We had a lovely meal, the staff made you feel at home. Great atmosphere and warm.

2nd time here and would definitely come back. We have had hanging kebabs, katsu curry, burgers then a variety of different beers, ciders and gins. Really enjoy going, the atmosphere is amazing, love the fire too. Would always recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous and photo-worthy—perfect for a special evening. We ordered Chicken Gyoza, Honey, Chilli & Sesame Chips, Pulled Pork Bun, Southern Fried Chicken Burger, and fries. Everything was spot on except the SFC burger, which was a little soggy. But the rest? Delicious and perfectly cooked! The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Overall, a great evening and a memorable birthday. Can’t wait to come back and try more! 🎉

I love the Hunloke Arms..let me say that first..all previous meals have been excellent but.. My daughter and I came Thursday for the Christmas Turkey dinner. Firstly it came on 'cold' plates with cold dishes for the veg and gravy...and the food was either cold or luke warm. I really was nice about sending it back but we couldn't eat it so had to. The young girl apologised and said they would bring fresh... No...not fresh..it wasn't much warmer and neither were the containers. We were told it was fresh food, but the piece of turkey my daughter had taken a bite of, came back with the teeth marks. But they still insisted it was fresh. Nope it was even drier Turkey and me thinks they'd shown it the microwave. The veg...ie cabbage and sprouts were raw...not even Al dente. Yet the carrots and parsnips were well done. Same dish that had been taken away because the one dish with a red onion on top...came back with the same red onion on top. By this time we couldn't t eat it. And 75% was left...including the Turkey.. oh and the 8 pieces of pigs in blankets that commandeered the meal. Such a poor way to end our eagerly anticipated meal out. They were good enough to knock 50% off the meal meaning we only paid for one, but a decent meal would gave been better. I write this reluctantly as I have always previously had good meals but I've been poorly since the afternoon of the following day and I'd only eaten toast all day... Would I come again...maybe... and it's a big maybe. My daughter has said a definite no..you can't serve partly reheated food especially Turkey.. . Just as a side note, I booked well in advance for the blossom room, and even though it wasn't overly busy we were pushed into a little side room out of the way, with no atmosphere at all. We came for a Christmas vibe seeing as how we wanted the Christmas Turkey.. but I didn't like being sidelined out of9 the way. Do i love the place enough to return... maybe not. The whole night was ruined from start to finish....

Not a regular here as the menu isn't for me but I do like to come at Christmas for a festive turkey dinner. Despite booking in advance and it not being overly busy when we came, we were seated in a side room, out the way of any other diners. I ordered a lap land ice tea which was delicious and well presented. I ordered the turkey dinner and was left so disappointed. The vegetables in the side dish were stone cold. Felt the rest of the meal which was also cold. We had no choice but to send it back. When a replacement meal came it wasn't much better but least it was warmer ... I won't use the word hotter. The cabbage was raw, sprouts were hard but the carrot, parsnip and onion were well cooked. The turkey was extremely dry, roast potatoes were hard, dry and didn't appear fresh and there was a mountain of pigs in blankets. Not even the gloopy, luke warm gravy could save the dryness. On the plus side the small piece of stuffing was tasty. Most of the meal got left and it was not enjoyable. Usually suck things up and don't say anything but this was two meals bought out which were both poor. In total four inedible turkey dinners as we both had the same meal. The waitress was brilliant and no fault in her service. She was apologetic and offered 50% off the bill to rectify the issue. Nice gesture which was appreciated but I'd rather have paid and enjoyed a nice meal out in the run up to Christmas. It had already ruined the night by then

I met a friend who had travelled from Liverpool, for a catch up before she drove back there. Food was amazing really tasty as always. Staff were nice and friendly. Toilets were clean, parking accessible and plenty. However Cashless was off putting, I like to have the choice, working in a cash heavy industry I have cash on me and rarely use my cards, to not have the choice was not great. We also got asked to move from our table for 2 as it was needed, we had been there 90 minutes - there were easily 20 empty seats in the restaurant and more in the pub area, it was slightly bizarre, but we had finished our food, so we left to go somewhere else for a drink.

Food came out cold. Food was ok when replaced, but the plate it was served on were filthy, with ground on dirt so thick you could scrape it off. I'm sorry to say I don't think we will be going back again, which is a shame as it's always been good before.

Food absolutely awful, worst food I've ever add, even server agreed! Can't believe I agreed to even pay final bill of 8.70, they even got my soda water n lime wrong, my whole meal was inedible, sorry u guys, maybe u bad a nite..don't think I'll be coming back, my table next to me complained too their pizzas ad virtually no toppings n other table their burgers were dripping in fat, ???with? Won't recommend, felt like college newcomers had done the food defo NOT a designated chief chef, truly awful awful food, yuk !

