The Light Garden Cafe in Highland

Paramos aquí en un día lluvioso después de ver las increíbles críticas. La comida era buena, las bebidas estaban bien y la sección de café en sí es preciosa. Cuando miramos en el sitio web, no estaba del todo claro que el área de juegos para niños estuviera justo al lado, pero no nos importó demasiado. Es un buen lugar para tomar una buena comida, ¡pero probablemente más si tienes niños!

Un gran lugar escondido en el cansado centro de Nevis. Al lado de un juego suave que afortunadamente era bastante tranquilo sin niños gritando. Preciosas opciones saludables y comida recién hecha. Genial para encontrar un pequeño café que use ropa de verduras y no plástico de un solo uso.

Jamie, Brian y el personal superaron el deber para asegurarse de que una clase de 30 niños tuviera una experiencia gastronómica inolvidable. Nada era demasiado problema. Los cambios de última hora en los requisitos dietéticos se resolvieron rápida y fácilmente. La comida era fresca, sabrosa y abundante, y los platos vacíos hablaban por sí mismos. Almorzamos en este café porque estábamos buscando una comida sana y ligera. Según las reseñas aquí y su propio sitio web, este era el lugar para ir. Sin embargo, al mirar el menú en el sitio, ofrecían principalmente tarifas estándar en carretera como hamburguesas y pasta. ¡Imagine nuestra decepción cuando la pasta carbonara vino con papas fritas y la envoltura integral vino con papas fritas con sabor a queso! El área del café fue recientemente renovada, pero toda la experiencia fue arruinada por el área de juegos muy ruidosa y abarrotada, a 15 pies de distancia. Solo lo recomendaría para familias con niños pequeños.

First we had a hard time finding it and then a really nice Scotrail employee showed me where to find it and then He also said it has really good juices. With optimism for food quality, we entered the bowling alley, found the cafe and were the only guests at 12:30. It took early forty minutes to get our food. The food was surprisingly boring and not tasty. A real miss while traveling through. We could have gone to The McDonald’s next door

Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und verhältnismäßig günstig. Die Atmosphäre morgens um 10 ist allerdings äußerst mittelmäßig und kühl. Definitiv keine 5 Punkte.

Took my mum to the light garden for mothers day tea, and my dad tagged along. Beautifully presented, good options given, and service was great. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to visit. Sandwiches, toastie, soup and cakes left my parents and me very impressed.

Heard great reviews about The Light Garden Cafe and decided to go and try it out with my young family. The menu is extensive and caters for both healthy eaters and those looking for more traditional dishes. And just as importantly, the prices are very fair. The portion size was great and my veggie burger was delicious and came with an amazing salad and chips. An added bonus was the kids corner, with colouring-in books and reading books. Highly recommend visiting.

Perfect place for families! There is something for everyone. We had the chicken soul bowl, posh dog, veggie burger and pancakes! everything was amazing! Lovely staff and plenty of parking. Will be back soon :)

We popped into The Nevis Centre for a look, and by good luck found the Light Garden Cafe. Definitely worth a visit...good range of food, freshly prepared and well presented; we had a lovely lunch. Helpful staff. Easy parking there too , which is a big plus.

This place is a must visit if you're travelling through Fort William and looking for a pit stop. It was just perfect for our little one year old who could crawl around in the soft play and stretch her legs whilst the adults enjoyed a really yummy and relaxing lunch. I had the most delicious Tofu Soul bowl with hummus and veggies. Hubs had a lovely hamburger and baby ate her entire plate of macaroni cheese and peas! There was so much to choose from on the menu including healthy shakes and breakfast options like pancakes. Food was fresh and took no time at all to come! We were all really pleased. They have a super wee play corner and books for the big ones and adults too! So glad we stopped by. Will definitely return again!

The light garden have started doing takeaways at the weekend. Get it delivered to your door quality food . Absolutely amazing. Mouth watering. No more Chinese for me. Staff friendly quality food. Flawless. Thank you so much.

The Light Garden were fantastic at helping with catering for my sons birthday party. Jamie, Brian and their staff went out of their way to help us, they were all so kind and very generous. The food they prepared was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Nothing was a problem and they were so keen to help. We’ve also eaten lunch here and it was delicious, the toasties come with a lovely fresh salad and the coffee is fantastic too. Thanks very much for everything, we’ll definitely be back!

En visite en Ecosse et de passage à Fort William, the light garden café a été une agréable découverte, une déco douce et chaleureuse,des plats faits maison et un accueil amical.

super restaurant très bien accueillis dans un cadre très agréable.la nourriture est excellente et fraiche.les plats sont tres bien servi.

Just had the most amazing 3 course dinner for two delivered to my door for valentines.

Nous habitons à Fort William et nous avons profité du menu livré à la maison avec une rose pour notre St Valentin. Le repas était comme d'habitude excellent et le chessecake chocolant blanc/framboise est le meilleur que j'ai jamais mangé !

The light Garden is a fantastic place to go and eat in Fort William.We had an amazing hot buffet, with steak pie, mac & cheese, chicken curry, lasagne, chips and rice, there was about 30 of us on our staff night out nothing was to much trouble for them.We had dietery requirements which agian they done an amazing job, service was fab and correspondence was great and a lovely atmosphere Would definitely recommend. We had a great night, thanks agian

We had a lovely meal at the Light Garden. The food was fresh, very tasty and the portions were more than generous. One member of our party had dietary requirements and this was catered for with ease. Had an amaaaaazing buffet made for us on our staff bowling night. So tasty I went back for seconds and thirds! Will be back again :)

Fort William is very lucky to have The Light Garden Cafe nestled in the Nevis Centre. It offers a selection of piping hot, hearty food at a very reasonable price. I can highly recommend the delicious steak which melts in your mouth. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.

We had a hot buffet consisting of lasagne,chicken curry, steak pie & macaroni served with chips & rice.Gluten free dishes were available also. The food was absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly recommend The Light Garden.

Went for work night out,about 30 of us sitting to eat hit buffet. It was amazing and for me very special as I am coeliac and find eating out difficult. There was no problem in cooking anything for me at all. On the menu was steak pie, I had my "own" without the pastry, macaroni (also made separate), and Lasagne that everyone including me could eat (my favourite meal of the night). Can't wait to go back and try more on the menu

There tonight with about 30 colleagues. Delicious hot food buffet, like steak pie, lasagne and macaroni cheese. Takeaway hot rolls earlier in the day were just as tasty. Fantastic addition to restaurants in Fort William

I've eaten here several times and each time the food exceeds my expectations. Whether it be a smoothie bowl, burger, sandwich or some of the amazing baked goods I can't recommend the food enough! Even the kids chicken balls are phenomenal! The cafe also caters events and although I haven't had the opportunity to use this service they will definetly be my first choice for anything in the future.

Had a vegetarian breakfast was delicious.. Lunch next time amazing menu clean and contemporary little cafe .
