The java bar in York

Vivir bastante cerca y estaba en mi camino a casa de una cita dental - no había notado mucho este lugar anteriormente, pero vino a comer. Resultó ser una delicia absoluta - delicioso panini a un precio razonable para York. Parece un gran café y pastel también. Volveré.

Teniendo algún tiempo para esperar a que mi coche se arregle, consulté a Tripadvisor y encontré que “el mejor café cerca de mí” no estaba lejos para un poco de tocino y hongos encantadores en un sándwich, además de un buen capuchino. Escondido, pero realmente vale la pena una visita.

No podía creer lo rápido que nuestra comida salió, dado el almuerzo - prisa de tiempo. Un lugar encantador, el personal cálido y amable; mi panini vegetariano / feta asado y pastel de zanahoria eran deliciosos.

My mum always comes for breakfast - as many times as she’s allowed - when visiting my sister in Rawcliffe. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are scrummy - and there is such a nice atmosphere and welcome. Came for lunch today as our journey from home made us too late for breakfast. Lovely selection of hot and cold sandwiches and baked potatoes. Wish we had a Java Bar at the end of our road!

This is a hidden gem of a cafe. Really cosy atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Really good choice of drinks and food. The owner hand makes a lot of the cakes and they’re delicious. Reasonably priced. My daughter and myself can eat breakfast, have two lattes and a large cake to share and it’s costs around £15!

Normally I never have a complaint but unfortunately things were still put in my sandwiches which I asked to be removed , I walked all the way home and realised . the store shut at 2 so I couldn’t exchange or get a replacement which was very disappointing Normally I don’t have a problem Very unfortunate I will definitely check before leaving in future

The food is the best 👌 it's definitely a 5 star! (Written by my 8 year old!) Would be inclined to agree, lovely service, lovely cakes and a nice cuppa. Children's hot chocolates received a thumbs up too.

Good coffee, friendly staff and customers valued as individuals. They made my dad smile. He was so happy. They celebrated with dad when his football team won!

I pop in at least 3-4 times a week on the way out to work. The coffee and food are great. Will is a great guy and all the staff are lovey

Stayed for a really nice sandwich lunch and delicious smoothies. Really friendly service from William and his family that own the cafe. Prices were very reasonable and have a slight discount if you take away (would encourage you to stay and relax though). Also had a highchair for our son and some toys to keep him entertained. My wife has been several times and we'll keep returning to support this great local family business.

This is our post gym and local coffee stop, I love supporting solid local businesses contributing to the community, plus the cofee is good and they do a good bacon and eggs too :)

I regularly visit Java Bar for a breakfast bap and an occasional treat before a long hard day at work. They are always cooked as requested and served with a smile!

Not much else I can add. I get my coffee here on days when I am at home and it's really lovely. The staff are always friendly too.