Saw this pub recommended on TikTok and it looked great. Visited on a Saturday night without a booking but the hostess managed to squeeze us in. Ordered via QR code as the bar was understandably busy. The food was so good, I would definitely reorder the honey halloumi fries and chilli fries. Drinks are well priced too. Very nice all around, and wheelchair accessible too. Would return if I’m in the area again.

Loved this place! The Asian fusion menu is amazing. The portions and quality of food is great value for money. The atmosphere is warm and cosy and I love the touch of fur or cherry blossom aesthetics sprinkled around the place. Love it and would highly recommend. I'd also recommend booking a table in advance.

I liked the tapas style items. We had 3 tapas plus 2 sides and a pizza. All very good. Will definitely be back out to one of the other pubs in this small chain

Came to this lovely place in an amazing setting for a special Birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect 👌 The food was absolutely brilliant. The wood fired pizzas were massive!! And soooo tasty!! All the food we ordered was great. And the cocktails!! What can I say? The blood bath cocktail had to be tried. It was a funny experience and well worth it for the laughs. I would totally recommend this place if you're in the area or visiting like we were. 10 out of 10 from me 😎👌

This is an amazing looking place with service and food to match. The staff were attentive and friendly. I had the chilli-beef bao bun to start which was fantastic, each of our party all very much enjoyed their starters of camembert and belly pork yakitori sticks. The mains were a little hit and miss, but some of our party are particularly hard to please... I myself had the trio of mini sliders which were good, the chicken was a little dry and very salty. Very excited to come back to try more of the menu.

Booked for a birthday treat, food was very delicious and plentiful, drinks were ok, a couple of mocktails, mine was lovely but my daughters was just basically ice with very little liquid. Very nice complimentary ice cream and a happy birthday message, that was a nice touch

Second time I've visited here. The food and drinks are excellent. The teas are perfect, really good leaf ones. Cocktails look brilliant although I didn't have one. The food is to die for. Excellent choices, excellent quality. Excellent value for money. I will be back and can highly recommend

Stopped in for lunch and was our first visit. Really lovely pub / restaurant. We are in the pub area but restaurant looked very nice. Great outdoor area as well which I get is great for a drink / meal in the summer. This place has a terrific atmosphere warm and welcoming. Staff are all helpful and friendly and food brought out promptly. They have a large range of drinks, lagers, ales and ciders and it was nice to try some thing different (IPA I hadn't had before). The menu is different with a lot of choice and while we only had lunch the food was fabulous as was the presentation. We will go back and try them one evening and would recommend a visit.

What can I say apart from amazing from the moment we arrived. we was greated by a friendly guy on the door who was polite and professional like wise the young girl who took our order and served us nothing was a problem. The chefs who we did meet did amazing job the food was fantastic. All at a very reasonable price ,the building it self is also very nice and well kept with lovely decor and the final touch of the nite was a complimentary free ice-cream to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Visited last Saturday, they were out of sirloin steak, ordered 3 small yakitori sticks and some chilli and honey fries, sticks all arrived cold, chips didn’t arrive and we had to ask staff for them, dessert arrived cold aswell Overall disappointing

Great place. Loads of parking. Busy but in a good way. Funky interior. Food was good. Very warm in there!

First time we had tried here - we’d heard it was good. Sadly this wasn't our experience. The place was nice enough and no issues with service or staff but the food was disappointing. I had a chicken burger which was very well done and extremely tough to eat. My husband had the beef stroganoff. The beef was tender enough but tasteless and the onions were hard. It was served in a bland watery liquid - similar to what you would get from a cheap packet sauce mix. The meat clearly hadn’t been cooked in the sauce. With hindsight we should have complained but it was an anniversary meal and we didn't want to spoil the event. As we left there was a strong smell of burnt food coming out of the extractors in the car park. Maybe the kitchen staff were having an off day but if they were prepared to still serve the food knowing it was burnt then we wont risk going there again.

Fab place , friendly staff. If I were to pick fault it would be that waiting staff passed food over other guests on our table, rather than coming round to our side to serve. The food was lovely, but the bread on burgers was a little dry, maybe more fish dishes would be a good option. Said that, I would recommend going and enjoying the atmosphere

The food is fabulous so is the front of house welcime and the establishment us beautiful. Bar staff could be more friendly and attentive at times, service tends to be slow. The fabulous 'order at your table' system works when you log into their WiFi which should really be explained on your first visit.

Worst fish and chips iv ever had. Used to be good here. Now it's literally 2 for tenner quality. Honestly don't waste your money here.

