The Grasshopper in Crawley

Went last night with my girlfriend for the first time,lovely place to spend the night,very friendly staff especially the manager Zoltan.

An infrequent visitor, but must mention there have been some enormous improvements to the gents facilities - wow! The pub has a friendly atmosphere, and very good service from the staff. Clean and tidy, with lots of seating available. Reasonable range of drinks - and a fair menu.

This is a local pub, predominantly for locals, mainly working class, friendly enough, at first, until it’s late and everyone is drunk, this is not our local, we attended a karaoke night for a pre stag do drink the week before the actual stag do abroad, a guy in our party had an altercation with with a young lady and ended getting knocked out by some bloke, I saw the security guy watching, he did nothing, he didn’t even move, I ended up having to pick our friend up off the floor and taking him outside. I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it, just keep your wits about you if you plan to visit this locals pub, because no one will help you out if you’re a drunk idiot. On the upside the drinks were cheap and fast, plenty of space, pool table and acceptable toilets.

We were here on Friday night for the comedy show and it was honestly so much fun! I dont know how they do it but the comedians that they had (and have on next time) are excellent my face was sore from laughing so much! We had the pleasure of speaking to TJ the owner of the pub after the show, such a nice, down to earth man who made us like the place even more! We will definitely be back again soon and will certainly bring our friends and family along! I would 100% recommend this place any night but definitely on a Friday night when they have the comedy show on you will not regret it!

A good pub with everything you may want - service, beer, cordiality, an excellent burger, and a jukebox plenty of good songs. The people that went there is very friendly!

Joined a brother in law at The Grasshopper. Good range of drinks. Staff are friendly & efficient. You will know if any football is playing! Definitely a local pub - somewhat of a community centre.

Cant go wrong with this place, good beer, fast service, friendly staff and locals and plenty of space and seating. Large function room one side and pool tables available to use at £1 a go. Children welcome till 9pm This really is a lovely pub with regular events and entertainment. Definitely worth a visit.

Was invited to go for a few beers, & was pleased that The Grasshopper had been chosen. Have only ever had good beer & good service whenever I have visited. Fortunately the same again, lovely welcome & good beer & service. The locals are very friendly, al in all a good 'pub'.

Pop in here infrequently to meet the brother in law. Have always been welcomed by the bar staff: always ready to serve & efficient in their work. Lovely atmosphere for a quite large pub, plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere always feel comfortable Nice range of beers, & delivered well.

Owners and staff very welcoming Great selection of drinks including real ales and high end vodka, whiskey and Cognac The food is really good not too much going on the simple test pub grub. One of the great things about the pub is that the atmosphere was brilliant people having a laugh and joke all night long, being welcomed in by the regulars is always a great thing.
