really accommodating to all 28 of us! The prosecco kept flowing, and even non-alcoholic prosecco for those who weren't drinking! Thank you so much particularly to Valentino and Jimmy who couldn't do enough for us!

Had a fantastic night watching the George Michael tribute act last night, lovely bar, great atmosphere, plenty of staff on to make sure everyone had what they needed. Andrew Browning was amazing as George Michael, engaging with the audience, fantastic voice along side a brilliant performance. Had a great night out singing and dancing and basically letting my hair down. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

This is such a great place. We’ve been so many times because the cocktails are superb. It’s gorgeous inside and we recently had the best time at a surprise 60th birthday party. The staff couldn’t do enough for our guests even though they were very busy. Special mention for Val, Andreea they were just brilliant and Jimmy too. Thanks to you all for helping make it memorable.

Recently hosted my baby shower at the grand the venue is beautiful the staff are so accommodating and helpful all the guests had a the best time aged 18 - 85 so there is something for everyone would definitely recommend if your looking for venue hire x

I booked the Grand for Mother’s Day afternoon tea and it did not disappoint! The staff were lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely day!

Had the best evening at this fabulous bar on Friday evening, for a private function. The atmosphere was fabulous, the singer out of this world, and the magician unreal. The staff go out of their way to serve you and the standard of food and drink is extremely high. We had the best evening which flew by, and I have already booked afternoon tea and prosecco for my birthday in April.

We’ve been several times but I thought I would leave a review this time Valentin and his team went above and beyond and really made our afternoon. Warm friendly and funny we had a great time ❤️ also I knew envelope from Xmas felt lucky!!!!

Didn’t even get as far as ordering. 6pm Saturday evening we thought we would start out with a drink here. We walked in and the barman said sorry we have a private party in 10mins so the bar is closed.The whole place? Why didn’t they put a note on the door or lock the doors? I appreciate it’s more money to make with a private party but it’s the first time we tried and will quite honestly not go back. Poor.

We went on NYE and paid an inclusive price, we didn’t know what to expect and at one point considered cancelling, I’m so glad we never, the evening was brilliant, the team were fantastic, Amy & Andreea were our hosts, they looked after us so well and everyone made sure we had a great night, drinks didn’t stop flowing (maybe too many, ouch!) entertainment and surroundings were great!! A grazing box at 11pm was perfect. Thank you, we will be back

What a night! We went to the venue for our friends 30th, so the venue was private for the group. It was incredible. The staff were amazing, couldn't be more accommodating! Let us set up at 4.30 and helped with that too. Atmosphere was amazing, staff were fun and lovely! Definitely recommend this venue to anyone having a big occasion! Can't wait to go back!

Nice place and reasonably priced, the bar man with the beard (I think he was Scottish) was lovely and had a lot of knowledge on the cocktails, will be returning.

My friend and I had the bottomless afternoon tea. The food was lovely and fresh. Good portion size without feeling a pig. There was a live jazz band. The music was excellent and we enjoyed it. The decor is lovely and the booths give you privacy. The waitress worked very hard all afternoon, very pleasant staff. They had Negroni special menu offer. Which was a good price and I enjoyed the bitter orange option. Highly recommend and I will be visiting again. Food didn't last long enough for photo

Had bottomless brunch (vegetarian) was given TUNA sandwich. Would have thought in this day and age they would have known Tuna was not vegetarian.

Was served TUNA SANDWICH as part of the vegetarian bottomless brunch. Must have thought we would have drunk enough not to notice.

Visited Grand bar for belated Mothers day gift from my Daughters. Found staff very helpful and accommodating. Nice environment. We chose the Savory afternoon tea consisting of mixed sandwiches pork pie scotch eggs sausage rolls and assorted cheese and biscuits plate. Food was plentiful. We had bottomless prosecco. Our ice bucket was never left without a bottle. Booking is over 2 hr period. Definately recommend this venue

After walking through the door we were told that they were full. There were lots of free tables and all of the chairs at the bar were empty. We asked about one of the free tables and the manager said that they had a party coming in at 6pm, but that was 3 hours away. We also asked to sit at the bar but he said that people who had come for afternoon tea might want to sit at the bar. It was a very strange and embarrassing reception, especially after we were telling my sister how nice the staff were. I have absolutely no idea why we were turned away. He was also very rude and unapologetic. We will never return.

