A clean relaxed atmosphere whilst adhering to current COVID-19 ruling. The staff are friendly and efficient whilst serving tasty snacks and meals. A variety of dishes available both for vegetarians and meat eaters and if vegan - just ask as they state on their menu that they can accommodate you! Well priced and good portions. The tables are all dressed in pure white linen, which in itself is inviting. Dining can be taken indoors or outdoors when the weather allows, plus a dog bowl outside which means pooches are allowed w-hey! Just another mention for the staff as they go above and beyond during very difficult times within hospitality-WELL DONE! We will be back:-)

My mothers side of the family all originate from Lanark, and it has probably been the best part of close to 20 years since I last visited. After a day out with my family in the Clyde Valley, we decided to pop in to Lanark so I could see my grandparents house and for a visit to New Lanark. Around 5pm we decided to make our way home, but knew it would be close to 7pm before we were home, so decided to go for something to eat. We planned to eat on the main street, but when parking our car, out the corner of our eye we noticed a little place tucked down a little alleyway. Upon further inspection we were really happy with the look of the Hidden Courtyard, and decided on the spot to go here. Really fantastic and welcoming vibe to this place and staff are fantastic. Its bring your own bottle, and there is a Aldi next door where you can purchase alcohol for your meal. Pretty good menu, with my wife ordering the fish and chips, I went for the burger and my two daughters the mac n' cheese. Excellent and fresh food that was ready in no time, and resulted in 4 empty plates. My daughters had the "pizza"/"posh crepe" deserts, which resulted in two more empty plates. All in all a wonder time had here and next time we are in Lanark, we will return here again.

Planned a meal out for our anniversary. Service was good. Restaurant wasn’t too busy. Unfortunately, we ordered the chateaubriand which despite asking for it to be medium/rare it arrived well done. We highlighted this to the waitress but were told it was due to the cut. We sent some of the meat back to the kitchen but received no comment or apology. After paying the full bill and upon questioning the waitress acknowledged the meat was overcooked. Having paid £105 for an overcooked piece of beef I am very unhappy. Avoid this place.

Pizza Daddy is my favorite spot in Hamilton for pizza. The menu is fun and creative, and the dough is amazing. It is light, flavorful sourdough and so much better than the heavy and bland dough you get at chain places. It is perfect for dipping into their homemade mayo. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and always make sure you are looked after. Their chips are also a highlight, easily the best around. Great value and amazing food. This place never disappoints.

Went for a meal with the family out for a meal ordered the tomahawk steak which had no tast or substance to it. Steak is my favourite meal. This one put me off for life.
