The Lion Bar & Club in Walsall

Came to the Christmas scare maze tonight and had a great time. The maze was original and scary. Loved the add on of the scare box and the electric chair.

Dump of a place, unfriendly and rough.

We came here for the Scare Maze, which was awesome. I've been to quite a few live actor scare experiences and this was the best. But the bar in general is lovely and very welcoming, as most gay bars are. Brilliant staff.

Amazing absolutely amazing, had such a great time! Drinks were fab! Everyone was so nice too! Loved it and deffo coming again soon!

Had a big girl outside saying its close so get back in you taxi this was 12oclock so will never try and come again

It's such a difficult time for bar staff during this time having to do table service. The staff here are amazing, run off their feet but always pleasant and polite. Brilliant ❤️

Great Sunday lunch plus free entertainment ( a drag artist and drag compare). Considering the covid restrictions everything was perfect.

Food was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Drag acts were brilliant.

The friendliest bar outside of Birmingham. Newly refurbished in keeping with their high standards. From the outside it looks very discreet but wait til you get in, you'll soon fall in love with the place :).

Busy on a sat, fantastic music til about 3 then get all hardcore, is abit expensive but well worth it, garentee a cracking night out

Best club in Walsall although always seems empty. Probably need to advertise more. A gay bar but not just for gay and lesbians. All invited.

Great night out but one member of staff very rude and aggressive towards women.

Extremely disappointed went there for a night out on a Friday night and after paying for a taxi to Walsall were told that the venue was closed for a private party. We were informed we could sit and wait for the function to be over and might be able to go in the club later. I came with my son and his partner and we're very disappointed that the only gay venue in Walsall had been closed for a straight party when they have the rest of Walsall for this! The calibre of young people in there for this party were rude, arrogant and very crude not good examples of young people .... no manners. The rest of Walsall is now awful and it seems these people are now allowed to take over a gay venue. There was nothing on the website to say that the venue was closed for a function which would have saved us a wasted journey and could have gone somewhere worth while. This was a place for people to go to get away from the usual people that are now out in Walsall. None of us will be attending the club again including my son etc.

Great place to go out, great staff, great drinks prices, pizzas served, large outdoor garden area with outdoor bar and outdoor garden fast food outlet.

No idea how this place has a 4.5 star review. The staff are rude, the music is awful, no atmosphere and the management speak about u behind your back. Total waste of a night out wont be having a penny of my money ever again
