As always the food was delicious and fresh 😋 Ample parking is available.

We ordered via Uber Eats following a recommendation and it was perfect. We ordered fish pakora which were clearly made the traditional way and tasted amazing. We also had a mixed grill where the spices were absolutely perfect.

After another visit I can only say that this is some of the best food I have tasted. Great portions and fantastic service. Pricing is competitive and reflects the quality, if you are looking for a taste experience then this is the go to place! You won't be disappointed

Quite simply in 67 years, this is the best Lamb Vindaloo I have ever eaten, naan bread nice and tasty and the fried rice was not to oily. In all a fantastic meal for not much money. PS great pint of Guinness as well 👏👏👏

Lovely food, I personally don't like the chutneys that come with the poppadoms but everyone who I've been with does. So it really is a personal thing. Portion sizes are great, food is served hot & presented nicely. We have alot of the lamb dishes (which we would usually avoid in other places) because the lamb is so nice! Staff are friendly & very helpful. Definitely has a pub atmosphere. Very welcoming!

This isn’t the first time we have been here, and every time we come we get recognised which is very nice. It was a little busy last night due to it being nearly Christmas, but a table was found for us very quickly. The barman Jack even remembered our drinks order. When our friends arrived we ordered our food from the kitchen hatch( I personally like this you can see your food being cooked, the chefs are always busy.). Have to ask for mine without peppers and this is never a problem. Plates come hot (keeps your food and hands warm) and the food is always delicious. I also like the fact they only ask once if everything is ok. ( hate being pestered). I never finish my food so ask for a foil takeaway container to put the leftovers in and take home. This is definitely my favourite go to for a meal out. The prices are very reasonable and portions a good size too. All in all a great night out. You do have to go to the bar to order your drinks, but I don’t find that a problem and feel it keeps the prices competitive. Keep it up guys

The food is incredibly tasty and comes in large portions, larger than what you'll find at other Indian restaurants. They also have a great range of beers. The place is nice and clean too.

Simply sublime, brilliant location super atmosphere and the best food I’ve eaten in a long time

My family and I just enjoyed a curry, and it was simply divine. The portions are enormous. It’s the best curry we've ever tasted. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff and a spotless environment.

Had a few takeaways from here. Not very good quality chicken. Very chewy in both dishes. Sauce was better. Not oily and fairly spicy. Naan was flat as a pancake it was more like a tortilla. Same menu as the New Horseshoe Bar and Grill which is I think is better. Won’t be ordering again.

Fantastic food, friendly service from all the staff, lad behind the bar offered us both a sample of new drinks to try before buying which was a great idea going above and beyond for customers. Good quality food, served hot and quickly with a reasonable price. Two adults with starter/mains/4 drinks around £50.

The food is amazing, lovely atmosphere and Jack is brilliant, a great credit to the restaurant with his always friendly welcome and really attentive.

Very good quality food. I find the flavour spot on, but people I've taken have commented on it being a bit spicy. So don't be too adventurous on your first visit.

Went here for the first time with my family to celebrate my birthday, the welcome was cold and unfriendly by the old man behind the bar who I believe may have been the owner. I did try & have a friendly chat with him but it seemed as though he was not interested. There was a old musky smell in the air like there was a dirty cloth being used to clean the tables. The young man that served us was okay and the kitchen staff/chef clearly know what they are doing as the food came out hot & fresh and apart from the chicken curry where the meat was too dry the rest of the dishes as well as the Elephant Grill was very tasty but no one bothered to come to the table and ask if everything was okay. I think the owner really needs to up the game in customer service as currently it’s non existent. So due to the unwelcoming feeling & negative nature from The Hungry Elephant, I will not be returning here nor would I recommend it to anyone. They are many decent Desi Grills in the area that would welcome my business.

I've been to the New Horseshoes Bar and Grill multiple times, and I’m amazed at how much the service has improved. I honestly have no complaints—it deserves a full 5 stars for flavor, presentation, and speed of service. I want to praise the team for their outstanding hospitality. They provide an excellent variety of drinks, and the decor sets a lovely ambiance for any occasion. Great job, everyone—keep up the excellent work!

