Una lástima como pub de aspecto bonito.

Came here for dinner with my parents. Was greeted by a very welcoming host with Christmas antlers. The waiter was brilliant, clearing up plates after each course promptly. The food was brilliant, even outcompeting some restaurants in the area. Big credit to the management, the waiting staff, and last but not the very least, the kitchen team, headed by a very strong head chef, who clearly knows what they are doing. Great location, great food, service friendly. Service was a little slow and needed a prod hence 4 stars, but would definitely recommend it. Between four of us we had beef cheek cottage pie, Guinea fowl, mushroom risotto and a mezze, a glass or two of wine each and one coffee, around £145 for four of us, so around £35 each and given the location, pretty good really. Solid pub with some great food. My wife and I both had the beef cheek cottage pie with bone marrow which was exactly what the doctor ordered on a chilly day. Washed it down with some ale. Service was attentive and friendly.

We got there about an Hour before closing! And ordered us some beer and cider! Was lovely atmosphere! The drinks were great! I think the staff might have been a little tired from a long shift but still helped with everything we asked for!

Sirloin Roast was not edible. Very stringy and could not cut very easy even with a steak knife. Staff petting a dog and I'm not sure that the washed their hands afterwards.

Food doesn't need to be that over complicated but the charge for a truffle is found and I'm happy to give a tip on my own accord on a table for 3 I don't want with a child's portion been a toddler portion and then charging me extra without notifying

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere but gastro pub it isn't. Two of us had the haddock and both plates were missing the minted peas. Fish was acceptable but nothing special. One had the burger, which was quite small and again not memorable. Thrice cooked chips were nothing more than french fries. Two had apple and blackberry crumble with chocolate ice cream, an odd combination that! There was a smattering of crumble above some frozen jammy fruit. Not acceptable. Mentioned to one of the staff who just shrugged his shoulders.

What a beautiful pub in the heart of London. Pleasant walk from the museums and a nice outdoor seating place which is a rarity in London. Only stopped in for a cider which was lovely. But saw some food being delivered to a table which looked incredible. Would definitely visit again

Went for a girls lunch with daughter and friend. I had the salmon sandwich and it was barely edible. Bread and filling very dry. Daughter’s sandwich was also dry with very little filling (pastrami). Student server was inattentive. But the killer was the lav. SO smelly. Very disappointed as had had good food here in the past.

Nice busy bar in a posh corner of London. Our food was good, although a little lacking in choice for vegetarians. They have a good range of beers on tap and in bottles, cocktails and wines.

We were looking for a casual pub to have dinner on our first night in Kensington and we noticed the Hereford Arms while walking by. It was 5:30 pm and we asked the manager at the reservations desk if we should make a reservation, and he replied that he had a few tables available but yes reservations are a good idea as the pub fills up very quickly. We sat at a table on the right side of the dining room away from the bar which was less noisy and we both ordered Fish & Chips along with a pint of the house lager with both being an excellent choice. The atmosphere, service and food was great and we could see as to why this pub was crowded. By the time that we finished our dinner the entire pub both inside and outside was full.

Authentic and laid back British pub vibes, though a bit loud at times. Busy when we arrived on a Saturday evening, but we were seated immediately and got quick and attentive service. The cottage pie came with some cabbage and a beef bone segment with marrow. It was quite tasty, as was the fish and chips, which came with some tartar sauce and peas. Recommended!

Weird pub. Beer is available from the bottle, but for draft beer you have to ask the waiter. Very loud in the room and strong kitchen smell. Empty tables are marked as requiring reservation, even though no one is coming.

Top fish and chips on a Friday night before a trip to the Royal Albert Hall. Good beer with some non Fullers options. Friendly and helpful staff plus generally friendly atmosphere amongst the punters. Definitely worth going- I'll be back

Not allowed to make any noise in this pub without a bar staff telling you to pipe down. Was rudely asked to move by three members of staff so they could clean a table that was nowhere near me. Drinks are over for the level of service. (Don't ask for a spritzer as you will be rudely asked how many ice cubes you want in your drink) (Obviously it's a spritzer so you must want ice duh was the response to my answer of I don't know maybe a few) It's a pub for one person per table who sit and nurse pints without saying a word. Bit worrying when you can order a burger and it comes out in less than 5 minutes from ordering. Microwave special perhaps!

