I enjoyed a festive ciabatta with chips followed by the festive cookies and cream blondie which were both very nice. The establishment itself was nice but the app was frustrating as it wasn’t allowing me to order, which seems to be problematic in whichever Wetherspoons we visit, so I went to order at the bar instead.

Easy to park in Alton although you will have to pay. Dropped in for breakfast which is always excellent value. You know what you are going to get but can never moan about that price. You can keep refilling your drinks if you want, comfortable space and easy to order.

I knew off to bad start no vegetarian breakfast due to run out of veggie sausages so had to order extras instead. I had hash browns, fried egg, beans and mushrooms, my husband had traditional breakfast. Both breakfasts were cold, my mushrooms (2 of them) weren't peeled, my fried egg had most of the white missing and the yolk was so hard it was inedible. Only good thing was unlimited coffee

Shocking poor service, incompetent kitchen staff and management. Clueless about service and rectifying issues. Handed back food that was not even lukewarm to be told it's fine it's been probed! Laughable behaviour. Handed partial refund with no ounce of an apology even after sending out a vegetarian plate with chicken on it. Avoid at all possibilities even if on a budget.

Truly the perfect end to a night out is grabbing a doner wrap and cheesey chips, with lovely staff and good prices this is my go to.

All the way from the USA and I have to say this was the best kebab I’ve ever had! The owners are such nice people!! We will absolutely be back!

It was in last October that I had the chanve to taste their food. What a delight! I was very happy customer and the service was beyond excellent, very friendly and professional. Will go back on my future visits.

First time using this takeaway and won't rush back. The done meat was under cooked, barely warm and tasteless. It was disgusting. Purchased 2 small doners for my partner & I and certainly won't be rushing back until they serve better.

Food was awful and one member of staff humiliated me in front of my family by taking away my pint because I didn’t have my ID on me (thought I’m 23) the look on his face was smug as anything.

Mr and Mrs boss make delicious chips and give the best service - if I could give 5+ stars, I would. Mrs Good Egg xxx

Breakfast Horrendous! Chef needs sacking! They couldn’t give a toss about the customer eating and any restaurant standard! My 8 year old could have produced better blindfolded! Cold and gross! Reheated x10 skin covered beans Overcooked rubbery eggs Cremated black pudding Cheap sausages Toast that hasn’t seen the toaster Reheated hard bacon Cold eggs Benedict without a runny egg a under toasted muffin If I wasn’t in a hurry I would have sat and waited until a decent breakfast was produced! To be honest I think it would have been a big ask for that kitchen to produce anything fresh and tasty!

I’m staying in Alton for one week for work. I googled this place so decided to try it out. Mhemet (I think that was his name) was a lovely fella, he taught me a valuable life lesson about kebab fat and how it congeals 🤣🤣🤣 food was tasty, and grilled to perfection. I would definitely recommend the lamb kofte. He even let me off 20p fora can of tango!!! 100% recommend here for a tasty kebab. From chris (Swansea guy)

We ate here before playing a gig at a local venue, the kebabs were great and the couple that run the shop are really friendly, funny had very kind. We will definitely eat here again the next time we visit Alton.

I ordered a ham and chess pannie well you would have to look very hard for more than a tea spoone.of cheese so dry hardly any ham also the pub /restaurant very dirty dust on low levels months old when I phoned to complain was told two days ago they had an inspection from the counsle.and given a 5star how ridiculous and if its true there's something not right and it was very dirty I will be checking with the council as its not possible to be true the person I spoke to said jhis name was Ben when I asked for surname he said he was busy and rung up so rude oh my how can thus be allowed I'm obviously will never be going there again

Lovely owners and equally as lovely food. The chicken shish is one of the best and I’ve tried a lot.

Enjoyed the food, loved chatting with the friendly owners about travelling around England. They suggested that we add the city of Winchester to our itinerary, and we ended up discovering a place that it would have been a shame to miss. We felt like we walked in as strangers and left as friends!

I have known these guys for a long time and they have always greeted me with a friendly face and a lovely conversation not only that their food is to die for! Always fresh and I finish every last bite everytime! No complaints!!!

The best take away around! I’ve been frequenting the royal kebab house for 25 years and they never fail to please! (We moved away for 8 years and when we returned they still remembered me! Not sure if that’s a good thing!😂) They do a mean pizza and an even more amazing Salad! I absolutely love their salad! (Salad is amazing with a side of cheesy chips and their special Chilli sauce) I am a fussy so and so and always pick fault everywhere I eat either because of choice or hygiene or most often both! so I generally don’t bother anymore but when I fancy a takeaway The royal Kebab house is always a first choice! Delicious food and amazing hygiene standards! The best thing though is the service and their personal touch. They go out of their way to please and could teach others in hospitality a thing or two. Popped in just to say hello when passing whilst walking the dog and was surprised with a treat for the dog and lollipops to take home for the kids! It is very rare I give a good review!

The Food and Service here is always the best around for Kebab Shops. The guy that runs the place is very friendly as is his wife! The menu has a wide range of “fast Food” type things to offer and the quality is always brilliant. I spent my youth days going here most weekends and always used to love the garlic ciabatta! This evening I had a donor and chips which was as always brilliant! IT also felt like good value for a takeaway given the market for takeaway food now days!