Chicken Bhuna was particularly mouthwatering.Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I would eagerly recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting!

We ordered 6 popadoms, only 3 arrived at the table, we asked for 3 more. When they came one was mouldy. On our last visit we had a mouldy popadom too. The ladies toilet absolutely stunk of sewage, I was almost sick and the lady in the cubicle next to me was struggling with the smell too!

Great value food in a vibrant environment. I had a chicken jalfreizi, which was well cooked, but too sweet. Also, the plain naan was very crispy!

It's the first time I visited this place with a friend. As many are strict nowadays, he will only eat at a non halal place. I can confirm the food and service here are on point, it's all non halal. We sat and had a few drinks in the pleasant environment, we arrived around 6 midweek. It started off quiet, getting busier as we enjoyed our meal. We ordered a regular mixed grill, which is small but enough for 2 people having a main as well, which we did For mains it was butter chicken and lamb saag, plus 2 naans. The food arrived hot, and flavoured. I would say that the butter chicken had more flavour on the gravy compared to the chicken but a great overall flavour definitely recommended.

Chilli paneer and chilli gobi definitely worth trying. Nice and spicy 👌 had the butter masala and mixed grills. No complaints here.

Very average food at this place. The mix grill looked like it was covered in red food colouring, and the mains dishes we ordered all tasted the same.

If you think of coming to this restaurant for authentic Indian food, you’ll definitely regret it because this restaurant just doesn’t know how to do it right! I ordered a Chicken Tikka Biryani and let me tell you it wasn’t a biryani, it didn’t even taste like what biryani should taste like, it didn’t even taste like normal pulav rice, the chicken was so tasteless, NO SALT! The chicken was so bland that I had to put salt and somehow eat it. Personal advice for this restaurant would be to stop making biryani or just don’t call it biryani just call it chicken rice and please value it for around £3. Just not worth the money. Update: My stomach has started to ache too. Never ordering from this restaurant again. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

An incredible dining experience! There is a nice atmosphere to the place and the service was very quick and efficient. We didn't have to wait long at all until our order was ready, and the garlic & cheese naan was especially tasty! Very highly recommended and I hope to return soon!

Chilli gobi was roasted badly. It was in black color.

We had a work party there. No one enjoyed the food was very disappointed as most of the currys tasted like it was out of the tin, no fresh products was used. The staffs didn't seem very friendly and moody. No welcoming feeling. A smile doesn't cost a thing. I wouldn't go back there again.

I swear to God, this is one for the worst restaurants . Please don't waste your money, time and effort of walking in here. Plenty of food colouring, smelly meat ( likely frozen used in most dishes, not fresh) we've ordered elephant grill.. very bad. Couldn't finish it. I were to write something positive . Plenty of parking, good ambience if that's what you here for . One of the guy was so aggressive when I mentioned about the food and chased me to car park and took pics of my car ( not sure what he is planning to do lol )

Have only just started ordering from this restaurant and have been really impressed with the food. We had a madras curry and it was fantastic. Delivery was quick . This is definitely our new takeaway.

Shame , I orders from this restaurant at least once a month and the portions are smaller and smaller . Food is great and is the best Indian food what I ever eat , but the fact you asking clients to pay this same price for half of the portion is out of order. I love cauliflower Gobi and today I deliver food home. I had 3 small pieces of cauliflower for nearly £8. Please think twice before order.

Food is amazing but there is a breeze from somewhere, we had to keep our coats on and so did a lot of customers, amongst themselves, could here them saying it’s cold, please get that sorted as you don’t want to be wearing coat on and evening meal out

We have all heard the saying "you get what you pay for", well you get good food and good service, very reasonably priced, in good surroundings. Although it is a limited menu and they do not do desserts. It's not the sort of place you would go for a romantic meal for two, but that's not what I wanted. Definitely recommend and definitely go again.

