Really friendly bar staff and nice, welcoming atmosphere. Haven't eaten the yet but stayed for a few rounds of drinks.

Pokémon gym here... The place is OK for those interested in sports, and the prices are good. But although this is my closest pub, I can't remember when I last went in.

I had not visited for years but would visit again. Could do with some real ales as limited when I visited. The live music venue downstairs looks good and great they put on live events .

I went to the moonraker club underneath. Great night!

Solid community pub in Westcliff, close to the railway station. Relaxed atmosphere, limited but unusual cask ale selection, friendly service and nice outdoor seating area to the front. That's all.

Great venue downstairs for Almost Grown night of Northern Soul, R & B, Ska and scooter music! Brilliant night

Great pub with a huge selection of drinks, comfy seating, a fireplace and great views of the football. Just round the corner to the Cliffs Pavillion too, so a great venue to go to before a show. Only downside was that food was not being served at a normal time for dinner.

This is an oasis close to Westcliff station, nice pub with a real fire. Appears to be the only place open in Westcliff late evening!

Very good Took a train ride a few stops just to find this place. Well worth it and going back soon for a few before the restaurant down the road. Nice decor, friendly crowd, A nice typical boozer. My exam question, will I go back, you bet I will.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

The place is way too desperate for business on Sundays. The idea of a karaoke night is a joke, unless you are prepared to be strung along before the prizes are blatantly woven back into the cash register through the regular customers. Lesson learnt!

The pub causes real problems for local residents and businesses in the area due to loud music and people leaving the venue late at night I hope it closes soon Sadly now under new management same problems noise and I expect drug use too

Staying in hotel around the corner in westcliff. Only bar that's open, bar staff ok. Full of local lads, not really that friendly but staff were ok had a pint and left. Had music ok if your with friends.

Best pub in Southend! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the locals are lovely and very welcoming. Visited Southend for a long weekend and this pub was the best one by far!

Looking forward to the open mic night from 7 pm. Try Jim's own Sterling lager only£2:50 per pint. Bring your instruments and have a laugh

Location was within walking distance of the Cliffs Pavilion and B&B

This is one of the first pubs I found when I moved to the area, everyone was so welcoming and made me feel part of the family. Since then many changes have taken place but the staff and management are top of the game. I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you're in the area pop in always a good laugh.

Not many traditional pubs left but this Pub is just that, Fantastic Staff and the drinks are one of the most reasonably priced in the area, Friday Nights are great and cant wait for the Club to open up again next weekend after a Fabulous Refurbishment and nothing better than Super Villan, A Fantastic Band To Entertain You, ITS A MUST.
