The Lloyds Indian Restaurant in Solihull

Visited here on Tuesday evening with colleagues, we have been a couple of times previously while working at the NEC, the food was incredible, fresh popadoms, great pickles, I had prawn puri starter, generous amount of prawns and a tandoori mix grill, with fresh, succulent high quality meats!! Naan bread was delicious too!! I’m really giving this place 10/10, the staff are so nice and friendly and have a sense of humour!! Which is great!! Can’t wait to go back next year!!

Después de 15 minutos sentados en nuestra mesa y sin servicio de bebidas o comida nos fuimos. Vamos Lloyds puedes hacerlo mejor que esto

Ordené que nos llevaran diez personas por teléfono la noche anterior. Aparecí esta noche y nuestra comida estaba lista rápidamente a la hora acordada. El restaurante se había tomado el tiempo de apilarlo cuidadosamente en dos cajas y una bolsa, lo que facilitaba la decantación y el servicio una vez en casa. La comida era increíble! Todos en nuestra fiesta disfrutaron de su comida. La comida estaba caliente, las porciones eran generosas y las comidas y los lados eran deliciosos. Recomiendo encarecidamente Lloyds comida para llevar y el servicio de 5 estrellas que recibimos.

En primer lugar, el restaurante estaba helado. Preguntamos varias veces si se podía subir la calefacción, pero nos dijeron que estaba encendido y que lo harían, pero nada mejoró. Tuve un viaje familiar desde fuera de la ciudad para celebrar un cumpleaños (que notifiqué en mi reserva) ¡ni siquiera se reconoció! Varios elementos estaban mal con el orden, pero se encontraron bien con cualquier actitud. La comida era buena, pero con toda la competencia no volveríamos.

Experiencia extremadamente decepcionante en Lloyds en Knowle esta noche. El servicio al cliente fue terrible, con uno de los miembros del personal siendo grosero, condescendiente y completamente desdeñoso con cualquier comentario. Esperamos más de una hora y media por nuestra red, y cuando finalmente llegaron, hubo un problema con uno de los platos. En lugar de abordar el problema profesionalmente, el personal me acusó de mentir y se puso agresivo y defensivo. Es una pena, ya que hemos sido clientes leales durante más de 15 años. Nunca esperé un trato tan malo. Al irse un miembro del personal que no era familiar se disculpó por el comportamiento y parecía avergonzado ¡Qué vergüenza!

Food was great. Service was very good. It was a little loud in the dining great on a Saturday night.

I know it was a Saturday night but the food was 1hr and 20 minutes after the order. We literally live 2 minutes drive from restaurant. Food was cold and the chicken on one meal was awful. We will not be ordering again.

Best Indian in Knowle. The food is always great quality and the service is very friendly. If you're looking to eat in Knowle, this is the place to go.

when ever I fancy an Indian I always go for Lloyd's, food is amazing, good portions, food always tastes nice and comes hot still. delivery people are well mannered as well always got a smile on their face and tells you to enjoy your meal.

I use their restaurant. So great to have delivered food too. The food selection is great and always cooked fresh. Brilliant

Whilst visiting friends made an impromptu visit with the wife, what a gem this place is, great service, fantastic decor and atmosphere and exquisite food. As an Asian myself it’s very rare that I find an Indian restaurant that produces food of this quality and just like home made. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

My family and I came for the first time and were very impressed by the service. Our waiter called Sal was so kind, respectful and honest. We were in awe of his generosity and kindness. Sal really raised the bar regarding our first impression. The food was so delicious and flavourful. Overall, we would definitely eat there again

First time back since before lockdown. What a disappointment. Firstly and primarily, what is going on with restaurants of this calibre using frozen chicken? Dry as dust and zero taste. Aroma in Bentley Heath did exactly the same. Secondly the new decor makes the place soulless. Thirdly, the staff (or perhaps just our server) was gruff and unfriendly. So different to the numerous visits we’ve had historically to Lloyd’s. I hope they get their act together.

Little hit and miss at this restaurant these days, have been going for years but in recent months food standard not as good. Service is excellent and prompt just not quite what it used to be food wise

Great evening, we had 55 under 13's and their parents from Sils rugby club. We had the whole upstairs and had a great night. Food was spot on & atmosphere & general feel was exactly what we wanted. Thank you Lloyds for looking after us so well. 🙏

Ordered a delivery which took 1.5 hours to arrive, and when it did, one of the curries was really oily despite asking for less oil. I rang up after an hour of waiting to be told the driver had left, but was late due to the rain. Seemed like they were dealing with too many orders as it was New Years Day

We’re big fans of Lloyds! The food is some of the best in Birmingham and we would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous in every way. The superb menu is reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Decor is luxurious and the hospitality warm and welcoming making the dining experience feel very special. Definitely the one to visit again and again.

Spectacular curries. They give you the right amount of portions as well. Wide range of starters and mains. Good atmosphere as well inside, the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome, me and my friends often come here if we want to go out for a curry and we will continue to do so.

Visited on the 23rd of December 2022 for a Christmas Eve Eve curry with my partner. Called to book, the staff had excellent telephone manners. I've been to quite a few curry houses/ restaurants and grills across the country and the staff were magic! Well dressed, polite and well mannered. Great selection of dishes to choose from which was great! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks You!
