The Hapton Inn in Burnley

Went for Sunday lunch, yesterday 19/01/2025 absolutely beautiful roast beef dinner, served in a warm a friendly environment. Will definitely be back for more.

We have been here a few times now and cannot fault anything. A good family pub restaurant with really good home cooked food and really friendly service and atmosphere. We would highly recommend that you visit for food and a drink. We have made this our go to place for date night.. well done to the Hapton Inn

Stopped by after a dog walk with my hubby for a couple of beers, found the Hapton very dog friendly and accommodating, leading us to visit for food on a later date which was excellent, which then led us to choose to have a boxing day meal with family here ,then a ticket to the NYE,s party which was an absolute fabulous evening, well worth the ticket price, good food ,good music and a good atmosphere ,the owners are so welcoming and friendly, we look forward to visiting the Hapton in 2025 😊

Visit here every Friday lunchtime never been disappointed. Have become friendly with Lee and Beccy who have us in stitches. Food excellent and fairly priced. Would highly recommend. Garry and Freda

This is our 2nd visit. We booked as its usually busy. It wasn't busy but it was 4.30 in the afternoon. Food took a while to arrive but was hot and delicious and there was plenty of it. During our time there, the female owner constantly told off the young man behind the bar, we could hear her over the music playing. The lady behind said I'm going to say something. Her friend said - I wouldn't as she'd probably shout at you. If I'd have been the young man I'd have walked out. The waitress we had was lovely. I even asked her if the female owner ever said please and or thank you. Hence the reason for 3 stars

Packed out as they had a function on but staff still attentive, service excellent and food was delicious, cheese & onion pie was tasty and steak & ale pie was full of tender beef. Great meal.

My 1st starter was delicious,I also had starter for main with some S&P chips too..the seasoning was so overpowering and completely ruined my meal,and my dessert was cold..waitress was new there but was lovely and helpful..the landlord on the other hand was awful and rude and wasn’t accepting my complaint..

We did say we wouldn’t return but glad we did… fairly busy 3 staff on who was very good for their age, very attentive and friendly. Wife had pizza which she loved and I had cheese pie and chips which also was very tasty. Couple of glasses of wine and bobs your uncle! We had a great hour and half well done to all, I will be back…

Lunch time not special nor offer !!! My husband order the chicken salad off the specials board which was not remotely special and bland . I ordered the lunch time special ,, which stated choose sandwich and chips off main menu .. I ordered the prawns , which when arrived consisted of 4 x fried prawns only . No chips but 5 crisps ?? When I asked they stated no chips on lunch menu yet lunch menu told you to pick off main menu sandwich list very disappointing for price of both meals . Won’t return nor recommend , customer service poor on complaint also .

Found myself a new friendly pub no idiots excellent food good service and a fresh pint friendly staff I’ll be coming more often well done compliments to the chief

We only live down the rd we came here 6 months ago and it was just ok ! We have been told it is under new management so we thought we would give it a try. It might be under new management but someone needs to tell them to hire some staff? It was quiet busy and the girl behind the was taking orders collecting the glasses serving the food too much for one staff? We had a long wait for food and the fish was quite greasy. The girl was pleasant but you could obviously see the stress building. I don’t think we will be back.

We were out on a 18th birthday gathering,were told when ordering food there would be delay ,waited 1 HR 30 mins until food arrived ,food quality not brilliant, my wife couldn't eat fish and chips ,so bad , we complained of slow service and poor food ,they in fairness said we didn't have to pay for the food ,but it spoilt our birthday celebration,need extra staff to cope with the smooth running of business.

Disappointing visit tonight. I heard that all the staff had quit and when we went in there were none of the usual staff in. We were sat down and ordered drinks and shortly after food. we drank our drinks and after the young waitress walked past us with empty glasses we pushed them to the edge of the table. 3 more time she walked back and forth whilst training another young staff member. Another girl came and asked us if we were done with our glasses, which were next to the unwrapped cutlery and napkin, clearly unused. At no point did any of them ask us if we wanted more drinks. By this time I'd had enough and I went to the bar and asked to pay the drinks for the table. The young girl that seated us and took our order, cancelled the food without asking why. Whilst I appreciate that the staff are young and new there's no excuse for ignoring customers.

Went for lunch today. The food was excellent. Unfortunately the steak & ale pies weren’t ready so they had the cheese & union pies instead, my husband said they were excellent. My brother had the lamb shank and he was impressed with it, I had the chicken burger which was excellent. Portion sizes were good. Definitely will go back again.

Excellent food the fillet steak was delicious and service was great. Didn't take long for food to arrive and good atmosphere. Will go again.

Called in today, hungry on way back from a long day out, wasn’t holding much hope of a table as it was father’s day, they was happy for us to stay but had to sit outside, lovely day for it and happy to sit in the lovely beer garden dining, had beef brisket ciabatta & chips, lamb ciabatta & chips and a child’s sausage & mash, all meals were so good, well worth a visit, friendly staff, excellent food and lovely atmosphere!