The Orchid is such a beautiful area upstairs! Will probably book up here again..it's so pretty! I used the app throughout my visit to order food/drinks. Super easy to do, and didn't have to wait around for service but items did come out super quickly! Good value for money, I'm leaving one very full & satisfied customer!

Always a great meal. Highly recommend booking the restaurant upstairs as the decor is really something else. Food is great, service is great and the fact you can order and pay on your phone makes it a lot faster!

My partner took me for a Birthday meal after several friends recommended it. It did not disappoint. The upstairs looks phenomenal and our waitress Emily was a huge part of our great experience, explained the menu and was there to assist without being in your face, bubby and welcoming. Beautiful dishes. Nice Cocktails. The Tai Chicken was lovely. Its one of my favourites. Presentation was amazing as always. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was upto standard and attentive. Beautiful decor inside. The only issue was it can get very, very busy and loud. The seats are pretty close to the next table, so you don't feel you have alot of privacy. If you don't mind that it's no problem, if you like a more quiet, chilled relaxing meal, maybe this isn't the place for you.

A beautiful, traditional pub with a warm welcome, extensive menu and fabulous decor throughout, really cosy. Food was lovely, more vegetarian options would be preferred but they do have some. Definitely be back

Went here for lunch Friday teatime and was really disappointed with the chips as they were disgusting all broken burnt bits and just a few nice ones on the top to hide the others 😟 first visit for me and it will be my last

We love this place! However there are clearly 2 very different chefs. If we go in the day the garlic bread with tomato is oozing with garlic, tomato, etc in the evening it’s dry as hell. It needs to be more consistent.

This pub is one of the best around. Food reasonably priced for what you get, and you get your moneys worth. Definitely recommend and also would recommend booking.

Food was excellent and service was great, the atmosphere in the building was wonderful! Had the Korean steak kebab was great, but was glad I didn't have a starter, the main was quite enough.

We visited this amazing gastro pub for the first time last night and it was fantastic. Truly one of the best places that I have water in the U.K. We had a table in the upstairs section of the restaurant and the pink trees and lights made the aesthetics beautiful. The service was excellent - discreet and attentive without being rushed or put under any pressure to leave. But the most memorable part of the evening was the food. The portion sizes are generous, the quality was outstanding, and everything was presented with such care and attention.

Absolutely 💯 outstanding in every aspect of service, ambience, speed and efficiency, portion size, menu choices, and quality of food. This is the best gastro pub I have ever been to in the U.K. You simply MUST visit!

Very good service but completely flat beer and truly awful fish and chips - served in a wooden box on a piece of paper, flabby batter, unseasoned fish and cold mushy peas. The rest of the party's food was OK but we shall not be going again despite the friendly and considerate service.

I've been to the Hunloke a few times now and it's always been great food and service. Yesterday, I told the waitress as usual that I have both a dairy and gluten intolerance and she was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to help me decide what to have, and when I ordered something that I thought didn't have gluten in, she came over and went through each ingredient with me to make sure I could have it. It made the whole experience just so much easier and I didn't feel like I was being a pain at all (like how some waiting staff can make me feel!). Would definitely recommend anyway as it's great food, great atmosphere and great service. But, especially for people with allergies you will be very looked after!!

Had a family birthday celebration in the upstairs restaurant. Great food, especially the pizzas, great service, in a fantastic room.

All staff are very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The price range of food and drinks is very well marketed, and the quality is without question ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ During the service, we let slip our reason for our night out, and the waitress brought us a nice thoughtful surprise at the end of our meal, which made it all the more special. Thank you again 💓 for that. This is a must-see and dine restaurant/bar to visit.

Visited to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Food,staff, and service were excellent. The kind staff decorated a dessert platter with an anniversary greeting. A kind gesture.

Last visited in 1990 :). Huge change but went on recent recommendations. Lively atmosphere unlike anything experienced locally (Sat evening) but I mean this in a positive way. Service very good but had to wait at the bar for fifteen minutes for table. Trying to get served at the bar felt like being in a very busy town centre bar having to attract the attention of the overworked bar staff. Once at the table the experience was superb, with a brilliant explanation and insight of the menu by the table service. Pizzas were excellent, full of flavour, perfectly cooked in the wood fired oven and the fillet skewers hanging above the plate were also a delight. Three of us with drinks cost £90 including a thankyou payment.

Fantastic, great food, large portions and knockout cocktails. Great for families, couples and they welcome dogs in certain areas.

Great place, loved the food usually, but got food poisoning from the fish and chips, up all night with cramps and head in a bowl, I'd personally avoid the fish but everything else is great.
