The new manager has made a massive difference.. well done..

We booked online and the table was reserved when we arrived. Ordered via the QR code starters & mains. Was informed by the waiter that the Leek & Potato soup was not available yet was able to order online. He Informed us could only have alternative that cost the same. We asked if we could have anything starter as my wife didn’t like any of the same price options. I wanted the Gammon that was on the menu yet this wasn’t available online ordering. No issues with food quality and temperature. Service was rather plain with little interaction from the waiter just put the food on the table didn’t even say hello or welcome. Appreciate this is a pub but no check back from any staff. Asked for a Cherry Brandy and didn’t have any and the Dark fruits was flat.

The whole atmosphere of the place was great, Emma was very helpful with recommending us starters to go along with our mains and had a fun chat at the bar whilst waiting for our drinks. The food was fantastic and drinks crisp and cool. Will be back soon!

Great pub! Great staff! Always a friendly atmosphere and the whole staff celebrated my birthday. Emma was so lovely to talk to and knew exactly what I wanted to order. They also have dog treats and water so next time we will be bringing our dog ♥️. The chicken pieces are the best things ever created!

We had a wonderful Christmas lunch, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the staff were brilliant. I broke my ribs and was in hospital, we were hoping I would be out for Christmas so my wife called to ask if we could have an accessible table as I would come in a wheelchair for safety. She spoke to Amy and she was lovely and kind and even offered to make my meal as a takeaway if I was still in hospital, really going above and beyond!! Luckily I was discharged in time and we had a fabulous afternoon. Thank you to Amy and all the staff for making our Christmas dinner extremely enjoyable!!

It's a nice pub, dog friendly which I love as I have 3 dogs. Very disappointed to see customers there who are known by the staff with a dog on the seats. I love dogs but don't want my clothes covered in dog hair

We had a large group of over 20 for a 60th birthday celebration. Catered for everyone (even the fussy 1s) Communication was great from booking though to our meal. The table was ready when we arrived (we arrived early as well) food came out promptly and all orders were spot on. Food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal (empty plates all round). Friendly staff that were extreamly helpful. We will be back soon. Thanks for an amazing meal

Hadn't been for some time, but it hadn't improved. Just all round lack of interest. No one came to check if our meal was OK. It was OK, but not exceptional.

The pub was quiet. Beer £5 a pint. Puppy Labradors were cute. No cycle parking evident. Staff friendly enough.

Tried here as looking for food late Sunday afternoon. My partners pizza looked a lot less appetising than a frozen Lidl pizza, certainly not worth £12.79. My steak was cooked well but the steak was very grisly and chewy. Both meals very disappointing

Came to the hollow tree this afternoon for lunch. Food was delicious. Hannah Mae was great and a friendly member of staff.

My wife and I and granddaughter had an early evening meal here. I have been a few times and the Staff are always happy ,obliging and efficient. The meal was really good, my mixed grill was amazing value, my wife had a chicken dish and granddaughter a kebab dish and fries. All of us enjoyed the food and the pleasant unhurried atmosphere. It’s a good place for both adults and youngsters to enjoy a decent meal at sensible prices.

Went here with my family yesterday lunch time, the food was amazing came out really hot and quick, the drinks where fresh in branded glasses and cold. They checked back on food excellent from mitch!

Way over priced drinks and no price list for drinks I could find (l asked a server at the bar if there was one and he only responded by asking what kind of drink I was looking for). Not is super convenient and doesn't make for a great experience in terms of making sure you get what you want at a price you're ok with. When we were seated my friend remembered there was code on the table for online ordering where maybe we may have found a drinks list? (however the code/app had not worked the previous time we had visited).

Had a 30% off voucher but bar man would not let us use it saying they were told not to accept them till 28th October dispite no start date on voucher !! Average food, sticky tables.Will not visit again.

Our family arrived with a great male singer performing, though he was nearly done with his set and customers, including us, clamoring for more. We ordered food and drinks, staff was great and cordial, and we were very happy with everything. Great first time experience for us, and we'll definitely be back! Though it will take quite a while for us--me and my husband, to be back since we will be flying back to Manila in two weeks. Though my daughter and her family lives here in Bradley Stoke, they said they will definitely be back and be regulars there already.

Great atmosphere great food always love a curry and a pint deal on Wednesday basically get a free pint Monday to Thursday with food and Rachel was very helpful.
