The Hogless Roast in Tower Hamlets

He tenido estas un par de veces en el VCO, excelente comida. Desearía que hicieran cosas así donde vivimos. Esperando viajar a Londres pronto para probarlos de nuevo. El crepitar está tan bien hecho que está lleno de sabor. No puedo recomendar su comida lo suficiente.

He pedido de The Hogless Roast durante los últimos años y nunca me decepciona, ya que la comida es consistentemente de gran calidad y delicioso. También he introducido algunos amigos y familiares no veganos en su comida y todos ellos han comentado lo mismo. El menú también es variado y atiende a diferentes gustos, lo que significa que ha sido una gran opción para mí y en las noches en que he tenido invitados para comer.

No llegué a probar la comida, ya que el chef canceló mi pedido a pesar de mí! No entendí el procedimiento de recogida, ya que había cierta confusión entre lo que el personal del bar en el lugar me estaba diciendo y los chefs que trabajan en el punto de venta. No tengo un teléfono inteligente y, por lo tanto, no pude recibir una notificación de cuándo estaba lista mi comida. En lugar de ayudarme, el chef empeoró las cosas, frustrándome. Luego canceló mi pedido frente a mí de una manera muy infantil y rencorosa. Llevaba tiempo queriendo probar su comida, pero estoy sorprendido por el trato que recibí.

(review of catering rather than visit to the actual business in London) Where, oh where, to begin. We booked The Hogless Roast for our wedding completely blind. A small indie company with outstanding 5-star reviews, trying to change the world by providing delicious plant-based food that truly doesn't cost the earth 🌎 Well, if going in blind is anything to go by, then SOMEONE TAKE MY EYES 👀 Just like everything at our wedding, Matt and his crew were beyond perfect. In every way. 🍔 Pulled pork burgers that were so close to meat they had my dad - and everyone else - fooled 🍟 The most incredible hash browns with a ration of fluffy inside to crispy outside that literally had me crying out for more (I tell you now, from now on, the smaller the hash brown, the better) 🥬 A blissfully fresh salad bar with the best vegan coleslaw, pickled red cabbage, and mixed leaves that you ever did see 🍝 and Mac 'n' cheese that literally blew everything else out. of. the. park. Honestly, every bite of this meal had me wishing I'd married the food instead, but this creamy richness of was literally the divine holy grail of pasta. 🍦Followed by Hackney Gelaton vegan gelatos which if you aren't aware already, are the best vegan ice creams that exist and I which would willingly trade all my limbs for 😍 Vegan has never tasted so good 🤤 But you can tell they're not just there to get the job done, to advertise, or to make a porky profit. Everyone was so friendly and charming, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Never thought I'd be bonding with owner Matt about the savagery of online hackers over a box of dirty hash browns, but there we go💚 If not on your wedding day, then when? Matt also mentioned that they create almost no food waste which made me love them even more (as if that was even possible) 🌍 Guests were saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and that they couldn't believe it was vegan 👌 I'm not one for militant vegan propaganda but I can't say I wasn't chuffed. TYSM @thehoglessroast you haven't seen the last of us for sure - or the 100 wedding guests who couldn't shut up about you

My partner and I came to London to celebrate our 9 year anniversary: during our stay we wanted to try out the Hogless Roast food as we have booked it for our evening reception food in August this year . We were not disappointed - in fact, it just made us incredibly excited! I’ve been vegan for nearly 6 years, and am not a HUGE fan of ‘fake meat’ - this is by far the most delicious vegan burger I’ve ever had. The combination of flavours is incredible - I could have eaten another two. We also ordered the Mac and Cheese which hit the spot. We have ordered a few extra sides for the wedding, but we have no doubt that they will be equally delicious. We cannot wait for our guests to try this food too. It will definitely too our evening off.

The food here is unbelievably good. The hash browns blow your socks off and I like the range of dips, A LOT. The fake pork is genuinely the best I've ever had. Would recommend and hope to see more restaurants open over the UK (hint hint, Bristol)

Wow. Five of us with different diets and different tastes all thoroughly enjoyed our Hogless Roast takeaway and can't wait until we are in the area again as we'll definitely be ordering it again. SOOooooo delicious. Superb vegan food.

Okay so I never visited the London premises, I visited them at vegan campout, I was so happy to see them there, it was my first food choice (like, literally the first place I went as I entered the site!) It was amazing, super tasty, great crackling (what is this sorcery?!?!) and the little hash browns & braised red cabbage was heaven … i could seriously have eaten it again the next day.

Stuck for words to describe how good this was. Simply the best sandwich I have ever had. Nice setting in Queens yard and the bonus of having Howling Hops brewery next door.