Really nice place, and the afternoon tea looked lovely. My main fault would be we were never asked about any allergies we had therefore leading to myself to not be able to eat any of the sandwiches they brought out (fish allergy) which was really disappointing. If you go and have allergies make sure you tell them as you probably won’t get asked anyways.

From the moment we telephoned to make a reservation, to the afternoon tea with bottomless prosecco, we felt that we were special guests. The lovely young staff were attentive, polite & friendly. They also were delighted that we had wanted to visit their bar & had travelled from Liverpool to do so.

Myself and my partner had the afternoon tea with unlimited Prosecco and it was a great experience. The venue is very classy with a great vibe. The staff are excellent and the afternoon tea is fresh and delicious. I had unlimited drought lager with mine and my partner had the unlimited Prosecco, both types of drinks were really nice and we were never left with empty glasses. Highly recommended and we will definitely be going again.

My self and my mum came on Saturday and had the afternoon tea with prosseco. I can say we had a lovely time the food was lovely and the prosecco kept on flowing. The staff are so helpful polite and friendly. The place is gorgeous inside so well decorated. We will most definitely be back and I will be recommending to my daily, friends and work colleagues

Warm welcome with offer of tea, coffee and water as we sat down. The afternoon tea was all we hoped for and proved to be excellent. Scones possibly best we’ve had. We had the ladies tea but there is a choice of gentlemen’s too. Those having it with Prosecco looked to be generously supping!o The staff were all smart, professional and friendly in the best sense The ambience of this bar is to be experienced and so classy. It has a metropolitan feel to it with a touch of the continental. Cannot praise it enough.

Came yesterday with my mum for the afternoon tea , the place is gorgeous inside so we'll done . Service was amazing such lovely staff very helpful and friendly. We had a booking for tickets to the New Years Eve Party 2022 which we were looking forward to. Upon arrival, we were all impressed with the room and drinks. The drinks package that were included in the price of the ticket we could not fault as it was brand gin and whiskey etc, so the men were happy! However, that's where it stopped. There was supposed to be a Live Swing Band and a Live Pianist for the night with entertainment starting at 7pm. There was no Swing Band just a man with his ipad on onstage singing to music, he was okay and then later on a random guy with a keyboard appeared on stage singing (I'm guessing this was the live pianist?) - all disappointing as he wasn't great and not much of the music you could dance to. What was advertised for this event didn't live up to expectations and felt we had been mislead. All the so called entertainment started over an hour late. The music was extremely loud, infact too loud and bad quality coming from the speakers near us and the platter that was served later on in the night didn't get us excited either. All in all, we were quite disappointed and we actually left half an hour before midnight for us all to go back to our house to bring the New Year in. I think my friend got in touch to complain and I don't think she's heard anything back. Regrettably we won't be going there again.

I have to say it is obvious that the owners pride themselves on delivering great customer service, staff very attentive and friendly. The table service is fantastic & nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The decor & atmosphere is fabulous with live music & dancing making for a great atmosphere. Drinks selection is vast, cocktails, fizz along with a great selection of beers and ales. Safe environment for customers to enjoy there occasion. Would highly recommend.

Came 2 weeks ago with 3 friends at 4pm for the bottomless Prosecco and afternoon tea, lovely atmosphere, extremely nice staff, great food and drink. We arrived early so sat at the bar and had a delicious cocktail. Stayed till about 8pm and had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend! Thankyou x

I visited here yesterday for a traditional afternoon tea for two. The staff were very courteous, polite and pleasant. The food was absolutely divine. Selection of sandwiches with four different fillings catered to our allergy and dietary needs. The cakes and scones were delicious and the ensemble even had fresh strawberries. They gave us a second pot of tea. The little girls room was extremley clean and adequately equipped. Overall the place has a very welcoming relaxing vibe; we had a very enjoyable chilled out afternoon. Well worth a visit if in Warrington

Second time we have visited , well worth a visit you won't be disappointed . Beautiful surroundings, attentive staff . Will definitely be returning

Had the afternoon tea with Prosecco twice in the last month. Excellent on both occasions. Had a few gins as well, the bar is very nice with excellent table service, staff are friendly, and clearly know their stuff, can’t fault the place, staff or product. Mustn’t forget the live singer on Saturday, he was excellent.

Went to see Beyonce Tribute ..was really good ..got the crowd really going .. and the DJ after was brilliant

Came into the grand today. The decor amazing, 1920’s art deco. I felt so gatsby. The staff were amazing we had Oliver and I couldn’t thank him enough came with my grandparents and just treated us like royalty. Will definitely be back in the new year.