Visited on a Sunday lunch time after a weekend in London. I had lamb shanks, it was lovely and very tender. It was busy with lots of full tables but the service was still quick.

Easy walk from our hotel, and easy for our friends who came over on the tube. We met for dinner and had reservations. Friendly staff, pleasant pub environment. Good selection of drinks and good menu. We had heard good things about the fish and chips, so there were several orders of that, along with a salad, and another fish entree. Food was good, but not great. We had better fish at other places during our vacation, but also had worse. Server was very good, and it was a nice place to meet up with friends. Prices were as expected. Recommend if you're in the area.

The service was terrible, they put us on the end of another family's table, it took about 20 minutes for our drinks to come to our table. The staff were barely around and it took about 10 minutes to try and get someone's attention to pay before we just went to the till instead. They overcharged us for two of the drinks and charged a 15% service fee without telling us before that it would be added. If we knew before paying that the service fee would be so much we probably would've asked for it to be removed due to the horrible service and how rude some of the staff were.

I saw this establishment en route to another pub and this place was extremely busy, it was swarming with people so the Hereford arms was in the back of my mind. On my way back home, I decided to come to this place for dinner. The staff were lovely and welcoming, I cracked jokes with them and ordered a lamb roast. The food came in timely fashion and ate like a king. The roast was divine, the atmosphere in the pub was homely and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. If you're in the Gloucester road area and you're thirsty or hungry, come to this lovely pub 😊

Great pub. Very helpful, speedy and thoughtful service at the bar despite it being rush hour on a Friday night. Excellent selection of gluten free beer on tap, and GF beer bottles. Kitchen was open surprisingly late, until 9:45, so we could order food.

My husband and I were very disappointed by our visit here for Sunday roast. The food was very bland and the meat was fatty. The servers hardly paid attention to us. We will not return.

We have lived in Kensington for 25 yrs and never ventured out this far because of the countless options available. We can honestly say, after today's visit, we'll be back. Thanks to all especially Ellie. But everyone great.

Worst roast we’ve ever had. Beef was overcooked (only the top presentable piece was pink) and half of it was just fat. Lamb was bland. Gravy was watery and lacks flavour. Pork was ok. Mid pints of guiness. Service staff paid little to no attention to us although pub was half full. Better off going to zetland arms.

Overpriced, slightly pretentious menu, poorly executed. Rigatoni came up in 5 minutes (hello microwave?), watery tomato sauce, and tasteless bufala moored sadly in the middle. 17 quid! Friend had macaroni cheese with truffle oil – bland tasting. One of those pubs that's been ruined by being turned into a version of a restaurant from a cross channel ferry. Avoid.

Love this pub and the food is delicious. Staff is let's say so and so. Some are incredibly nice and kind and some can be quite rude to you and show you how you clearly disrupt their doing nothing. So it's a hit and miss. I definitely keep coming back despite that.

Couldn't have asked for better atmosphere as we were there during the England vs. Slovakia Round of 16 in the Euro 2024. It was a lot of fun to celebrate that match. We got the shrimp and marinated olives and each got a Sunday Roast for dinner. One with Sirloin and one with braised lamb. Everything was fantastic!

The hotel recommended me this place for fish & chips. Can’t say that this is the best but it was not bad, fish was flaky with creamy note but texture was a bit too soft. The beer & Guinness were fresh. The sticky toffee pudding was not really good due to the strong soda / bicarbonate taste.

The wait staff said they were known for their fish and chips. We try to experience favorite foods/specialties in the countries we visit, so we had to have the fish and chips. We were very pleased with the portion size, flavor, and freshness of our food. It was a soccer night, and you could tell locals were gathering, which is also a good indication everything's going to be good.

More a London theme pub. I used to live in London, but now everything is like walking into a made for TV film pub. American and Chinese audiences only. The staff were great, though. It's just a shame that everything is a replica of the real world.