Great food, order at the kitchen window is great if your in a large group as they can all go up one by one, order and pay for thier own ...... Just make sure you tell the staff you want all the orders delivered together. Place is huge so lacks a bit of atmosphere if it's mid week and empty. Food was all great, the Keema Matar exceptional. Well worth a visit 👌

Great food and drinks selection

Food was cold. We brought a party of 20 and the food was delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. Whilst leaving, the owner was complaining that ONLY 400 quid was spent whilst we were there! We were also overcharged on SOFT drinks😂, to get this wrong is very poor.

Just been there now not impress at all the place is freezing I had Chicken Saga it was to hot for how it should off been my partner had chicken Madras and kema Nan we had poppodoms we got two dips usually four not impressed at at all everybody is allways said try this is great I Dont think so.

The bald man at the bar was so rude with the kid my kid was running he shouted on 3 year kid they must have manners

Biryani was the hottest I’ve ever experienced! Came with some sort of peppery sauce. I thought it came with vegetable curry? I’ve never had it served with just a sauce? The chicken was really salty. Couldn’t finish it. Won’t be going there again

Very busy when we visite but still quite a pleasant environment. Food was still fresh and hot and delicious. One of the best Indian restaurants in Coventry.

1st visit after work with workmates (great as they open at 4pm) excellent food (tasted great) loads of choice, sizable portions & the option to package your food up to take home with you if your eyes are bigger than your belly. Great value.

I came here yesterday with a group of friends and I have to say the food is absolutely disgusting the chicken tikka masala was way too salty and tastes like tomato paste and the chicken was over cooked and stringy tasted like it was going off we were not happy with the meal portions are very small. We also asked for chutney dips and they didn’t bring over any mint sauce we only had 2 dips which were tiny. The place was also cold and empty I wonder why no one wants to go here please avoid was not a great experience food may look good on pictures but it is not great to eat

I am writing this review with disappointment. Me and my friends ordered curries and wanted Naan Breads to go with them. This is how they served our Naans… Completely burned, rock hard as well. I am really disappointed to see that the staff did not see any problem sending us burned, visibly uneatable naans. It was deliverey, so we were not able to do a prompt complaint, but it was shame to see that no one was able to eat, everyone had to throw away them to the bin and we only ate plain currys. I don’t know what else to say… hope you don’t serve something you cant eat yourselves to any future customers.

I've been here a few times and not sure if it's just me but the service is a bit off the young lad dumped a pile of plate on the table with cutlery and walked off and I don't quite get the ordering at two locations one for food and one for drinks but that might just be me on that one, Food the tikka masala was very salty Mixed grill the kebabs very dry chicken was nice Naan breads keema naan so greasy in oil was a shame , cheesy naan was nice Like I said I have been a few times and a lot people rave about it I can't see why

Love this place, the food has always been absolutely amazing. But I have to say you must try our favourite Nan bread which they do for us everytime we go and that's the beast of a Kema,Chilli,Garlic,Cheese nan its to die for. To be honest, it's probably an artery clogged but we love it. They need to add it to the menu and call it, "Craig's Artery Clogger" 🤣

Food is spot on alwasy hot never had long to wait come out all separate so the whole table can tey abit if every thing Staff are friendly and kind can't complain

The best curry house is Coventry always piping hot and very delicious food, fresh naans nicy and spicy curry's and you can customise if you choose. Highly recommended this place great value for money

Been here 2-3 times now and love the food here the elephant grill never let's you down the curries are made pretty hot if your not requesting a certain spice had a madras which was lovely

We had the vegetarian grill and chilli chips shared between two and both were excellent. Really realistic soya chicken tikka, delicious range of items and a big portion. Fast and friendly delivery also. Loved it

Terrible customer service! No waitress there to take your order or give you a table. We have been told to sit anywhere, but all of their tables were dirty and full of used plates and glasses. We asked one of the team members to clean our table and what we got was attitude. The place looks really nice from the outside, but it's actually more like a pub, not a restaurant. Avoid
