I visit the met bar on a regular basis when I visit my mate, the food is freshly made and is so gorgeous, Julia and staff are so polite and respectful, if your around the Whitefield area this is the place for breakfast with a friendly welcome

I ordered a cheese and onion barn, with salad cream ,I think they forgot to take the lid off ,when she brought it to our van ,she soon rushed off on a delivery ,the cheese was tasteless ,but the barm fresh ,just being honest

I like a good fry up and I only ever go for one there. It’s the ingredients they use I can honestly say the sausages they use are the best I have ever had. Butties are made with fresh bread. Nothing comes close to their cafe food. It’s all at a good price as well. Top marks for me!!!!

The food is all cooked to order. Whether a full English or a sausage bap, they a hot & filling. Coffee hot & fresh. Brownies to die for. A no frills gem. Does a great great takeout trade. Not a lot of seating so you could end up sitting with one of the regulars but the place is all the better for that. Good value for money.

Just had a full english breakfast (£4.50) and a coffee (£1.30), and overall I was very happy with my meal at the met bar. The coffee was very warm and tasty and in my opinion as good as the well known high street named coffee shops. The breakfast itself was nicely presented (see photo), was served hot and tasted very good, apart from the sausages which were quite pink in the middle and not to my liking. The cafe was clean and tidy, the staff were polite and helpful and the prices were fair too. The met bar is well located on the main high street, next to the Whitefield Metro station. There is plenty of free parking nearby. Unfortunately, I felt that staff were not able to keep up with the demand of orders from customers at peak times of the day. My wait time was a little high, however I could sense the frustration of some customers having to wait quite some time. As the met bar is only small, at busy times of the day, it can feel a bit overcrowded. I definitely recommend ‘the met bar’, but in future I will only go when it is not too busy.

Very poor service. ordered 'breakfast' before 9am, by 11am the food still hadn't been delivered, we then had to go collect our order at half 11 and the food still wasn't ready. breakfast become dinner!!!
